Everything was more than up to my expectations. Fantastic historical place in a very stylish accomodation. The room is quite spacious and there is another stunning shared living room area. The entire place is hugely tastefully decorated to the detail. Bed was very confortable plus bedroom very quiet. It is located in the best neighborhood in Lyon, walking distant from many historical buildings and great restaurants. The host Agnes plus her husband were very nice and kind, giving me useful tips about best places to visit. Definable coming back again in next visits to lovely Lyon

Huge room, tastefully and interestingly decorated, with beautiful tile floors and high ceilings. Agnes included many thoughtful details, like leaving fruit, baked goods, cold drinks in our room, and a coffee/tea station available in the lobby, and many comforts of home to make the stay enjoyable.

The room was a little warm in June so it was necessary to keep it dark with the shutters shut, but this is from my North American perspective where we use too much air conditioning. There was a fan in the room which was very helpful.

The room was a huge one in an old building full of character. We were traveling with another couple and had the only two rooms on the floor sharing a lovely sitting room. Each bedroom had it's own large bathroom with bath and separate shower, separate toilet. Close to cafes/bars, shops and old town. Host was lovely and extremely helpful.

No air con. But expected in old building. Bigger pillows would have been good but appreciate that's a personal thing.

Located in the Presquile, between the 2 rivers, this apartment has an excellent location, with Vieux Lyon about a kilometer away in one direction and the more contemporary shopping areas about 10 minutes in the other. The apartment itself is lovely- spacious, well furnished with plenty of space and a comfortable good-sized bed Agnes, the owner, stays in the same apartment but you have all the privacy you want There is a common area with tea and coffee making facilities as well

The place is absolutely beautiful, 12 foot ceilings, restored building 150 years old. The location was exceptional, we walked everywhere. Agnes was a gracious host who made us feel very welcome and her English is very good, important since our French consists of a few important words and phrases. High quality towels and bed linens and spotless.

France’s summer was exceptionally hot, AC would have been nice, but, it may not be feasible in such an old building. Nights were cool enough that, with open windows, we slept well. A minor glitch was that the closed captioning on the tv wouldn’t provide us with English subtitles.

The room was large and very comfortable and had beautiful decor. Comfortable large bed. The host was very kind and available if we had questions. Shared guest lounge was lovely and very French! Lift access. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Wifi signal was slow if you needed it for business.

It was a very unusual space but quite large, very attractive and comfortable. The host was very friendly and accommodating. She had good recommendations for food and shopping and helpful information regarding transportation to our train station. Would definitely return there to stay if we were back in that area.

Agnes gave us a warm welcome to her delightful apartment. We loved the quiet convenient location and our spacious comfortable room and will certainly highly recommend this to anyone visiting Lyon.

We got a very warm welcome and a lot of helpful information, the room was lovely and very well located for all that we wanted to do.

There was no air con but a fan was available and the room cooled quickly with the window open. Breakfast not included but we found a very good cafe a very short walk away.

Excellent guest house situated close to Lyon Perrache train station. The bedroom was huge, nice touch to have a fridge in the room, with water and OJ, plus little snacks! Large comfy bed and tea/coffee making facilities in the common area. Highly recommended!
