Brilliant location. We arrived by metro from Gare du Nord which is just 5 mins walk away. Bus stop back to GdN just 1 minute walk away. Lots of great restaurants within a 20 minute walk. Very close to shops, cafes and patisseries Very friendly staff. We booked a superior double room, I requested a bath which we got. It was a lovely room with full length windows in the bedroom and bathroom (quite unusual to have a window in the bathroom). Room wasn’t huge, but ceilings are high and well appointed. Spotlessly clean. We visited Paris for my husbands’ birthday. The staff left a half bottle of champagne in the room and another day a plate of macaroons, which was a nice touch. Hot and cold drinks, cakes and fruit are complimentary between 16:00-18:00. Liked that you can book pool area for private use.

I wouldn’t bother with breakfast again. The staff again were lovely, but the food was Ok, but nothing special. A coffee and apple tart from a cafe would be sufficient.

This hotel is absolutely exceptional — and its staff are even better. I cannot recommend this highly enough as a comfortable, quiet hotel in an amazing location. Special mention to Dillon on reception and Kayna in the restaurant — they absolutely went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We were given a complementary bottle of champagne to enjoy on Christmas and other thoughtful touches (like free Macarons and chocolates with nice hand-written notes!), they arranged breakfast in bed for us, and they gave helpful, friendly advice throughout our stay. I will be back, and have recommended this hotel to everyone I've spoken to since.

The queen bed was in fact two mattresses, which caused us some discomfort on the first night. However, when we told the reception, they arranged a mattress topper immediately and the issue was sorted. What's more, I really think this hotel needs a bar. After a day of sightseeing, having somewhere to order a drink and soak up some atmosphere would make a perfect stay even better. That said, it was possible to order cocktails through room service, so they did help us there!

Breakfast was great. The staff was outstanding from check in to check out and all in between. Location was good.. Room was quiet.20 minute walk to the Louvre, a bit more to the D'Orsay. Close to Opera House although it is under renovation currently. Cabs do not go by frequently but hotel is happy to call one for you. You can store your luggage if you arrive before check in or leave it after check out. Rooms were comfortable and had good storage and nice decor. Wifi worked well. Cookies available in the lobby. They keep waters behind the desk if you need one. Also in the rooms. Good elevator. Would definitely stay here again. A cab from airport was $65 Euro. There are some cheaper ways to get there but we did not have the energy to figure them out.

Only improvement I could offer is a grab bar next to the bath tub. The sides of the tub are high to step over. I held on to the towel warmer and this worked fine.

The property was very clean and modern with good facilities. It was in a good location to the Lourve, Notre Dame and the Gare du Nord (international train terminal). The staff were friendly and the breakfast options were good.

The only issue was that it was a little bit far from the Eiffel Tower (55 minute walk). Additionally, we did have to pay another city tax at the hotel even though it was clear we paid it on our confirmation email so we weren’t overly happy about that as it wasn’t stated anywhere that we had to pay double the tax.

The property is in a great area (at the Louvre side) and really amazing Asian food around and a cafe that needs to be visited “Baguettes Cafe” is close by! very safe neighbourhood. The property itself is a nice hotel, rooms are small (but that’s most of Paris averaging 16 sqm a room which is small for most standards) but utilised well and nicely decorated. the bed was really comfortable. The staff spoke really good English and the swimming pool was not busy and it was a nice treat to chill in

firstly the breakfast is a major disappointment. Its a buffet and a bad choice. We went down for it first morning and walked away without eating. in the neighbourhood there is a place called “Baguettes Cafe” which is incredible for breakfast so I would recommend book room only.

We really enjoyed our week's stay at the Hotel Square Louvois. The best thing about the hotel is its staff. From the front desk to the cleaning maids, all are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location is excellent - a short walk away from the Tuileries Garden, Louvre and other landmarks. The room was modern, at a high standard of decor and refurbishment, well laid out and comparable size to what you expect and get in Paris.

Our room was on the 1st floor, which has smaller-sized windows than those on the floors above. This made the room a bit dark (our stay was in November). But this is probably a 'the grass is greener' comment as we did not look inside any of the upper-floor rooms

The best part of our stay was that the photos are true to what you actually get. So the hotel was clean neat and comfortable. The rooms were definitely on the small size when compared to most other parts of the world but I guess its fine for Paris. We had a lot of luggage so it was pretty cramped, but we managed. The best part of our story was the staff at the reception and the person who made our rooms. Very helpful and always pleasant to talk to. I would rate this hotel highly just based on how good their team were. They really made a positive impact on our stay. Location was also fantastic if you like to walk around Paris. Its perfectly located between Le Marais which is the fun hipster part of Paris, and Champs Elyse which is where most people would like to visit. Its really perfectly located.

My only complaint is that the rooms could have been bigger, but there's not much that they can do about that. If your travelling with children, then it'll be really difficult unless you book a suite.

Wonderful staff, great service, comfortable room with amenities. Perfect location. We appreciated the extras we received like 24-hour English-speaking help from the desk staff, kindness and flexibility of servers providing breakfast and afternoon tea, the daily housekeeping and cookies on our pillows!

I loved their grotto pool as a single adult swimmer. But families should be aware that the pool is not designed for small children to use (especially rowdy groups of children).

Location was great . Advise a taxi to hotel as I would have probably struggled to find initially. Welcoming staff clean and checked in straight away which was marvellous. Would definitely return to this hotel. The pool area was lovely and very relaxing. The hotel was lovely. Nothing was pushed which enabled a homely feel.

Would have liked a bar area. However the minibar was available in the room and very reasonable.

Amazing location. Staff were exceptional and a very comfortable stay. Pool was lovely. We would stay here again for sure. Highly recommend.

The inability to get room service or a hot meal inhouse took some getting used to but there are many eateries nearby so this wasn't a problem at all and the hotel provided refreshments and light snacks. If you are hungry, you do have to venture out so something to be aware of.
