The room was spacious with an extra bed (for 3 adults). Close to Osaka station and the large malls. The decoration of the hotel is beautiful. We visited in late autumn so we hardly found red leaves in the city. However, the small but lovely garden of the hotel still offered the bright red and yellow leaves so it was quite a bonus.

The housekeeper didn’t clean up the tea set that we used in the room for 2 consecutive days. When we asked the concierge they said that the housekeeper thought that the teabag we left in the teapot belonged to us so she didn’t dare to remove it. In fact it’s the tea provided by the hotel at the minibar. However, at least she should clean the tea cups !

The hotel facility is great, comfortable cans clean.

We stay at the hotel for two nights. Unfortunately, we face a strong typhoon during our check out time (Aug 15, 2023. Typhoon no. 7). As all the stores and shopping mall nearby was close at the time, we have no where to go. We expect intercontinental hotel Osaka could offer more services with the customer who pays for the top services, such as check out time suspend into 2PM or etc during the tough time for customer. However we didn’t receive any services, it was very disappointed, since I heard some of the hotels nearby offer lunch box to their customer at this critical moment while facing strong typhoon no. 7.

The staff at the lobby and concerige desk were extremely friendly and helpful. They made me feel really welcomed and went out of their way to assist me on my needs

Very disappointed that there is no hotel operated mini bus which connects Kansai Airport to the hotel. The limo bus which goes from Kansai airport to Osaka city stops at a distance from the hotel, the walk from the bus stop to the hotel is not easy with large luggage. It took me 15-20 mins to walk from the limo bus stop to the hotel, having to cross main streets and heavy traffic area. I tried to hail a taxi but the driver declined to take me as the ride is too short a distance. The hotel should provide transport at least from the Limo bus statation in Osaka city to the hotel.

We had an emergency situation back at home and needed to leave the following day. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to assist us. From the check-in, the staff contacted Booking to make the change in our reservation without any extra charge, to the concierge who went out of her way to assist us in purchasing train tickets. She even wrote us a personal note, expressing her sympathy. We cannot express enough our gratitude for their extraordinary service. Breakfast was very good, the bed comfortable and the shower was great. Although we had to limit our stay, this is a hotel that we shall gladly visit again.

We stayed in a suite on the 32nd floor, with a balcony, which in this years heat was not as useable and was sparsely furnished so not inviting. Gym and fitness is excellent, no need to bring kit all is provided, down to swimming trunks. Great restaurant and bar, with floor to ceiling windows.

The suite is showing signs of its age, small but unnecessary stains on the rugs and scuff marks The service is poor and very unconnected. We ordered in room dinning on our first night (eventually) and struggled to get through. The next day having been out we arrived back at 5.15pm to find the suite had not been serviced at all, this threw out our dinner plans - very poor in deed and only when we called did housekeeping arrive. Finally on checking out, I lost my glasses and when that evening I messaged the hotel, they sent the email address of the department to email - only when I asked that they internally forward was it done. It seems that most of departments working well but not together - one wonders where the Captain of the ship is.

One Bedroom Residence: spacious, with full operational kitchen, fridge, washing machine + dryer. Separate living room and bedroom with slide doors to fully divide the space. Ideal for a travelling parent (working at evening while kid in bed). Location is great; after whole day time activities in Osaka (or nearby excursion), there are plenty of great food selections nearby; so the after-dinner walking back is not a burden.

Breakfast selection is sufficiently good for 5-star hotel, but can improve by more variety.

Our family stayed in a two-bedroom corner family suite on the 30th floor. The master (King size bed) bedroom had a full modern bath/ shower/ bidet attached. The second bedroom had a full size and twin bed with a very roomy shower attached. the main hall leading from the entrance to the sitting area had a toilet room with sink and large counter space for toiletries. IHG’s location was amazing! With just a short walk from Osaka Station, we had easy access to restaurants, shops, and quick travel to surrounding areas like Nara and Kobe. Our family suite had a gorgeous corner view of Osaka that our younger boys (8, 11) loved it as well!

Some of the furniture in our sitting area and the carpet looked to have some small spot stains here and there. The under side of the desk chair (cloth) was falling apart…for almost $1000/ night for the family suite, I would expect the aesthetic to be better, but it didn’t ruin our impression of the suite.

The hotel is located a 5-minute walk from JR Osaka Train Station. The room was, quiet, very clean and really comfortable, with great views of the city skyline. The breakfast was tasty, with a good selection of foods. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We appreciated a lot the fact that they offered a gift for my husband's birthday (nice chocolates and a bottle of wine). We really felt welcomed.

This hotel was gorgeous! Felt brand new, had great views of Osaka, and had so many amenities. The pool/gym/bath house were excellent, the staff treated us fantastically, and we were not far from so many amazing experiences in the city. Plus, their restaurant, Pierre, was one of the absolute best meals I’ve ever had/

Luxurious accommodation from floor layout, bathroom, and bedroom. the facilities were superb if you enjoy exercising and some R&R. The premium price is matched with premium service and excellent facilities.

The bidet appeared to be an older model. I recently stayed at another hotel in Osaka and the bidet was a lot more advanced, comfortable and options such as water temperature and selection of music/tunes.
