We really liked the theme, and especially that it wasn’t done over the top. So it was a great new experience. We had the red theme room, The room was very spacious, we had a balcony-window facing the streets so it gave a real Paris experience. The bathroom was very nice and new (renovated). For a visit in August with Parisian summer, we were very happy there was airconditioning in the room

The elevator was very small, it could fit 1-2 people inside, but it was a fun experience too, as it was an oldschool type pd elevator. Otherwise they had stairs so that was good too.

We loved our 3 night stay at Hotel Splendour. It's located in in the Parc Monceau are which is kind of Parisian New Town if that make sense? A quieter area with mostly locals going about their business. The staff were very friendly and spoke English which was helpful but we'll brush up on our French for the next visit. The location is also great as you're only about a 15-20 min walk to the Arc de Triomphe and therefor the Champs-Élysées. Eiffel Tower is about 45 mins walk but ion the same direction as the Arc de Triomphe with lot's of sights to see on the way. The metro is about 5 mins walk from the hotel. The room was spotless with the best shower we've ever had in a hotel. Wow! What a way to start the day and wake you up. For anyone who loves Seinfeld, think Kramer's super powered showered scene. Heading out in the other direction and your 5 mins walk from Parc Monceau which is lovely for a chilled out picnic with an ice cream stand for crepes, ice creams and refreshments. Carry on that way and in about 35 mins you'll arrive at Sacre Coeur and Montmartin. Head to Les Demoiselles nearby for a great meal and company. Locals are friendly and the food is awesome. We'll definitely return to Hotel Splendour for it's great location to explore from and very reasonable cost for such a lovely little boutique hotel.

Quiet, safe and upscale neighborhood. Friendly staff. Good option if you can’t find anything else closer to center or if you need a budget option near to Parc Monceau. Near to a pharmacie and Carrefour city and a couple of markets. Overall it wasn’t bad even if it seemed a bit run down.

Our shower leaked on the floor and from the person above. When I called to ask for more towels for the floor, I was told about the shower leak (so they knew) and offered minibar items as compensation and I don’t use the minibar (and it has roughly 4 items). They could have offered a discount on that room or free breakfast which could have been better. The elevator can barely fit one person and luggage so we had to split trips. I paid more bc of weekend of black Friday and this room to be was overpriced. Far from a lot of tourist areas so used many ubers.

The hotel was average for what I’m used to in Europe. The staff was really helpful after day one. As stated before after that the staff was amazing given the circumstances of no AC and it being a French National Holiday. There was no language barrier they all spoke English and knew their way around the city. Both of the room designs were pretty cool too.

The biggest issue is the AC went out for the entire hotel after day 1. The staff moved us to a room that was in front for better airflow which was great. We arrived early and asked for an early check in. The receptionist didn’t answer and told us to be back at 3, which is fair. However we returned at three and no one was at the desk to check us in for almost another hour. After being stuck on a plane and wandering the city for a couple hours all you really want is a shower and a nap and we were denied that.

The stay was more than pleasant for us. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back. The bed and the pillows were very comfy especially if you like them soft and fluffy. We had cleaning every day although I’m not sure if they clean the room but they changed the towels and made the beds every day during our stay. We didn’t try the breakfast. The room is spacious for Paris and the bathroom I might say is the best part of the room, there is also a desk with a coffee machine and a little refrigerator which came very useful during the hot days. The location is perfect for tourists because there is all types of public transport around that could get you anywhere in Paris. There also are grocery stores, pharmacy, bakery and restaurants. Also we happens to acknowledge that this is the part of Paris with the most police departments it’s silent and I must say beautiful and authentic for Paris and we felt very safe.

The escalator is quite narrow but it’s normal for the old buildings. The bedside lights were a bit dusty.

Location was convenient and nice neighbourhood. Staff was very friendly, they supported with a hot water inconvenient in the best way possible and they gave us a Xmas present which we loved! Room was small but comfortable, however construction is happening next to the hotel some noise can bother early in the morning also we woke up every morning with a super strong smell to bread in the room (it was a really nice smell - but very strong, if you know what I mean? Friendly staff, clean rooms; We got a room with a balcony with a table and couple of chairs and a very nice & romantic view; The room was relatively spacious as for Paris; Beds and pillows were comfy; The AC probably saved our lives during this record heatwave;

The doors seemed very thin and you could hear quite well what's happening in the hallway. However, it was still quiet and we were never woken up by anybody even though we're quite sensitive to noise. The reception area seemed a bit dirty: toilet and sofa near the entrance didn't seem very clean.

We had 2 rooms one had lovely Parisian balcony with street view but second room was slightly smaller with no view only where the rubbish was kept

Location in a residential area. Breakfasts were good. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Some of the interiors could use a little care.

Great hotel in a very convenient location close to the Arc de Triomph and a good metro line. Staff were very helpful, giving me a clear explanation on how to navigate the metro from the airport to the hotel. Comfortable bed, very clean, coffee machine in room, tea making facilities in the foyer.

A small fan in the room would be good for when they have turned the air conditioning off but it’s still warm during the day.
