The Hotel Studia assigns itself 1 star on its website, but the excellent cleaning and change of towels are done daily, with the 24-hour presence of the very kind reception staff!!! For this reason it deserves a good rating. There is an Underground stop (line 10) a few meters from the hotel entrance. The room has a comfortable bathroom. It is an economical and logical choice for those who want to move around Paris all day long.

The lift is small. The decor is a little dated. The bathroom has no door. But you can't have everything in life, given the good quality/price ratio.

We were travelling as a family of 4, 2 adults and one 17 year old and one 12 year old. We had rooms next to each other, so it worked well. The location is excellent. The croissants are fantastic ( from Isobelle's just a few doors up). The staff were all pleasant and professional. The rooms were very clean and tidy with traditional decor and a quirky layout. We appreciated them. The balconies are very pretty. We would stay again gladly and would recommend as such good value for the area. Those croissants though.... to die for...

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Great location! Walk to Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens and the Louvre. Room was large and had a French balcony. Staff were helpful.

On a busy street, lots of sirens. Not the hotel’s fault, but light sleepers take note. Elevator is tiny.

The property was amazing! The service was impeccable. The staff were there 24 hours and you leave your key to your room with them while you go out and receive it when coming back. So no loosing keys for us. They offered to clean our room every morning as well. The room itself was very tidy and comfortable. The beds were great! And the room was spacious for myself and my friend. We received the corner room so the view was amazing. The bathroom looked like it was freshly renovated and the shower was good too (can change temp etc). Location was perfect because you are quite literally two blocks from the pantheon and a 30 minute walk to other attractions. 40 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower.

NOTHING!

The staff were outstanding and took care of my various requests. The room was comfortable and I particularly enjoyed the street view from the small balcony. I spent a good deal of meditative time on that balcony. Also, the hotel was close to one of the best bakeries, La Maison d'Isabelle. Access to the rest of Paris is just outside the hotel doors via the Maubert - Mutualité metro station. Be sure to pick up your own conditioner and body lotion as the hotel does not provide those items. I would happily return to Hotel Studia.

The rooms are small, but this is to be expected in this part of Paris as many hotel rooms are similar in size.

This hotel is right by a convenient metro stop and easy to find. We enjoyed our room (#28) which enjoyed views over the street and rooftops of Paris. The room was also a good size and comfortable. List access to the upper levels was another bonus. The friendly reception staff were exceptional and gave hints on local amenities and restaurants. There was always someone on duty to assist, 24hrs each day.

It would be really helpful to have tea and coffee making available in the room, and a small fridge to keep drinks cool, etc. Breakfast was basic.

The hotel is over 100 years old. It is well maintained and is very clean. The bathroom was modern with a shower. There is a small elevator that can hold two people which is great for those on upper floors. The people at the front desk are very friendly and informative. It has an excellent location for seeing some of Paris's most important sights. There is a subway station almost in front of the hotel.

We understand that a typical French breakfast is only a warm drink, such as coffee, tea or hot chocolate and some bread or a croissant but with so many international guests, expanding the breakfast with fruit juice, cereal, meat and eggs would be even better.

We have stayed in Paris many times, so by comparison, our room was so large and spacious! It was wonderful. The location was perfect, we love staying in the Latin Quarter. We felt very safe to always have staff present downstairs and to be able to leave the key with them was really nice. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to stay again.

Nothing.

Hotel Studia is a gem. There was always someone helpful and friendly at the front desk. Our room was immaculate, and the bed was very comfortable. There is a tiny elevator. The housekeeper turned the air conditioner back on, so we came back to a cooled-off room, so thoughtful. If the hotel was any closer to the metro, you would fall down the steps. In any case, we never used the metro because we could walk to the Cluny, two blocks away, to the Seine a little further on, to see the progress on Notre Dame, over one the bridges to the Ile-de-Cite, and even across to the Louvre, about 20 minutes' walk. The neighborhood is wonderful, packed with interesting shops, cafes, and more restaurants than we ever got to try. There are two cafes across the street, where we went for coffee and desserts. The breakfast at the hotel is simple, but delicious (French bread and butter, and a croissant). We were there three nights. We look forward to our next stay, and hope it will be much longer.

Next time, we would like to stay longer.

Very central to the heart of Paris being in the Latin Qtr on St Germain Blvd, not a lot of space, even with two twin beds, but very nice bathroom/shower. From the sixth floor corner room, we could see a little bit of Notre Dame (bonus). Very helpful and engaging desk staff- speaking English much better than we could speak French- helpful making connections, etc.

There is a full kitchen, but you get coffee, a croissant, and jam. Needs to offer some meat, eggs, or granola/cereal, etc Twin bed rooms do get the noisy blvd, but if the windows are closed, it is fine- except for the very frequent police & ambulance sirens.
