Great location within walking distance of Osaka Umeda, took only a couple of stops to reach after getting the bullet train from Tokyo and was easy to get to Kyoto afterwards. Close to shopping centres and restaurants, right next to the Hep5 Ferris Wheel. Easy transport links to Dontoburi etc. Room was very clean and spacious and cleaned every day. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Powerful hot shower. Wifi was strong - could even access it from across the street. Great base for exploring Osaka and rooms were of a higher standard than I'd typically expect from an IBIS hotel, and decor looks new and modern.

Some tv channels in English other than the news would benefit international visitors.

The staff went above and beyond in every situation. When I booked, I requested assistance sourcing birthday candles for my 7yo's breakfast, and instead they produced a beautiful, personalised cake plate, and decorated our room with balloons and little treats for her (and my son!). They also helped us book a taxi to the airport with minimal fuss. The location was fantastic too, with a private Whity entrance that made everything super convenient.

Rooms were tiny, but well designed. No coin operated laundry was a pain as the laundry service was very expensive for a family of 4.

It's conveniently located near Osaka/Umeda station however, there are too many different operators it was quite confusing. It took me a while to locate the hotel and each time I went out and came back I had problem locating the exit from the subway station. For the benefit of other travelers don't bother to look for the underground exit unless you are very familiar with the location. Just exit thru Osaka Umeda station and look for Hanyu Grand Building and Hanyu Building then turn left from the side exit, cross the road, turn right and turn left and walk for about 100m you can locate the hotel.

They assisted in organising our luggage transport to our next hotel. - Strategically located near Osaka Umeda Station. - At the entrance of the hotel , there is a lift to the underground level which connects to the huge Osaka Umeda Station, which also has lots of restaurants and shops.

Excellent location. Elevator in the building takes you down to Umeda station, a good train station to go to all areas of Osaka - you don’t even need to go outside to reach the station. Convenience store is across the road & money exchange located in building. Staff are very friendly & room is clean.

There is no washing machines located in the building or nearby. A 16 minute walk to the nearest laundromat. Building would benefit from a coin operated washing machine & dryer.

The location was great! the hotel had its own entrance into the mall connected to the metro. That mall itself is a labyrinth, but we figured it out fairly quickly. The Room was clean and the window was facing Hep five Ferris wheel. Staff was very nice and accommodating, they provided us with some umbrellas so that we can stay dry and still explore. We did not opt for the breakfast

There is not much to complain about. The room was a little tight. To be somewhat expected in this region/budget.

Many reviews state that this hotel is good for non-Japanese guests, and as an American, it was a great hotel for me. The hotel is very close to the Umeda station. The staff spoke English very well. My room and the lobby had many free products that are unusual in American hotels, like a new toothbrush and toothpaste every day, as well as pajamas. I was traveling around Japan for a long time and needed a hotel that fit into a budget, and this definitely worked for me. If you have children or large luggage, you may need to pay for a bigger room, but if you are a solo traveler, it's great.

I didn't pre-pay for the breakfast or pay when I got there because it seemed expensive.

We just stayed here for one night before departure home. The room was small but nice. Breakfast superb. The location is on a busi street but in the room it was quiet. We could store our language on arrival and departure day. They are trying to get rid of one way plastic, what we loved. There is a direct train to the Kansai airport from Osaka station, usable by JR Pass. For the way to the Plattform you need to go all the way through Osaka station, plan 15 min.

We would have loved to use the lobby/restaurant during the afternoon for a short break, but it was not available.

Modern atmosphere. Chick design. Friendly staff. Buffet Breakfast is great but not included... costs about 10usd, I really advise to buy it and drink a flat white ;) . Location is great in a vibrant neighborhood and annex to a shopping mall and metro station and jr station. Please be advised it is very easy to reach it out but it is also very easy to get lost. Our clue was always to look for "Whithy" shopping mall and we reduce our chances to get lost.

Bathroom is kind of small but is OK.

The hotel room was very clean, staff was friendly and the location was excellent. There is a separate lift at the hotel lobby that link to B1 which is connected to the underground mall and the 6 lines (subway, hankyu railway, JR station) within walking distance. It is located at the east side of whity mall ( a few walking distance away from the 3 coin shop - same side).

Everything was good. If really want to mention, it might be just that the size of the room is a bit small. But overall good enough to place 2 piece of luggages on the floor.
