Staff were welcoming and helpful. Good size rooms. Clean. Hot water in shower. Nice to have breakfast included, which was good. Lovely surroundings from the back of the hostel.

Pillow was very flat but ok. Shelf would be helpful by top bunk. The other top bunk in the room had one, mine didn't. The area from metro stalingrad was not great. Worth noting that you can take metro to ricquet and the walk from there is a little more busy, so a better option as a female alone at night.

Nice big family room and en-suite - all very clean - good and generous breakfast - quiet and near the Gare du Nord which was what we needed - good value for money and we liked having access to a kitchen. Also nice to look out on so much green in Rosa Luxembourg Park which is directly behind the hostel.

The shower was mostly cold. We managed to cook in the kitchen but it was a bit tricky because there weren't many pans and there was a serious lack of crockery - could only find 2 dinner plates for the 5 of us !

It’s very nice looking, very easy to check in and out, the staff is king and the food and drinks are good quality. The rooms are clean and well arranged. For the price is a very good option.

The location, not easy to get to. The bathrooms leave a bit to be desired as sadly some people are just a bit careless. The beds and pillow are very uncomfortable, but for the value they’re okay.

If you're on a tight budget this is probably the best accomodation you'll find in Paris. Rooms are clean, wide, very warm and sound-proof, common bathrooms + showers very well kept and you even get a basic but satisfying breakfast included in the price. Position isn't very central but close to metro nr. 12. Would definitely stay again.

Wifi works well but having to constantly log in every hour or so is slightly uncomfortable. Also getting denied an extra slice of cheese (max 2 per person) at breakfast is quite odd, I do understand that they want to avoid food waste and try to keep the booking price as low as possible but still, thats a bit rude.

Very nice hostel, tasty and affordable restorant and bar. Extremly clean and skandish beautiful interior. And Bob bakery near - really tasty and affordable

Metro is near by, but a lot of strange people hanging around metro. Near hostel all fine, just need to cross that metro part quickly

I stayed three nights in a 3-bed room and was fortunate to have the whole room for myself. The bed was very comfy and even with other beds occupied it'd be spacious enough. There was a sink and a shower in the room which was handy. The toilet outside in the corridor but I find it OK especially when you share a room with others - no noise or smell. The staff was friendly and helpful. There's a store room to keep your luggage after check out. Breakfast was included

The breakfast was of poor quality and the selection was modest. The area does not feel safe with lots of youth hanging out in groups and especially the area by the metro station is full of shady people.

The small number of people in each room encourages you to get to know one another and means that there are more times when you have the space to yourself. That's really important when in communal spaces, not losing that sense of privacy! The communal spaces downstairs are comfortable but absolutely packed with people during the day as people wait for the 3pm check-in. That's fine as it's when you're out exploring usually, but it's a really comfortable space in the evenings to write or hang out.

The worst thing about the place is the shower. It requires you to press the button multiple times per session but it's honestly not such a big deal. If that's your biggest problem today, it's a great day. Would have loved a communal kitchen to cook my own food, but I guess the restaurant is pretty cheap!

I stayed there during the Olympics, but I was able to stay there relatively cheaply compared to places in the city center. I had checked the reviews of previous guests in advance, and from what I saw, the breakfast variety was limited, but the portions were sufficient and the taste was fine.

First of all, I knew this beforehand, but the inn is far from the station and the area around the inn is not very safe. You also have to bring your own soap and prepare a padlock instead of a wire as a locker key. One improvement would be to have a shared refrigerator somewhere for the convenience of guests.

This is a very large, relatively modern, hostel. We were a school group of 16 students and 3 staff and found our stay quite good. The hostel is about a 15 min walk from Gare du Nord, which we did comfortably with all our luggage. There is a metro station about 5 mins walk for trips of longer distance (no advantage from Gare du Nord). The hostel was quiet, which was a little surprising given how big it was and that there were quite a few other youth groups staying there at the same time. There is a bar in the large foyer/public area. This did not generate any rowdy behaviour during our stay. Breakfast was good but not amazing. Quite a production line! Staff were helpful.

The main issue we found was that the rooms were a bit smelly. My room smelled a bit like stale body odour. It is not that they were not clean, I am guessing the ventilation wasn't great. Others in our group mentioned this too. Whilst the location is close to transport and some shops, it is a little out of the way and one might want to be quite alert if travelling back to it late at night alone.

Breakfast was decent, staff were nice and helpful. Beds were pretty good for a hostal. Love the vending machine downstairs that has such random things that you may need or forgot to bring.

Unmaking my bed when you check out. Such an early check out at 10am and late check in and 3pm not flexible at all with that. Lots of people of all ages, kids screaming and running around the lobby. The area is terrible, coming from the 4th, this area had people hanging around all day and all night. Showers only stay on for about 10 seconds before you have to keep pushing it on again and again.
