We were very well attended. Because the ground floor is a restaurant, there is always someone around to help when needed. They even gave us another room when we arrived and they thought it would better fit our expectations. Always interested in our plans and we were overloaded with good tips to avoid the crowd on our visits. Funny and "Sympa". We recommend the Restaurant, French cuisine with a surprising touch.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare. Even with suggestions of the owners, it was hard. But we were there in the week of the famous Medieval fair, a lot of parking space was not available. In the end we managed to park in the neigbourhood.

Duchesse Anne is a quirky boutique hotel, an excellent choice in Dinan, being well located for all the sights with easy parking. You will receive a warm welcome here, and enjoy a relaxed atmoshere in the comfortable lounge/restaurant downstairs. The food is excellent, patron and chef Christoph ensures that guests receive his full attention, and the cameraderi among the staff is infectious. We had a 10 day holiday in Brittany and returned 3 times to Duchesse Anne as nowhere else compared.

Christoph welcomed us with friendly chat and a warm smile and grabbed us a beer and water which was welcome after our 90 mile ride from Vannes. Bikes stored securely. Super hot shower, comfy bed, crisp sheets & the restaurant is cosy and eccletic, a mix of England & France. We had the tasty set menu & Christoph had ready early coffees for us before we left for the ferry. We shall return again! A wonderful stay! Thankyou Team Christoph!

There is nothing not to like !

The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of the town a few steps from all the streets of half timbered houses, with parking opposite. The welcome from Christophe was incredible, what a charming and friendly guy. We ate one evening at the restaurant and had a great meal and lovely wine recommendation. Room was simple, really clean and great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely lovely stay. Family room is large (its 2 double beds and a single bed in one bedroom and an other double bedroom), location is perfect to explore the old town and easy for parking. Breakfast was delicious and the host Christoff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Perfect for a family of 5 for a short stay before getting the ferry from Saint Malo home. We had a door we could lock and within this, we had our own bathroom, a separate room for the children with a bed each and a separate room for the adults with a double bed.

Our room at Duchesse Anne was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The owner is very nice and looked after us during our stay. Nice breakfast of fresh croissant and pain au chocolat. Didn't get to try the restaurant as it was closed on the day we stayed.

On the outskirts of the old town. Easy walk in. Car parked opposite. Owners incredibly sympathetic. Good choice of “digestifs” for an after meal drink. Really comfortable bed and, unexpectedly, shower in the room. Great find!

The ventilation from the kitchen is the only negative point. Once that was over, silence reigned and the window was open again.

Love Christophe (the owner), always a great welcome and made to feel at home.

If only the restaurant was open on Sunday evening🥴, however Christophe recommended an alternative just a few minute’s walk away which was enjoyable😊

Hosts were really friendly, the location is brilliant and and we had a lovely continental breakfast.

The rooms are very basic/dated and could do with an upgrade but for the price it was good value for money.
