Location was excellent. Hotel is located on the Place Carnot with lots of great food and drink options within walking distance. It is also right next to the Lyon-Perrace Gare Routiere, a major public transport hub for the metro, trams, buses and trains. Super friendly staff that were multilingual. Breakfast was a buffet not included in the room rate but could be purchased for 14.90 Euro through the front desk,

The Wifi was spotty at best. Even though it said it woul remember you log-in, I had to log-in every morning and anytime I left the hotel. Room was small but comfy. Bathroom was tiny. I'm 6'0" and 175. When sitting on the toilet, my knees almost hit the wall in front of it. No safe in the room for valuables.

We arrived at 11 pm for our first visit 2024 Feb 01 to a friendly welcome from the night receptionist. The hotel is on the north side of Lyon Perrache train station, on the elegant Place Carnot - one minute on foot from trains, trams, buses and metro. The hotel is recently renovated, and everything is classy and super clean. Luxury hot shower, a coffee machine in the room, and a good sleep between clean sheets and quilt. I feel lucky to have spent 4 nights here in the wonderful city of Lyon.

I can't think of anything I would change in this hotel.

The hotel is located right at the metro and therefore, good to reach. The sights are also not too far away and easy to reach via Metro. Restaurants were nearby as well. Everything was clean and the room itself had a decent size. What I like best was the super friendly staff and the amazing playlist played by the receptionist.

The rooms were not very modern but a bit oldish and the bathroom was extremely small.

The Hotel was very nice, very quiet and sober, and with a kind staff. The position was close enough to the center and especially was really near to the river, just 2 minutes by walk; also you got lots of cafè and bar close to you, so if you're tired after a long-walking day...don't worry! You only need to take the elevator!

Most of the staff was kind, except one of the receptionist, maybe too upset in front of english questions...but it's okay, just learn english better! The one and only problem was a very big station in front of the Hotel; during the day was really quiet, but if you're waling through the night...open up your eyes!

Location and proximity to Perrashe station. Room comfortable and clean. Very nice breakfast. Comfortable bed and pillows.

It would be good to have a small refrigerator. There is no door on the shower, so water goes all over the floor. It is therefore impossible to reuse the towels as suggested because they have to be used to mop the floor.

It was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was very well placed for public transport and places to eat.

I booked one triple room and two twin rooms, however my friends thought that the twin room were a bit small, but they were good enough for a one or two night stay.

I liked the position, very close to the Perrache station and very quiet. I liked the room clean and cosy with a comfortable bed. The Breakfast was excellent, self-service and rich in food.

Probably, the Cappuccino was not perfect but could be easily replaced by other drinks... besides that, I cannot find other things that I did not like about my stay at Hotel Des Remparts Perrache

Beautiful, bright room; felt homely. Friendly staff. The location was fantastic: the excellent Chez Micheline restaurant was across the square; Lyon Perrache station was 30 seconds away, Vieux Lyon was a pleasant 15-minute walk, the Musée des Beaux-Arts was an equally pleasant 25-minute walk - all through streets you'll want to stop and savour. There are restaurants everywhere - but it's worth walking to the good ones (e.g. Fiston on rue Mercière). Didn't eat breakfast so can't tell you about it.

The hotel's location is central and close to the tram station. The neighborhood is quite yet there are bars and restaurants around. The staff was very accommodating, the room has all the necessities and was very clean, big plus the bed was super comfortable! For the price standards of Lyon it is fairly priced.

Nothing, everything and everyone was great!

The staff were the nicest, friendliest and most efficient young people ever. They made the stay so much more enjoyable than it would otherwise have been. I had an apartment with 2 single beds and a sofa bed. plenty of space and a really good sized bathroom. They had tea, coffee and milk and a lovely goodie basket with snacks. Changing my stay in July to stay there again.
