The property surpassed our expectations as frequent travelers. The standout feature was the communal area near the reception, which far exceeded what hotels and apartment hotels typically offer. It boasts a spacious area where you can dine or even cook in an open-plan kitchen. There's also a large playroom with a pool table, plenty of children's books and games, a piano, and two additional lounge areas furnished with sofas, games, and books, creating a cozy living room vibe. All of this was in addition to the spacious rooms/apartments we stayed in. Of course the location was perfect.

The only mild issue was I don't know why the day time receptionist was less happy. I don't know whether I annoyed her when I asked to leave one additional box with my suitcase after I checked out, or that I stayed on in the common area for an hour with my friend and his parents. Our friend was also staying in the hotel with us. We were in the common area for an hour waiting for our lunch appointment.

The Adagio is well located near the Grand Place and walking distance from the stations. Rooms were very quiet and we slept well, even with the football event on Saturday night. Breakfast was fine for our needs. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi was good and the space on the ground floor was nice on our last afternoon too. A meal at Gingko next door was a highlight of our stay too.

Rooms were functional but a bit "student like" if we are honest. Our shower needed unblocking (which was done on request). Staying for 5 nights meant that not having our room serviced was inconvenient. Price was high for what we received at €200+ per night.

The hotel is a good location. It took roughly 15 minutes to walk from the Eurostar station. The hotel was clean, tidy, and nicely decorated.The staff were very friendly and helpful. They explained how everything worked very clearly. The room was great. It was a great size. It had a hall area where the bathroom was and cupboard for hanging clothes. Then another door which leads to the bedroom and kitchenette area. The kitchenette was well equipped. There was all you could need to cook and eat. It was clean, and there was washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, and a tea towel. The double bed was roomy and comfortable. It was very quiet in the room, especially with the internal door shut. We didn't have breakfast, but it looked nice. I will definitely book a ApartHotel again.

My only complaint was that the pillows were not great. I prefer a more firm pillow.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Aparthotel Adagio Lille Centre Grand Place, and it was a great experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The location of the hotel is perfect, situated in the heart of Lille, just a short walk from the Grand Place and other major attractions. The apartment I stayed in was modern, and impeccably clean. It had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, which was a great convenience. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. Overall, my stay at Aparthotel Adagio Lille Centre Grand Place was great and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lille. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel provides a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service.

A few more towels would have been nice

Extremely welcoming staff. Arrived early, they held our luggage so we could enjoy ourselves in the city. This is a hidden gem, quiet and peaceful. Simple but more than adequate breakfast. Provided gluten-free rolls and muffins (but I did email in advance). Kitchen was well equipped even though we really only used the fridge, crockery and cutlery. We both agreed we would happy stay here again as it was only a 15-20min walk from the station and easy walking distance to everything else. Will look for this chain in other cities now.

GF rolls baked one day, 2nd day not. They are way better baked.

The property, studio flat, was great - couldn't have asked for better. Studio unit was a generous sized space, spotlessly clean and comfortable, good kitchenette facilities - easily able to self cater. Large comfortable bed and large bathroom. Coffee shop/breakfast area very spacey, well stocked with ample selection of hot and cold food for a breakfast choice. Atmosphere was calm and comfortable. Social area with variety of games and books to enjoy. Staff absolutely delightful, helpful and good humoured. We were safely able to leave our luggage earlier than check in, enabling us to use our first day sightseeing with freedom. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Great central location, room was a great size and the tiny kitchen was super well stocked with utensils. Despite being central, was quiet inside. Staff were friendly and it was great this was pet friendly.

Initially when booking hotels lists free parking is available. Once booked I discovered this was not the case. There is no parking. Hotel staff messaged me to use a car park that's about a 6 min walk away and is paid. However on the day it was impossible to actually use it due to volume of traffic so we spent an hour looking for parking and found a spot in a different car park nearby.

The apartment was spacious for the three of us. It was clean and had enough equipment for cooking if you needed it. The communal areas were light and bright and we used it to play board games that were on offer. It had a pool table as well. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great location for access to restaurants; railway stations; old part of Lille.

Nothing to dislike. We hadn't paid for the breakfast as this was a bit pricey (€16 each) but no different from other hotel prices. However this did mean we explored the surrounding area and there are plenty of boulangeries...maison paillon was very good.

We had an apartment on the top floor in the corner and it was lovely and quiet. The apartment was spotless on arrival. It was nice to be welcomed on arrival at reception. There is a room for rubbish on each floor so you can get rid of anything during the stay very easily. There is a laundry downstairs, although we did not use that. You could have breakfast there if you wanted. I liked having a separate toilet from the shower room. There was a hob and microwave for cooking, and a dishwasher. There was a boulangerie opposite and a supermarket about 5 minutes away. Wonderful location, very central so you could walk to most places. The metro was very close, and the tourist office just round the corner!

The only thing I would have liked was an oven as well as the hob and microwave, but I think that it is quite common not to have an oven in holiday apartments.

All the security of a hotel but also the freedom of an apartment. We enjoyed having the kitchen to make our own breakfast. It had all the equipment you need including a clean tea towel and brand new dish sponge/scrubber. The full-sized fridge was very useful. No-one cleans the room during your stay so it is very private. Clean towels are available on request and I asked for and received an extra pillow at reception. The beds were very comfortable and the room including the bathroom was very clean and well maintained.

A toaster would have been appreciated. You can borrow one but the hotel only has two and they were already on loan.
