Hôtel Ambre

Everything was good, especially the little kitchen in the room. It's so close to train station, in five minutes you can get to main attractions in the city, also there are restaurants and supermarkets around.

If you travel by car, a free parking garage just around the corner is available. The room was clean and there was even a little kitchen inside. The location is perfect. There is the metro 7 (Tolbiac) which is just around 300m reachable by foot. With the metro 7 you reach the center. Also the metro station Place d' italie is not far away. The personal is friendly and helpful.

The breakfast is good, but consists only of a croissant, yoghurt and coffee. But since it doesn't cost a lot, it's okay. You can even get free coffee after the breakfast time. If you want a more diverse and greater breakfast, consider to go eating somewhere else.

The rooms are clean and have a big new bathroom and functional kitchenette. I stayed there relatively long time and felt very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms facing the small street are quiet, facing the big street are more noisy. The location is very good, with the metro Tolbiac nearby. The district is not very touristic which was pleasant. Shops, launderettes and other facilities are around.

It seems that it is allowed to smoke in the rooms and some people do it. The smell propagates through the ventilation unfortunately.

I loved how it was so clean and staff was friendly. Soundproofed rooms. It was a great experience, the hotel was 5 minutes away from Tolbiac metro and 10 minutes away fro place’d Italie metro. There are lots of shops around to get stuff you need. The rooms were arranged everyday (but not thoroughly cleaned). The heating worked perfectly and all appliances in the room worked great. Also free coffee and tea at the lobby.

The initial musty smell in the bathroom, but this cleared out immediately I opened up the window. So not a problem at all.

The room was basic but smart and clean. What I did not realize was that there was a fridge, hot plate and microwave oven in a small kitchenette area, with cutlery and crockery, meaning it was fully self contained for a self catering stay in Paris. A continental breakfast was available, and a coffee machine was in reception for unlimited free hot drinks. It was also just 6 minutes walk from a Metro station on a very useful line. It was a relatively quiet area as well, with a choices of cafes not too far away. The hotel was easy to find.

The bathroom window catch was broken, but this was not a big deal.

The entire hotel was really good situated, nearby the metro and several good restaurants. The area was quiet (for everyone who is more sensitive for noise), which was perfect after long journey. The room exceeded our expectations, because we had an small kitchen in the room, the bed was comfy and big, TV was good, bathroom was clean and spacious enough. The cleaner cleaned our room everyday and gave us clean towels. Just perfect stay in Paris.

You need to pay extra for breakfast, if you want them. For the breakfast it was only one croissant, juice, yougurt and fruits. But we liked it.

I was on the 4th floor and for once it was noisy - I think I must have been near the laundry room. This is the first time ever in many stays so I am assuming I just got unlucky! Normally very quiet although close to bars and restaurants

Free parking around the corner in a garage. Spacious!! Great room. The larger one!! Has a kitchenette with Fridge, stove, Micro wave and pots and plates!!AC!! Big windows that open. Great Bathroom!! Free Coffee and Capucchino 24 hours in the lobby. Subway near. Supermarket across the street to the left and a large health food store. Bakery and Fruit Store. Plus to the right and next left is a Great Vietnamese Restaurant Street for fantastic Pho.

Motorbike parking was excellent, secure, indoors and on site. All we could ask for, and space to store motorbike gear like bulky coats, and we stored the bike there after checkout on the last day. Staff were exceptionally helpful, the comment 'its your home from home' summed it up. Good quality complementary coffee. Whole place was lovely and clean throughout. It isn't in Paris central... But look at the location when you book. We knew we would need to get a metro so this wasn't a problem, there also seemed to be a lot of busy local bars when we were walking back so I don't think you need to go far from hotel if you dont want to. When you consider the free parking, this is such an excellent price

The only tiny thing I might fault is we were at the front of the hotel and, while the street noise didn't keep us awake, there was smoking out the front overnight that we could smell in the room. I would 100% stay again, and recommend others to, but would maybe ask for a room away from the road.

The location is nice. The metro is a 4 minute walk. The staff is friendly and helpful. A coffee and tea machine is available that you can use for free. Also a vending machine with snacks and drinks which you can use against payment. Clean rooms with air conditioning, TV, enough sockets and a neat bathroom. There is an elevator in the hotel and the car can be parked in the parking garage. We had a nice stay!

We did not like the pillows, but everyone has their own taste.
