The location was very good, a walking distance from some tourist attractions (20min to sacre-coeur, 25min to opera garnier, etc). Also very close to metro stations and bus stops. The room was very clean, no smells, comfortable bed and fresh sheets. Everyday we got a bottle of water each, coffee/tea restocked. We never used the TV. Heating working well. The shower was just amazing, as I like the water flow to be strong. The staff was polite and helpful.

Not that it affected much out stay, but observed 3 things: 1) It was quite noisy in the bedroom as you could hear all conversations from the corridor, especially in the morning time, noises from cleaning/moving furniture. But otherwise no noise from the street. 2) The bedroom was very small, for example, we only had one small hand luggage each and we couldn't open both on the floor as there was no espace, just enough for one to walk around the bed. 3) The shower was amazing, but the bathtub felt quite unsafe as there were no handles to help you get in or out and I almost slipped - so I wouldn't recommend to an old person.

Great staff, good value for money

the lacation is convenient, but seems not a safe one. There is a shooting and a protest in this area during my stay.

Our room was nice and clean. Even it was located right next to the lift, we didn't hear other guests. There's also kettle with cups, instant coffee and tea in the room (unfortunately no fridge). Breakfast was really good - fresh croissant, yogurt, baguette, Babybel, butter, jam, cereals, coffee, juice. For 9 EUR it was perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in walking distance to metro/train station Gare de l'Est and also not far from Gare du Nord. They have a dedicated space next to the reception desk, where you can leave your luggage after you check out and still have some time in the city before leaving.

The room was very small and facing to the street, so we could hear cars honking all the time. WiFi was really bad, it wasn't even possible to watch online videos. When leaving the hotel, you have to leave keys at the reception. When coming back, we just asked for the room number and none of the staff asked about our ID or other verification. Not safe. Location is not very nice, you might feel a little unsafe, especially at night. Avoid metro station Chateau d'Eau, we did not feel safe there even during the day.

I was really satisfied with the Est Hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Prasant is just the best person, I like to thank him again. He solved a small problem within minutes, while being extremely customer friendly and warm-hearted. He is doing a great job!! The hotel is near the stations, near good Cafés and Restaurants. It was silent. Good breakfast. The price is worth it. Outside in a Café you pay exactly the same with less options. Thank you Prasant. It was a wonderful stay. l really appreciate your professional manner.

Nothing to mention

Conveniently located only 10 Min walk from Gare du Nord, a nice quiet hotel with a lovely patio. The bathroom was big and nice.

The luggage space (for when you leave stuff outside check in times) is unattended and anyone who enters the hotel has immediate access. When we arrived to take our luggage, my girlfriend's bag had been laying open and her clean pyjamas on the floor.

Good Hotel and smart looking. All the Staff were helpful, on reception some spoke English and were polite, well done staff. The cleaners do an excellent job, security was very good, breakfast plentiful and a good choice. The beds were extremely comfortable ensuring a good nights sleep. Tv had some English but we didn’t spend a lot of time watching it. Fan provided in room as it was hot. Bathroom spotless. The courtyard was a beautiful little area, also clean and well kept. Ideal location for M4 line from Montparnasse and buses for getting into and around the capital. For a 3* hotel I was very impressed.

I was in Paris for 3 nights, with my mother, I've choosen this hotel because i was looking for a clean place mostly, and this hotel was the only one that had good reviews around this area, everyone and everything else was very good, the staff was very polite at all the times a particular mention to Allan & Alexandra at the breakfast area, but even at the reception, were very polite and positive attitude all times, i couldn't get their names the 2 boys were very knowledgeable in giving information out, so I will give 10 for this, as for me customer service is very important , if your flight or train is in the late afternoon, you can leave your luggage at the reception they have glass room and a sitting area, I was very happy with the facilities Breakfast will cost you €9 euros, per person,you get a bit of everything, and also fresh baguette and croissant , you are in the heart of Paris,within walking distance to bars,shops, train station and Metros... The only thing negative about this place was that there was not AC, i would not recommend to any one who travels June to September as the little fan provided is not enough for 40 degrees in Paris , I've asked for a second one, but even 2 were not enough unfortunately to feel fresher in the room, my only suggestion would be to put on the windows mosquitos nests, so it would keep the windows open without risking of being bitten by insects during the night, Also the room was very tiny for 2 people, however ive been told that in France the hotel rooms are small, so at the end of the day the most important thing is that the place is clean from reception throughout the rest of the premises

It was all really cleand and comfortable, the beds were great, the staff was nice, the reception was beautiful and they were amazing letting we leave our bags there during the day.

The bathtub in one of the rooms. It gets pretty slippery and it's hard to get inside. We were lucky one of the rooms didn't have the bathtub because my mom fell and was with an immobilised foot.

Great spot in the heart of Paris as very close to Gare du Nord. Which was great for me as arrived in Paris via the Eurostar. Staff were friendly, helpful and available 24/7 which is beneficial. Also the hotel was also on a main road which made it a safe place to stay as well as there being plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

The bed was a bit hard so struggled to sleep on the first few nights. Did not like the duvet cover as well as the room got quite hot in the evening if you didn't open the window.

Great room, I shared with my two teenage sons in a triple room -plenty big enough as were out sightseeing a lot. The room was cleaned every day. Nice courtyard where we could eat a sandwich we bought outside. Tea and coffee making in the room which wasn't advertised, and water bottles each every day.

Milk for the tea/coffee would be good, but I bought some and stayed fresh enough overnight.
