HELLO, Excellent staff very friendly and helpful and welcoming. Morning breakfast had options available a Continental breakfast and a hot breakfast. The reception area is spacious and has a sitting area and a bar to order drinks and they had a vending machine for cold drinks and snacks.My room is amazing a spacious room a big bathroom and washing products available. And also provide tea bags and instant coffee sachets for guests to use during their stay. It was my first time staying at a "Holiday Inn Express Hotel"!!. I was very impressed . Thank-you for making my stay memorable.

Excellent check in thanks to the young man on reception who clearly enjoys his work and is extremely good at it. Well done to him. Room was spotless with everything we needed for our short stay. Excellent value for money. We didn’t make breakfast but given it was included in the price the menu looked great value.

Only two small points - food wasn’t available after 9 pm apart from a very limited room menu - mainly pizza. Main issue for us was a basic error often made, in that double quilts are used on a double bed leaving them very short when two adults (not overweight I might add as god help anyone who is) are in bed and ‘dare’ to turn over…… I had to get a bath towel half way through the night to cover the gap on my side of the bed as I felt quite cold. My personal rule of thumb has always been - a quilt size “larger” than the bed must be used.

Breakfast excellent lots of choice, had a lovely toastie sandwich on arrival. Nice setting, rooms very well equipped especially the iron, shower amazing and beds so comfy slept well. Got checked in early. Staff excellent, polite, very helpful especially when we where panicking about our daughter driving in and out to pick us up drop us off for her graduation? Parking ticket. Staff advised few mins drop off grace allowed. Again staff giving directions and travel methods back to airport. Would definitely return and certainly recommend.

Tiled floors in reception and food area a bit sticky to walk on, possibly too much detergent.

Just a note that wasn't an issue as had my husband with us but didn't like the room number being broadcast to the whole foyer on checking in ...mindful that it is somewhat dangerous for lone women or women with their children to have this information in the public domain ...a few customers were sitting in foyer enjoying a drink as the bar area is same space as foyer so would have heard our room number, we certainly heard others whilst sitting there later in the evening...maybe worth thinking about for future.

The room was very clean,warm and comfortable. The towels and bedding were nice and white. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. I also liked the Dove soaps in the bathroom. We were 4 adults travelling together and had 2 rooms. Everyone was more than happy with the choice of hotel.

I didn't like the pillows very much ( but then I rarely ever do) . One was too low but two together was too high. I didn't notice the sign saying about change of pillows until too late. ( My own fault). I didn't think the dinner menu was very good in the restaurant.

The location was good, not too far from the airport. There was enough choice of cold and hot breakfast and it was hot and clean. Plenty of cutlery.

It’s was just my experience as l landed very late, and luckily my friends stayed with me till l could get in. The door was locked, so l didn’t know if there was anyone on reception, and if it was still open. If l had been on my own l would have panicked. We did press the buzzer, unfortunately we caught the receptionist on a call of nature. But if they could put a sign up to say they are still open or something to let you know they are 24hour receptionist.

No variation in breakfast - always scrambled egg, cumberland sausage, etc Room was adjacent to the lift so lift messages could be heard every night and every morning Had to hand over cleaning materials to reception that had been left in my room and request tissue refill that had been left empty after I had used the only 2 tissues available the previous day and spare toilet roll had not been replaced Parking was advertised as ''from £10/day'' - staying a week I had hoped for discount but still had to pay same rate

A very welcoming arrival. All staff and especially David, the Manager, were very helpful and super friendly. The room was warm, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Pillows could be changed for softness/firmness/ comfort and even could request small toiletry items if needed. The complimentary breakfast was very welcoming at 4 am for an early flight (continental up to 6.30 am) and plenty of choice. Do not book a taxi if travelling to the airport, buses run from outside on a regular basis for £2 pp and reception can track when the next bus is due. We would have stayed longer if staying in the area. We couldn't fault anything. Well done Holiday Inn Express Castle Donnington. 👍

Convenient to airport, spotlessly clean, friendly and very helpful staff, nothing too much trouble for them. All were very obliging. Good food friendly service and good selection on the menu.

There was nothing I didn’t like everything was perfect. We had a bad experience at another establishment we had just stayed at so it was such a pleasant contrast at the Holiday Inn. Thanks to all the very pleasant staff we had a lovely relaxing stay there.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and so welcoming. After a pretty awful journey to get here we were greeted with a smile and they just couldn’t do enough to make sure we had all we needed. I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service we received

My only negative comment is that it’s cashless and coming with only cash I was in a bit of a panic however they were so helpful and gave me time to contact family and sort payment for the room allowing us to go and get settled whilst we sorted payment etc.
