The food was good

I didn’t like the fact that we were told we have to pay $250.00 a day for a cabana with the mattress. I didn’t like eating in all the restaurants without air conditioning and sweating in my nice clothes. I didn’t like that they don’t have anyplace to hold shows and entertainment. It’s a beautiful property but they need to stress the fact on their website about all these issues especially after paying for an all inclusive week and trying to make us pay $250.00 for a cabana that should be included. We had to go outside the property to a restaurant and spend an additional $300.00 for dinner and a show that the resort couldn’t offer. Very very sad

Excellent service, always with a smile. Loved the Nespresso bar. Main food buffet very good. Beautiful beach.

An extremely loud outside event that was held right in the middle of the resort one evening.

The Reserve restaurant was lovely, we really enjoyed the meals there. The levels of service from the staff were exceptionally high. Rooms were acceptable but the service was a little hit and miss- one day our mini bar was not re stocked.

The overall level of food was ok. It lacked seasoning and choice particularly in the speciality restaurants.

We loved most of the staff at Paradisus. They were also so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. We felt as all most all of our needs were handle and if we were having any problems, the staff was quick to find a solution. We have special mentions for the staff: at Enzo, Deniss, Rafael, Ventura, and Rodrigo really put in extra work to make our honeymoon extraordinary. On the beach Julio Castro was an amazing safeguard, showing us all of the mama turtles and baby turtles on the beach. Lastly at the pool bar, Samuel, MAURO, Antonio, and Asuncion made sure we had a great time as we bathed in the sure and swam in the pool. We would like to thank them all for their services and smiles.

We didn't like that we saw roaches on the premises and also that our room was flooded during the hurricane. We understand that hurricanes are unpredictable and uncontrollable, but have better door sills would have helped to keep the wind and water out of our room.

Staff was great. The hotel was good. We did the reserve and the helped with maneuvering the stay. Food was different and quite an experience. I would definitely come back with my children.

Remember to bring smaller bills for tipping because they expect tips every where we went so smaller bills will be helpful. Something kept biting us not sure what it was.

Need better directions getting around the compound. Definitely need better chef! Food is not great! No flavor especially pool restaurants! also need activities in the day to make the hotel fun! Too boring! If the hotel have fun things day and night with great tasting food it will be perfect!!

Could not fault the staff they are super friendly and welcoming and actually made the experience even better than I thought. Food was nice but tried different restaurants and didnt enjoy it in the end stuck to the main restaurant which was good, breakfast I mostly enjoyed lots of variety. Drinks were great for an all inclusive too proper alcohol that wasnt the watered down stuff

Must admit we did compain about the room. The hotel is so lovely as a whole that when we got in our room it was a let down. It comes down to the fact its outdated, its clean to a point but just needs some renovation thanks to Nora for being so patient with us and changing our rooms. Anyway this didnt spoil our experience as everything else was spot on. I will come back again

The hotel facilities are amazing - it feels like you are in a forest with all the plants inside. The pool is incredible, enormous and never felt busy. The staff in the pool bar always super friendly. The food was delicious and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we had while traveling.

The concierge staff that pretends to be your friend just to get you to book their extra services - don’t buy into it. Also, we specifically booked a room with two double beds for 2 adults and 2 children, but on check in the hotel wanted to give us a room with one king size bed. We did not accept it and the reception staff did not apologize and made us feel really bad that they had to search another room for us - we had to wait for an hour until they ‘found’ another room out of the hundreds they have. The rooms that have not yet been renovated are in an ok state; the frigobar in our room wasn’t working but they promptly replaced it when we asked. They should not charge for the beds around the pool, as there is not enough of the ‘normal’ sun hairs for everyone.
