Beautiful hotel located in an ancient house. Near the city center, 10min walking of the cathedral. Friendly staff. There is a shopping center at the end of the street. Spacious room with an oversized bathroom that has a jacuzzi and an automatic WC. The jacuzzi is great but it needs an exhaustive cleaning. The beds are comfy. The breakfast is ordered the day before and it is not very varied but tasty. You can park the car in the shopping center parking located 2min walking although is complicated to get there by car without indications..

It has no elevator. There is no place to park in the street to leave the luggage. At least, the one place was occupied by someone who was not from the hotel when we arrived. The street near the shopping center is quite dirty, with lots of junk and it seems unsafe to go there at night. There was an automatic WC in the bathroom but it was not working. The jacuzzi was not clean, we found several hairs from other people...

This hotel was a lovely surprise. The room was large, comfortable and welcoming. The huge bathroom had a jet bath and a Japanese toilet, something I haven’t seen for a long time. Receptionists were pleasant and helpful. Hotel access and room access is by key card. The location is less than 200m from the old centre of the city, an easy walk up hill. The room was very quiet and comfortable, a pleasant place to relax. We didn’t have breakfast there, but walked into the nearby square. We parked our motorcyle in the recommended Comédie underground parking, a short walk from the hotel. I really appreciated the directions given by the hotel when we booked - including accurate GPS coordinates. There was a €7 discount on parking, so €17 for our stay. The hotel was good value for money compared with many I’ve stayed in this year.

Better corridor lighting was needed.

The location was a real treat! Less than 2 minute walk from the Place de la Comedie. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful, knowledgable and smiley, as were the breakfasts where we had personalised choice of pastries (including pains aux raisins which most places don't do!). Our bedroom and ensuite bathroom were lovely sizes and had a lovely blend of period charm with modern features that all worked. I really liked the air con especially as there was a low noise option for night time. We noted that there were two bedrooms that lead directly onto the breakfast room which would have been noisy if guests were expecting a lie in but we were in a red, dual aspect corner room at the top right of the stairs. Highly recommended.

The Queen size bed (large double) was a wonderful size and exactly as to be expected in France, i.e. not as soft as the UK but I still slept ok.

Very pleasant modern small B&B hotel. Very pleasant and helpful young lady receptionist. Room very good [But note: modern 'wet room' wc, sink and shower room naff re-used old 10cm tiles. For some reason modern trend is for wet room showers - when most older (sensible ?) people prefer full bath with shower too. A case of naff designer led - not user led - facilities (as similarly naff as 'holes in' jeans fashion !!!)].

Bathroom (see earlier comments). Hotel diabolically inconvenient location in a (sort of) tight 'rabbit warren' of v narrow streets (old town) area at a lower level than the upper modern promenade level near the Ibis (Place Comedie level). Subterranean parking v v v awkward to access and find hotel with confusing/awkward walk (up to street 'Place Comedie' level - then down two levels of steps) to small side street leading to hotel - NOT POSSIBLE/SENSIBLE TO TRY TO STOP OR PARK AT OR NEAR FRONT OF HOTEL (Not advisable to try to drive to hotel as some streets virtually too narrow to drive along and/or go round v v tight/sharp corners). As pleasant as hotel is, would not stay again as v v awkward/inconvenient to find. Fine if on foot and walking to hotel from railway station.

This is an excellent hotel. It is situated on a quiet street, yet very near the centre of the city as well as the railway station. Also the bus to the airport is on walking distance. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the room was very well furnished with a very good bed, a wonderful bathroom and nice extras like a kettle and a minibar/fridge. Even small things, like interesting beer from small local breweries instead of the usual big brands in the minibar made us happy. Also gluten free products were available at breakfast. The hotel shows concern for the environment with double rubbish baskets and no small packages for shampoo etc. This is a hotel that we really would like to return to, and it is difficult to imagine a better stay in Montpellier.

Breakfast was maybe a bit less perfect than the rest of the stay. Not much available, and a choice between an egg and cheese was a bit strange. Also coffee had to be ordered instead of being served by yourself.

The owners were incredible and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Notifying in advance of a recent back injury, we were put in ground floor room to make easy with luggage. Had been to emergency room day before arrival and they were concerned for my comfort, even calling to arrange follow up appointment with doctor. Unable to schedule, they recommended and scheduled a chiropractor who had helped them--also helped ease severe pain for me. Breakfast was typical European breakfast and convenient in the hotel. Would highly recommend this well managed hotel-- owners and entire staff excellent. Location to train, restaurants and tourist attractions convenient and easy walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here if ever in Montpellier again.

There was nothing to dislike.

We did not have the breakfast (we do not eat before 10h00 in the morning) Location great - near the heart of the old town (200meters) and tram line. Staff all brilliant - very helpful and knowledgable. No lift (but staff assisted with luggage without us needing to request) WiFi is included. Close to station so we walked. Bed very comfortable and linen/bedding good quality.

Nothing really to complain about - asked for ice - none available (not a propblem though)

The location was great, close to the centre of Montpellier. Our room was 'Sade' so looked out onto the side street. It was very clean, quiet and had a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good, and the host Simon was very friendly, helpful and available for advice

Getting to the hotel in a car was a nightmare and stressful. There was a discount available through the hotel for the nearest car park, but we paid 34 euro for 2 nights

Fabulous location. Outstanding service. I wrote to them in advance about our dairy and glute free allergies, and they had a lovely BIO gluten free bread ready for us —which was not the case in other similar hotels in France

Even the minor point, the public Parking Comédie, 4 minutes away, worked out fine. The problem was the Parking itself. EXTREMELY narrow and ill illuminated, but this was not the fault of the Aragon Hotel.

1) Location was great - walking distance to train station and right in the centre of the old town. 2) Hotel rooms are period french, but with modern amenities for a comfortable stay. 3) Staff are friendly and helpful. 4) Breakfast is continental style with generous servings. 5) I would return for a repeat stay notwithstanding that there is no elevator in the building. The staff are ever willing to assist in carrying your suitcase and you could request for a lower floor when making your booking if stairs are an issue.
