Overall, a nice stay and the reception team were very helpful and went above and beyond with upgrading my room from a standard to a superior single. The room is well cleaned and has everything one needs.

1. When I arrived, air con was set at 17C and it was freezing in the room. It didn’t react to my attempts to increase the temperature. When i spoke to the lady at the reception, she told temperature could only be adjusted by her (???) and brought it up to 20C at my request. In the evening I spoke to another guy at the reception who promised to call an engineer and fix it in the morning, which never happened. 2. Very noisy neighbours! On both nights I ask people to keep their voices down as it was impossible to get any rest with hearing every word they were saying next door. I appreciate it’s an old building with really thin walls, but the hotel should think of something to make the rooms more sound proof.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was modern. The thermostat worked and kept the room at an optimal temperature. The front desk personnel were fluent in English, which is always nice. The location, just a couple of blocks from a Metro station and within walking distance of the Louvre, is ideal for the sightseeing tourist.

Because the room is small, storage is pretty much non-existent except for a closet. It would have been nice if the luggage could have fit under the bed to get it out of the way, especially with floor space at a premium.

The suite was spacious and well-appointed, providing ample room for our family to relax and unwind. The comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep, and the abundance of chairs and armchairs allowed everyone to find their own cozy spot. The inclusion of a refrigerator was a convenient feature, and the presence of an air conditioner kept the room at a pleasant temperature throughout our stay. The highlight of the suite was the huge bathtub, which provided a luxurious and indulgent bathing experience. What truly set Hotel Ascot Opera apart was the exceptional staff. Charles, in particular, made our stay memorable. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a warm and positive attitude. His efficiency and availability were commendable, as he promptly addressed all our requests and inquiries. Charles went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed and that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfasts at the hotel were a delightful experience. The food was tasty and fresh. It was evident that great care was taken in providing a satisfying breakfast spread. It was our daughter's birthday during our stay, and the hotel made it even more special. We found balloons, beautiful birthday postcards, and a delicious cake waiting for us in the room upon arrival. This thoughtful gesture added an extra touch of joy and made our daughter's birthday memorable. The hotel's attention to cleanliness was commendable. Our rooms were cleaned daily, and the towels and bed sheets were changed regularly. This level of cleanliness and attention to detail contributed to a comfortable and hygienic environment. The hotel's location was another highlight. Situated within walking distance from the Louvre, Galleries, and several metro stations, it provided easy access to major attractions and convenient transportation options. This central location enhanced our overall experience, al

While the suite was spacious and comfortable, having bathrobes would have added an extra touch of luxury and convenience. It would be a valuable addition to the room amenities. Another area that could be addressed is the English proficiency level of the buffet staff and cleaning ladies. Although the staff members were friendly and helpful, there were some instances where communication became challenging due to language barriers. Enhancing the English language skills of the staff in these areas would greatly improve the overall guest experience and ensure smoother interactions.

We were very happy with the hotel and staff. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and spoke to us in english when they knew we spoke very little French. They were able to check us in early since our flight to Paris arrived early. Our quadruple room was clean and very comfortable for the four of us. The location of the hotel is great. Very close to the Metro, many restaurants, shopping and tourist sites. It was cute that the cleaning staff tucked in my daughter's stuffed monkey when they cleaned the room :)

Excellent location, very close to metro and a short walk to the Louvre. In immediate vicinity, there is a very good Italian restaurant directly across the road, a lively bar at the end of the street, and Little Tokyo is just around the corner. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We got upgraded to a family room, which was a decent size, with a very comfy bed. Bathroom was spotless, with plenty of hot water. The €5 formule express breakfast is also a good deal.

We could probably have done without the flashing disco strip lights in the room, which were complicated to turn off, but this was only a minor inconvenience.

Clean hotel, excellent location, nice rooms. Room was little tight, very little space to sit down, make coffee or unpack, but it was cozy and clean. Bed was large enough for 2 people. Large windows that opened onto a small ledge (we were on the 6th floor) made it special. Bathroom was clean and new. Hotel is on a quiet street, surrounded by restaurants. Walking 7mins to Louvre. 4 mins to 2 different metro stations. Daily room service. It was strange that we had to give the keys to the reception each time we left the building. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Bath/shower lacked a shower curtain, so when showering, some water sprayed on the floor (this is an old European thing, they don't use shower curtains). The room was tiny, but we managed okay. Fridge in the room was filled with mini-bar items which we don't care for, we would prefer an empty fridge to store our own drinks and food.

The hotel staff were very helpful. We stayed 14 days and were always treated in a friendly, helpful manner. The management helped us quickly book airline tickets when we were impacted by a railway strike. Breakfast was very nice. The choice was good. Lots of very nice, reasonably priced restaurants and bars close. We are seniors in our 70’s and we will stay again!

Next time we stay we will request a slightly bigger room. We had a lot of luggage and stored it in the bathroom! The bathroom was a good size and loved the bath/shower combination.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Manager emailed beforehand to see if we needed anything and recommended some lovely local restaurants. The room was ready early and it was very clean and cleaned everyday. Location was fantastic with a metro station just down the street and 10 min walk to the Palace opera and louvre. We had a family room for 4 of us and there was plenty of space and it was very comfortable. I would defintely stay here again

Location was great, very near museums and transit. Room had 4 beds, 3 were regular but one was more of a roll in type bed so not has comfortable (no box spring, smaller mattress). Space was really good for our family of four though, as everyone got there own bed, reading light and space for luggage.

The elevator was small (room for 2 and bags) and we were on the 6th floor. My wife and I did the stairs as it was easier then waiting for the elevator to come back, but if you have limited mobility, would recommend lower floor, or not using this hotel.

Location, bathtub, room, view, were all nice. Breakfast is available, but we opted to just eat in the area. So many cute and good facilities around. Room is average for central parisian standards, but could feel a little bit claustrophobic for people who aren't used to small apartments. Also, check-out at 12pm is much appreciated

The elevator. There was only one small one for the entire building. Good enough but definitely reconsider if you're with larger people/ a family
