The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. It was also warm enough for the cold winter.

We were initially given a room that was different from the one we booked online. The room looked a lot more cheaper so I went to the front desk to complain. At first, the concierge was hesitant to offer me another room telling me that the hotel was full but since I insisted that it wasn't what I expected from the amount I paid then he took another look to find another room. I don't have to mention this in the review but its just not cool when hotels or bnbs post false advertisement.

Small hotel but the room was large and the bed was really comfortable. TV and Wifi worked well. Didn't test them out, but the room also came with a kettle and some tea/coffee. The staff were really friendly and let us leave bags at the reception both before and after our stay so we could go sightseeing (bonus: there was a very sweet cat hanging around reception!). The desk is 24 hours so we could come and go as we pleased. Close enough to walk to the Eiffel Tower and plenty of nice shops and boulangeries nearby.

The bathroom door doesn't quite cover the space for it (as in, there are little cracks where you can peek in) and was made of glass so it didn't really feel that seperated from the room - as we stayed as a couple, this wasn't a huge deal, but might be a bit awkward if you were sharing with a friend. The shower basically turned the bathroom into a wet room, so be prepared to use a couple of extra towels to clean that up.

Everything was as described. You get what you see. The hotel is accessible by metros and a 20 min walk from tour Eiffel. The staff is helpful, kind and warm. The room was clean and had enough space for two. There was tea and a kettle in the room. There was also a safe in the garderobe. The room was tidied every day and towels were changed upon request. The neighbourhood is tranquil and with nice boulangeries around. After long days roaming through the city, the room was great for a long night's sleep.

I wouldn't say I liked the fact I had to leave the key every time we got out. Although the reception was open 24 hours, I would have preferred to keep it with me.

Perfect location to explore the western portion of Paris' core districts, with subway just a few hundred metres from the hotel. Lovely neighbourhood with a number of small restaurants and bakeries of you do not go for breakfast at the hotel (which is abundant and superb). Rooms are quiet and well furnished. Staff is super kind and will make the best to facilitate your plans in town.

The first night it was not easy to manage room temperature (it was -6°C outside and the city is implementing the 'sobriété energétique' plan, which is good for the environment but requires some adaptations when arriving from warmer places). The second night things were more under control.

The whole staff was very competent and helpful. Our room was cleaned and perfectly set in order each day. The drying rack in the bathroom was extremely helpful. It was great having a little elevator and a convenient breakfast. The manager, Olivia, made it a home for us, so we rebooked another week for when we came back two weeks later. Loved the local atmosphere on Rue du Commerce and Ave. Emile-Zola. Great access to the metro.

Shower would splash out on the floor, but once you got the hang of it, it was fine. One guest was complaining about transportation. I would like to say to that person, "Trust the staff. If you haven't lived there, the staff knows more about transportation and Paris than you do."

Staying at the Amiral-Fondary Hotel was a great experience. The 15-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower was incredibly convenient, and I enjoyed the calm and safe neighborhood. There were plenty of cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, which made it easy to grab a bite or pick up essentials. I also appreciated how accessible the metro and bus stations were, making it simple to get around Paris. The hotel's cleanliness and the friendly staff added to the overall pleasant stay.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room, as this was my top priority. Also, it was much more spacious that I expected. Each day the room was cleaned by the staff and new towels could be provided upon our request. The location was also really good, with a lot of restaurants around, metro in 5 minutes.

The elevator was very small and made me feel anxious each time I was using it. I would prefer the stairs, but our room was on the 5th floor. Also, depending on the person in the reception desk, we were receiving different information about taxi fares. This was confusing to us.

The location was perfect. We could get to the Eiffel Tower within a 15-minute walk and other places like Louvre museum was accessible by subway which was very close to the hotel. Plus, the staff were friendly. I mean the day we checked out, the reception did us a favour and took care of our baggage for 4 hours, so we could go have lunch in Paris for the last time.

The only thing that was missing was a small refrigerator which absence did not make much difference in our pleasant experience.

Everything was wonderful. polite workers who allowed us to check in late in the evening. Great location 10 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. On the corner of the house there is a wonderful bakery with delicious croissants. Carrefour is 5 minutes walk. beautiful view from the window. Good shower and bed. The best option if you need to spend the night after traveling to Paris.

Amazing location..15 min walk from eifell tower and 2 min walk to metro line 10 and 8 min to line 6 which connects whole of paris Amazing value for money considering how expensive paris is.cleaned everyday..very clean towels.comfortably and spacious bed. Good size of the room. 24/7 staff available.

Had to handover keys everytime we had to go out.very old lock,keys sometimes difficult to fit to the lock..hopefully in future will have new upgraded locks No locks on the toilet.
