Great location close to the railway station. Old-time atmosphere. Clean and spacious room with coffee machine. Basic-type breakfast served in a beautiful hall.

Quite pricey room. Rooms and part of the common areas decorated in 00-style clashing the nice historical atmosphere. Some background music would be nice in the lobby. No slippers included. Reception many times unattended and guests need to wait/call behind the locked front door.

Room was clean, relatively spacious and comfortable. The blackout curtains were very effective and the room was very quiet at night. Location is handy for both the station and the main square. The staff were absolutely fantastic without exception and really added to our enjoyment - I can't praise them highly enough. We didn't eat there so I can't comment on those facilities. The lobby/bar is very period and one of the best I've seen.

Beds were a little firm so it would depend on your preference. I liked them but my wife prefers something softer! The entrance is unfortunately in a bit of a back street but fantastic when you get inside!

The location was only a few minutes walk from the station and from the Place de la Comedie. The hotel reception area was very pleasant and cool with view into the garden, where meals could be taken. Staff very welcoming and helpful. The outdoor swimming pool was very clean and pleasant to use on a hot day. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

Breakfast and dinner were quite expensive in the hotel restaurant. We opted for the cheaper Express breakfast taken in the garden. The hotel advertised tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom, but there was only a coffee machine with no instructions how to use it! Being english we would have preferred a kettle to make tea and proper cups rather than paper ones.

Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Within 5 to 10 mnute walk is train station, main tram stop, center of city, tourist Information, supermarket, large shopping center and multiple eating places in a hugh range of styles and price ranges. As we have stayed here before we were upgraded to a suite from our booked standard room, which would have been perfety fine, but the suite was nearly twice the size with views so would be a consideration to book if we stay again. The hotel has retained some very attractive original features such as the old "French style" elevator next to the new modern elevators. It has a lovely outdoor pool and garden area. The desk staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. The building is lovely. A very nice swimming pool to relax after a day in the city. The location close to the train station (2 minutes) is an absolute plus. Two minutes to the train station and hardly 5 minutes to the Place de la Comedie. Great.

When travelling with 2 persons, the place in cupboards might be a challenge. Even with 1 person the room had very limited storage place. But this was not that big an issue compared to the advantages the hotel offers.

Great location to reach the old town, you can reach everything easily by foot or tram. The room was amazing, very clean and comfy. Especially the seating area in the room was well equipped. Great shower/bathroom as well. Staff was super friendly and attentive.

We understand that it is not easy nowadays to provide eco-friendly solutions for glasses and cups and paper cups are a good solution for this and that. But for the bathroom or to enjoy a coffee in the room porcelan or glas equipment would be a nicer solution.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff could be more helpful with finding a parking for the car.

I put in the filter "parking" because I came with a car. The hotel advertised parking, but when I booked a room (non-refundable") they told me they have a parking, but it is full. This means, that from my point of view, the parking was not existent. I found a public parking, which was 15 min walk from the hotel (heat, luggage). If I knew that, I would have booked another hotel. I think that Booking.com should NOT allow hotels to advertise a parking, if it is full, unless there is a public parking not more than 2 min walk away.

Beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The pool was refreshing and the breakfast was in a very pleasant room.

Getting to the hotel was a challenge with the parking being very awkward to get to. Staff were helpful when I phoned but I had to call more than once. When I asked about extra coffee cream I was told to ask at breakfast the following day. I expect to be able to have as many coffee as I like in my room and to have the 'creamer' available. The answer was not acceptable.

Excellent location, between the train station and Place de Comedie plaza. The staff was fine, very competent and friendly, though not always readily available. I suspect that, as happens in many hotels, staff is kept to a minimum, hence those on board are often overworked.

The parking situation is a bit unorthodox (more than I can explain here), but if you are driving and want a safe place to park your car, this hotel is a good choice, again considering its central location.

The lady that checked us in could not have been more helpful - she really welcomed us and ensured we had everything we needed. We were 2 single ladies travelling together and booked a twin room. We kindly received an upgrade and the room was much larger than we expected.

We didn’t get to use the pool, it’s not as we expected. Also only open from 10am until 10pm. We were hoping for an early morning swim.
