The hotel is old and dates back at least 4 centuries giving it a certain 'olde worlde' charm. Whilst presenting the modern conveniences of wifi and a lift, with a seating area and free coffee during the day. The reception were all very welcoming and kind. Especially when I locked my key card in my room. And when, due to peace, calm and comfy bed, I overslept and missed breakfast I was offered a coffee and something to eat me to tide me over before my train. The location is also very central to the Latin quarter, so perfect for sightseeing or dining out.

was clear, white towel not as like comments from other hotel. Old buying but clean, banio is also good. we need to understand everyone has own demands but bathroo. was good medium large , hot water, u cam close a door., breakfast cheese, cofe , bagets ,cruasseans, yourt, gams, fruits - enough. u can come.paire but all was good. staff also good.we would like to choose one more time. location is soon perfect.Louvre, notr dam , kafe, malls, 30 min by bus Tiyr Eiffel.just assansör was soooo little. First time.e we saw it but again. it's nothing. u can go on one bh one.its not a flaw

last day assansör didn't work but it can happen also at home.so all was perfect.

Building dates from the 1700's, no two rooms are alike, ceilings have wooden beams, elevator as tight as a matchbox squeezed in... Rooms romantic, lots of old wood paneling and romantic wallpaper, empire style furniture. Oldfashioned bathtubs too: handheld shower (but yes, grab bars). So if you like a bit quirky, far from cookie cutter chains, this is it! Oh, decent breakfast in great setting... Marvelous location!

The lighting in some rooms is very minimal ("guests like it romantic", says owner). There may be no sockets close to your bed. The TV is up there where it is hard to see, and anyway, only French channels - bring your tablet or laptop!

Quaint and clean. Beds are very comfy. Concierge Jean Camille funny and friendly. Location perfect. Breakfast fresh and delicious.

Stairs were rickety - but we managed

I liked the hospitality of the front desk personnel. He even helped me with the phone charging problem. Also, I liked the size of my room and its interior, except the pictures, but I am a nun, and other people might like them. Most of all I liked the breakfast: it was plain, but generous. And I liked the document on the entrance wall, telling the history of the hotel. Spectacular!

There was no shampoo in the shower dispenser. Zero. So, no shower for me. There was some liquid soap in the sink dispenser, coming in minuscule drops. I washed with water from the sink. Unlike the room that was surprisingly less tiny than an average room in a modest Parisian hotel, the elevator was the tiniest of all I have ever seen in Paris. Just enough room for one person and one suitcase, both of average size. I do not complain, and only mention this as a curiosity.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Each room is completely different - cute and charming since it's a converted mansion. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The location is so perfect! Literally just off the busy street so all of the access and none of the noise from the traffic close to all the best eating locations, all methods of transportation including the train to come and go from the CDG airport,

Nothing negative comes to mind when I'm thinking back on my stay with this hotel.

Terrific location-easy walk to metro, food store, restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Quirky room definitely had character. Did not know, when I booked, that breakfast was included, so was quite happy with that.

The elevator was the smallest I've ever seen, but my daughter loved it! The hair dryer sparked, quite impressively, on our last day. It was reported and staff went to investigate it right away.

If you love art, history and the 17th century, this is the hotel for you! Our room was quirky and cozy, and oozing charm with colombages ( half-timbering) and sweet provincial wallpaper. The whole of the little boutique hotel is filled with pieces of framed artwork that looks like they came from a French aunt’s attic and lend a charming atmosphere. The staff were all extremely pleasant and chatty and oh so helpful. The croissants were among the best we’ve ever had and the café crème machine was available day and night. Location is perfect, right in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, with numerous restaurants à deux pas.

Mattress needs an upgrade. The elevator is a minuscule hoot, but if you can suck it in, you’ll fit.

This hotel is the most romantic spot in Paris, I love it every time! The rooms are very different in light and size, that is too be known, the ones on top are amazing! This year we had a troublesome moment and the staff was so helpful, very kind!

Nothing to be said. It's a historic place dating back to the 17th century so it's special, also in the stairs e and the tiniest lift seen. and I enjoy that! Everything is great.

Hotel is located in a great spot, everything is near, all the spots to see are just from a short walk. Airport train from CGH stops near hotel, so no need for a hassle with the metro system. Neighbour is calm at night.

Well the water from the shower was constantly changing temperature from cold to hot. So the showering was kept to the minimum.
