The location and cleanliness

The property is great but when we checked in they charged us for a “new tax” that started on that day allegedly. We expected to pay the city tax but the new tax that they charged us is a surprise to us. She didn’t explain it and gave us the receipt. She just whipped her calculator and boom additional €40.

The location was great; a short walk to the Gaite Metro stop and to Rue Daguerre, a wonderful Montparnasse neighborhood street. Visit Saturday mornings. Amélie and the staff were great; very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fine. I very much liked the interior design of the hotel. The room was small, but that is often the case with Paris hotels with this price point

To be fair, the hotel had just opened. There was sufficient hot water coming out of the sink tap in the bathroom, but you had to choose only hot water for the showerhead, run it a few minutes, and out came a warm trickle. The thermostat was inconsistent; sometimes it seemed to work and sometimes not. A few times the thermostat was somehow way up when I woke up, but the room wasn't very warm. They recognized the problem with water temperature at the shower head and said they were working on it. They may have fixed the thermostat problem my last day. There seemed to be no room for drawers or closets for your clothes, just 4-6 hooks on the walls.

Very clean, nice personnel, especially lady that served breakfasts who was extremally nice and made a lot of effort to make us feel comfortable. When we arrived we were given a room with broken window, but imemdiately we received new, upgarded one.

Breakfast was nice, but monotonous. Everyday the same (crossaint, chocolate bun, jams and honey, coffee/tea + juice). We thought that it will be possible to choose from menu.

Location was great as a lot of food markets nearby and it's easy to get to Charles de Gaulle and Paris city centre by metro or bus

Room was very small and no air-conditioning. We could barely open our luggage and go around the room. Breakfast is average in portion sizes but quality breakfast with one pain au chocolate, one croissant, one small bread baguette with 2 jams, honey, one small yoghurt and hot and cold drink. So don't expect a buffet breakfast or variety but it's ok to start your day with.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and, although my sister and I have been trying our best to practice our French, it was a relief that the staff spoke exceptional English when our French failed. I wish I had taken the name of the woman who checked us in as she was delightful. Check in was very quick and easy which was a relief as we had been traveling for a long time by the time we arrived. The first thing we both noticed was how impeccably clean the hotel was. We absolutely couldn't fault it for cleanliness or comfort. The location is lovely, just outside the main bustle of Montparnasse, which is exactly what we wanted from a hotel, but a short walk to lovely bars and restaurants. We also enjoyed our stroll to the Jardin de Luxembourg despite the rainy weather. I would absolutely stay again.

Full private bathroom, extremely comfortable bed, included breakfast (basic was hot drink, croissants, yogurt & jam. Had to pay extra for anything more), quiet location with a wide variety of restaurants within walking distance. Within 10 minute walk to Gare Montparnasse station, and less than 10min to other underground stations.

Bathroom could accommodate only 1 person at a time - worked fine for my group of 2 people though.

I had no expectations - since I know how small hotelrooms ususally are - but this one was alot bigger than I expected, and the decoration was really nice, and the room was spotless (so clean). So that was amazing. The breakfast is in the "lobby", which i thought was weird at first, but it worked really well and the breakfast was great and the staff are really nice and helpful. The room was on the second floor facing the road, but there was no noise. The beds were really good, had a perfect sleep every night. So i would definetly recommend the hotel and would stay there again for sure.

There was nothing i didn´t like. One thing that would just have made it even better - would have been some cheese in the breakfast :)

Great location a few blocks from metro and with several nearby areas with restaurants. The hotel is very clean, with a modern look to the room, air conditioning and a window that opens. The breakfast had bread, pastries, yoghurt, coffee, and juice and is a great value.

I had a double bed but the room would be quite small for a couple with luggage. There was a foldout "desk" (the size of an airplane) table - just adequate as one may imagine. (An option is to work in the breakfast area in the lobby, where you could spread out).

It’s a newer property and a good location with lots of food around. It’s about a five minute walk from the metro station which is good. And also about seven minute walk from a train station.

It’s Paris, so the rooms are small, of course. Even though it’s a newer hotel, some people just have a lack of hygiene so like bad feet hahaha Breakfast options are very, very limited, mostly pastries, and very sweet options

This hotel is so lovely. The whole hotel is really well cared for, clean, modern, light, and trendy. The room was superb. Small but just what we needed. The bed overlooked a lovely window, which brought in lots of light. The bed was so comfy, with great pillows that you can sink into. The curtains ensured that we got a good nights sleep. The traditional french window open fully so we could take in the view of a lovely Parisian street. The Bathroom was well equipped, soap, shampoo and hair dryer. It was clean and modern. The location was great! I have not stayed in Montparnasse before, however it was very well stocked with bars, restaurants and the most delicious bakery’s! The metro closest to the hotel was Gaite, or Montparnasse Bienvenue. However Montparnasse Bienvenue was a huge train station, and it was very easy to get lost in! The hotel was 20 minutes on the metro from Eiffel Tower, 25 minutes on the metro from Champs-Elysee, and easy accessible to all the main sites. The neighbourhood felt clean and safe, 2 young ladies walking around it felt safe and happy to be there.
