Great location...newly renovated

No air-conditioning

Hotel is very easily reachable by metro, and train, well located. But most of all, the hospitality there was amazing! Each and every staff member was incredibly approachable and offered support for every question or ask I had. The room was also lovely (decently sized for Paris!) and the bathrooms so modern! I had a great stay at HDP and would easily book again.

Had to take stairs for my room - but not too bad since only a few floors. No AC but they are working on getting it installed this summer—and fans were already provided noting the heat for the weekend I was staying. Having an iron provided would also be a great addition!

Very friendly and helpful welcome. Room was ready early so we could drop our bags after travelling and head straight out. Great location for getting around all the sites in Paris with being just a few mins walk from a large station. Rooms were a good size (for 2a and 2c) maybe a push for older children. We only slept there though and a nice spacious bathroom. We had a balcony too but didn’t use it. Breakfast was nice and lady there lovely too. Next door is a great Lidl with a lovely bakery for a bargain breakfast! We heard no noise although we’re so shattered after all the walking so passed out! Area seemed fine too, very felt unsafe and we came home late a few nights. Would definitely stay here again and was reasonable compared to other hotels the weekend we travelled.

The room was truly soundproofed. I am a very light sleeper, and we were given room on 4th floor facing the street.. To my surprise when I shut the window, I could not hear anything at all.. Its truly sound proof... The only issue we had was the air-condition was NOT working. I did ask for a fan and it's Comfy... So. Nothing much to complain. Staff was all amazingly helpful.. merci!! The service ladies were great too. Merci to all staff. We have had an enjoyable stay. Wl be back again.

Just the air con was not working.

The hotel is near Gare Montparnasse and a subway station which makes traveling in and outside Paris easier. There are restaurants and supermarkets (Lidl, Monop, etc) within the area giving you enough food options throughout the day. Location-wise, this is one of the better hotels available.

Although the space inside the rooms were sufficient enough (booked for three people), it would be nice to have more. The hallways and elevator are quite cramped so it maybe a bit of a challenge moving around with bigger suitcases.

Great location, so close to Montparnasse station with loads of shops and restaurants all around. Staff were lovely, and very helpful. The hotel is well-maintained and clean.

I knew there was no air-conditioning when I booked but didn't think this would be a problem in October. Unluckily the weather was unseasonably hot which resulted in hot and stuffy rooms. I'm not sure I would have coped in the summer. The hotel is on a very busy street, so opening windows for air on street side also means a LOT of noise. The good still outweighed the bad for this hotel though and I don't regret my choice for staying here.

The location was very accessible to train station, metro and bus stops. The staff at the reception was extremely helpful - she was patient in answering our questions and made us feel welcomed. She offered us useful advice on how to get to various attractions too. The breakfast area was amazing - where water and simple food was easily available. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and pretty. Looks like it was newly renovated.

Very convenient location, excellent cafes and restaurants nearby and easy access to several metro stations. The staff were extremely obliging and cheerfully helpful when I needed some computer internet access. In particular, Ms Amina was extremely kind in helping my onward journey arrangements after I had checked out. Really outstanding customer service at this hotel.

Nothing at all. I expect to stay again

Everything you could want for breakfast (eggs, fruit, cheeses, etc.). We stayed in a beautiful garden area out back. Big mirror, safe in room, automatic metal shutter door to block out light to sleep, minifridge. Delightful table for 2 outside the door. We had stayed in 4-star hotels the rest of our vacation which were lacking in things that this hotel supplied!

great location, very clean rooms, staff very friendly and made a real effort with our young children, good breakfast and good to have onsite bar / free drinking water available.

only slight downside was a lack of proper shower in our room (shower hose linked to taps but not fixed up and no shower curtain). bath was great for kids though and great warm, high pressure water.
