First, the staff were all amazing -- friendly, helpful, kind in the face of my halting French. The lobby was inviting and well furnished. The room was entirely adequate. It was very small by US hotel standards, but European hotels typically offer smaller rooms (who expects to be in the room much in Paris anyway :) ). In-room coffee and tea was a great help. The location was great. A ten-minute walk down the Rue de L'Opera to the Louvre (my main attraction), a ten-minute walk to the Place de la Concorde. For travelers here: there is a Carrefour just a few blocks away on Gramant off St. Augustin, a GREAT pizza place around the corner to the right on St. Augustin, a number of inexpensive Japanese and Korean restaurants as you walk around the block opposite the hotel, and a boulangerie with very tasty pastries on the side street where Gaillon meets Rue de L'Opera (turn left). Excellent A/C.

The beds were typically European, which means not very forgiving. The pillows were very flat (we ended up stuffing two into a single pillowcase, which helped). It's not the hotel's fault, but Paris is noisy late into the night. There is a bar with a happy hour that draws a lot of customers at the head of Rue Gaillon. Bring ear plugs and you'll be fine. (I forgot mine; my wife remembered hers.)

The room was more spacious and overall nicer than how it seemed from the photos. The room was clean and tidy. The location was excellent.

There was no minibar in the superior queen room even though it said so on the Booking website. The view from the window was not great since you only saw the other room’s window and some renovation gear. There was a bit of noise from the ongoing renovations from time to time but luckily it did not disturb us too much.

We got a upgrade which was amazing! But even if we didn’t, the location was great! Close to metro, walking distance to Le Louvre, and walking distance to catch the airport bus Roissybus. The night shift staff was super friendly. Thanks to him we know more about Paris and it’s history. The room had a bath which was great! There’s an elevator!

The WiFi had a problem, didn’t have WiFi the whole time we were there but that’s alright cos we fell asleep once we got back to the hotel. The shower head was situated at a very weird position, so had to have a careful shower trying not to bump into places. Need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner though, because they have small bottles of all in ones.

The room was big compared to the rooms in Europe the bed was comfortable the washroom is clean and new but a little small, the location is the best metro station, bus station and main road is near by the opra 5min walking a lot of nice shops and restaurants of all type of cuisines and gallery Lafayette its almost 12min walking I recommend and we may come back again. Staff makes our trip more fun and easier 💕

perfect location in a quiet street ,very comfortable beds

As I read the comments nobody has mentioned but there is a subway underneath the hotel. I have had room 104 which was very quiet with a window to an inner yard, but the noise from the subway can't leave you sleep even with earplugs, every two-three minutes the whole room vibrates. So after one sleepless night I moved to room 304 which was much better. My advice is to take a room on an upper floors if you are disturbed by noise.

The location was great, close to everywhere we planed to visit, so many restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. After a night trip on the boat, we came back to the hotel and had an amazing meal at a local restaurant at 11pm. Also, the staffs were very friendly and very helpful! Next time when I am in Paris, I’ll definitely come to this hotel either to stay or to visit those staffs.

The hotel met our expectations, we were on family vacation so we stayed out of the hotel most of the time and went only for sleep. The hotel in general is quite okay for our purposes and would book again.

The pillows were a bit smelly but the next day it seemed different. Even though I liked the hotel I think it was a bit pricey for the type.

Great location very close to the opera and a short walk to the lourve. Felt safe and was central. Clean and comfortable. 24/7 staff which were helpful, however, the night staff were definetly better than others. There was a lift! Granted it was a little one but with luggage made life much easier. Language barriers with staff (to be expected) with the odd miscommunication about breakfast and taxi bookings.

Staff were extremely welcoming and helpfull. The room was clean and comfy. It was big enough to accommodate three people. Extremely convenient location in the heart of the city and very safe! Just 8 min. walk to the Louvre.
