The staff and cleaners I encountered (5 different staff) were all extremely friendly and helpful which is always a nice bonus. Even those working night shift. Room was quite small but laid out in a way that makes it feel spacious. Nicely decorated, modern facilities. Very clean. Bed was comfortable.

The location is at least 1-2miles from any of the major attractions. That being said, the area is still quite nice, Parc Monceau is close by, as are some cafes and supermarkets. I took the city bikes into Paris Opera (Centre) and it was no problem.

Good location. Comfortable stay, clean rooms and friendly staff. Wifi was really good too.

I traveled for work but had a friend make the reservations. And even though, I was listed as the main guest, the hotel invoice was in my friend's name - needless to say it was a mess! So if you are traveling for work and need an invoice in your name, make the reservations YOURSELF; because according to the hotel, they can't replace the name of the person making the reservation with the main guest when booked through booking.com!

We loved this place! Not too far from the CDG airport. There are a few metro stations nearby, very convenient to get to all the attractions. The staff is very friendly, it was a pleasure to talk to them and practice a little French. The room was cleaned on the daily basis, so it was very nice to come to a clean place and relax. There's a coffee and tea machine in the lobby, and an awesome bakery in the walking distance, or you can order a delivery and have a quick lunch or dinner there. Also, lots of restaurants nearby! Thank you, Hotel Gaston! We are taking home good memories about you guys! 💝

We first stayed at a 4star hotel were we had to cancel it due to the discomfort of the rooms. We stayed there for a night and in the morning we looked on trip advisor website and came across Gaston hotel. the price was good and the rooms looked cozy and intimate and the location was great. Leo ( the staff ) was absolutely amazing. Leo and Amin were absolutely lovely. my partner and I were very pleased and thankful. Rooms were clean and warm. we’ll definitely be back!!!!!

the bathroom was a bit cold

The hotel was easy to find with good connections to the city with the metro and buses nearby. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast was delicious too: selections of pastries, baguette, cheese, jam, fruit, yoghurt, juice and hot beverages. The room was fine for a short stay.

For a slightly longer stay the room would have been too small and with very limited space to put your stuff and clothes in/on.

Good price for the room, comfortable bed and pillows, good position - hotel located in walking distance to some of the attractions (~30 mins to Arc the Triomphe, ~35-40 mins to Montmartre), around 10-15 mins to reach 2 of the metro lines, friendly receptionists. As a conclusion, a viable accommodation to take into account if you don't plan to spend long hours in the hotel (I guess not, it's Paris though).

Poor breakfast, unfriendly staff in the dining area, really small space, with no room to turn around or to lay down your luggage, but to be honest I knew that prior to the reservation so it was a conscious decision, only one hanger in the bathroom for one towel, as the otherone was broken, no closet in the room whatsoever. The rooms next to the boulevard aren't that quiet as the windows/walls aren't isolating the sound that well, anyhow, relatively quiet area during the night.

- Near train station - Staff was very helpful and assisted me when I needed. I arrived too early for my check-in after not sleeping for over 24 hours in desperate need of a shower and some rest. The girl at the reception helped me and allowed me to check-in earlier since there was a room available anyway. Thank you very much for that, you saved my life that day!!!! - Comfortable bed - Good WiFi

- People on the streets were loud at night on the weekend. Would be nice to have a stronger isolation but either than that everything was good!

Communication with the hotel staff was amazing from the start. Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances we arrived in Paris a day later than expected! The hotel was very understanding and assisting with this matter. We arrived late at night and check in was super quick and easy. Our room was perfect for our short stay, everything you need for a few days trip. Would definitely book again on our return to Paris.

The location was great; ten minutes to the Metro and then a few short hops into the centre of Paris. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast, but it looked good and the dining area was characterful. It was helpful to have a safe in the room and the parking arrangements were very convenient. The beds were really comfortable with crisp, white sheets.

I don't really like wet rooms because I usually soak the toilet paper, but that's just a personal choice; other people like them.

The reception staff were helpful and all spoke English. Jennifer was particularly friendly and welcoming.

It would have been nice to be able to watch the World Cup final on December 18th in the hotel reception and breakfast area on a big screen. With other guests as this would have made a good atmosphere with the guests and staff watching together, and felt safer as warmer than going outside.
