The staff were very friendly and very helpful with our bags. As there was no lift, they generously carried our bags up to our room which we were very appreciative of. The room, the bed and the bathroom were unexpectedly small but we adapted. However, if you are 6 feet or taller we would recommend you enquire into organising something for your needs. The location is great, only a 5-7 minute walk from the train station. The surrounding area is beautiful to work around and the variety of restaurants was amazing.

The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. They had get suggestions and answers for our every question and dilemma. The breakfast was a lovely continental with thoughtful touches and a friendly and welcoming staff. I tried to book a night prior to my return flight- but they were booked. Yet, the staff continued to try to accommodate me, even by calling a "sister" property- it was so gracious of them!

Close to train and local transport and in a quiet location. Short walk to old town . Staff and management very friendly. Good breakfast in relaxed environment. We enjoyed our 3 night stay.

Hair dryer was old and didn’t work. Rooms are being renovated so should improve.

A comfortable and we'll located hotel - great value for money. Staff are AWESOME - nothing was too much trouble, so helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty - bar lounge available for drinks and coffee, a lovely setting to relax. Thanks particularly to Massimo - he is amazing - thanks for looking after us 😊

Super-friendly desk staff, always very polite and cheerful, and happy to provide suggestions and recommendations. The bed was comfortable and the room had enough space for myself. Very convenient location for public transport as well.

The shower cubicle is comically small - I had to step in sideways because the entry to the shower isn't much more than a foot wide, and every time I turned around I bumped the tap handle with my elbow or hip and accidentally turned it off! But more funny than irritating, not a big deal. :) Some of the fittings are generally quite old but everything still works.

The room was spacious and clean. The location is walkable to important attractions and the staff are friendly and helpful

The hotel looks exactly like it does on the pictures! It is very close to everything you want to see/visit in Lyon. And it's close to a big metro station, in case ypu prefer to go by public transport :) The staff is very caring and nice! The price&value is incledible in comparison to most double bedrooms in europe! The soap smelled super nice and the towels were clean and fluffy. Breakfast looks delicious and offers a great variety!

minor critique: There was no space to lay clothing in the wardrobe - only hanging The bathroom is simple but was perfectly fine for us :)

I booked a room in this hotel to visit the city on the weekend, with one of my friends. We had a great time! The hotel is within walking distance of the metro, and the main avenue of Lyon. In addition, the hotel gave us a discount to park our car a few meters away in a public parking lot. Everyone at the reception was super nice, and they left a welcome note in our room when we arrived.

What I didn't like was having some "old style" things in the room, like the hair dryer a bit complicated to use and a not new generation bidet (even if in France it is really difficult to see them)

The service was kind, friendly and very helpful. Especially their English was very fluent.
