Great location, 15 min walk to Pantheon. The hotel is simple but comparing other stsys in Paris, at least it was clean, fast hot water, good WiFi, comfortable bed, and a big electrical radiator which heated very fast the room.

No AC, rooms could get noisy if your neighbours don't realize it's a thin wall between the rooms. The breakfast is 9 euro, but you only get half a baguette and a croissant, and some butter and jam, coffee and a juice, so not very nutritional, some cheese and ham and an egg would have at least made it a bit value for money.

I had read the reviewers before choosing this place and I didn't have fancy expectations, but rest assured, people do love to exaggerate their bad experience. My needs were simple, a room to sleep and rest after exploring Paris all day. To be honest, you can pay more and still receive pretty much the same value as this hotel. The location is perfect, very close to metro, bus stations which can connect you with every spot in Paris. The neighborhood felt safe as well, day and night, no incident whatsoever. The staff was very friendly and attended to all our needs. We arrived way early then check-in time and since the room was ready, we were able to immediately enter the room and leave our luggage. Leaving the luggage if you come before check-in time was also possible. Also the last day, we were able to leave our luggage in the hotel and pick it up before departing, so we had an extra day to explore Paris. The beds were comfortable, slept without any issue. The shower worked as it should and there is a private bathroom.

The sound from other rooms can be heard very close indeed, but I guess I was lucky because people in the other rooms were careful not to make noises, especially during night hours. Wifi is not great, but I was prepared with a 50 gb of internet on my phone to handle five nights of stay.

It was clean in the bathroom and clean towels and bed sheets. Carpet covering wasn't too clean in the room. It's very warm in the room. You can regulate the heat yourself. It's good. There's a hair dryer in the bathroom and shower gel. The room is small, but for one person, not too bed. Good location of hotel, 10min to the metro and close to the city center, you can get it on foot. The staff is polite. The hotel is old, but it is a good combination of price and quality.

Attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the carpet floors in the room. Add shower gel. One package isn't enough for 2 days. A very thin and old blanket. If it weren't for the heating, it would be very cold at night. I traveled in November. These are small things, but can be improved.

The location for the price was great, it was very near most points of interest south of the river, and is well served by trasport links or a nice jaunt down a boulevard. Never had any problem with the facilities or the room, and the people on reception were always polite and welcoming.

Some of the decor and the room facilities could be updated, but all still served their purpose. The Wi-Fi though pretty good, had to be re-logged in every few hours.

Perfectly clean rooms and equipments. Good price, good situation, nice employees.

WiFi connexion was unsatisfactory, using a peculiar protocol and being very intermittent. Tiny room and especially bathroom, requiring some acrobatics at time to avoid injuring myself (the metal cover for the toilet paper is particularly hazardous when accessing or exiting the shower, a plastic replacment would be recommended).

Convienently located hotel close to Les Gobelins. Easy walking distance to Les Catacombes and also to the Pantheon. Reception is open 24 hours so you can enter and leave at any time. Also they have space to leave your luggage when you arrive before checkin or leave after checkout.

There was a slight smell in the room coming from the bath/toilet. Maybe this was caused by the rain we had on Saturday

This hotel has a very cozy, family-style feeling to it. It's great if you are looking to stay in Paris in a truly local neighborhood that is a walking distance (about 30 minutes) through picturesque street markets and parks to the city center.

While I didn't mind the modest-sized room, I would say it perhaps isn't conducive if traveling with small children and buggies.

The two guys who spent the most time at the reception were very kind. In three days of stay my room was cleaned and organized two or three times, cleanliness and order are a characteristic of the hotel. A very silent place. It is just a 15-minute walk from the Port Royal station or the Pascal bus stop.

When I arrived at Charles de Gaulle airport, not knowing which train, bus, or stations to get off, I sent a message to the hotel asking how best to get to the hotel. The answer I got sounded rude: "... TAKE A TAXI." It would have been simple to say: Take the "B" train from the airport, get off at Port Royal train station and walk 15 minutes to reach the hotel. Unfortunately, I had to figure this out myself.

We really liked the location and ofc this is a budget hotel, so do not expect it to be luxury, but the room was clean, stuff was friendly, location was great, so we actually liked it.
