Hotel Soft is a great, affordable hotel for couples visiting Paris. It is well located, close to several underground train stations, as well as close to several bars, restaurants and boulangeries (Liberte on the corner is a stand out!). The staff at the hotel are excellent, very friendly and willing to help. The rooms are very clean, with daily turn-down services and cosy but comfortable.

Given the price point for Paris (which is an expensive city for accommodation) the hotel is great value for money. The only major negative we would mention is the walls are very thin, so rooms that are adjacent to one another can easily hear conversations through the walls (not just muffled noise, but clear words). We asked to move rooms to be near the stairwell (as the ensuite was then between us and the next room) to get around this and it made a huge difference.

The hotel was very clean, with room service every day. The room was a good size, and the bed was really big and very comfortable. Location was within walking distance of 2 metro stations, and a very close bus stop, so that was very convenient. As it was December we did make use of the extra duvets in the wardrobe - they were very useful. The reception staff was very friendly also, and the WiFi worked perfectly.

There isn't much to be negative about, just very minor things. The room was quite cold (but the extra duvets, as I've mentioned already, helped a lot). The lift is unable to take heavy loads so my husband (a bigger guy) and I couldn't use the lift together at the same time. Last thing was that the walls were very thin so sometimes we heard other people. However these were not a big problem.

The hotel was one of the "afordable" ones in Paris (and I have booked early enough) but you do get all for that price. It is placed close to the East and Nord Gare and very well connected with the city centry with the metro lines 4 and 5. The rooms are smaller, but comfortable, clean and warm. It was really warm and cozy to stay in those rooms during the temperatures around 0 in Paris which made our stay perfect. They have a good working elevator. The wifi works perfect, breakfast was also good with some nice offer. People working at the reception and in the kitchen were extremly friendly and nice, which added the value of hospitabillity. They helped me with retrieving my forgoten stuff long after the check out which was extreamly wonderful and much apreciated. All in all, I would not mind staying here again when in Paris.

The hotel is very well located ,short walk from the main train station and multiple metro stations . A pleasant walk to many restaurants / bars and our favourite area of Rue Montorgueil. The staff make this hotel what it is .. so accommodating and helpful especially Toufik . Since I was there for my bday and our wedding anniversary they were kind enough to upgrade us to a superior room with bubbles and chocolate. The superior room though compact is very clean and had a large bright bathroom with a bath tub . Will recommend staying in this value for money hotel

The staff was fabulous - friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location was also fantastic - easy access to the Metro and Gare de l'Est, as well as near a number of wonderful brasseries, restaurants, shops, and a small but lovely market. The breakfast was quite good - while more limited than some we've had, it provided everything we wanted - including some of the best bread ever. We were in a superior room, which while small by American standards was more than large enough for our purposes. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot!

Scrambled eggs and sausage showed up at breakfast on Saturday but were both cold (a minor quibble), and on our last morning, items ran out and were slow to be refilled. I suspect if we had flagged that, more would have been brought out.

The stuff at the reception desk was very friendly and polite, helping me and my mother with any information we needed. Sergio and Toufik proposed us authentic places to visit for sightseeing and dinner and welcomed us every time with good energy and a smile! The location of the hotel is ideal, surrounded by many train stations, in a very beautiful neighborhood!

Room was small and didn't have good sound proof as I could listen the people from the other room but that's the case in most hotels in Paris..

The location was great, close to Gare du Nord and to Metro Station Chateau d'Eau. The room was clean, comfy bed, nice and clean bathroom. Wifi worked with no problems at all. Bakeries, Supermarkets (Lidl, Franprix) and the covered markethall Saint-Quentin all within a short walking distance. And not to forget the staff, which was so friendly and helpful (especially Toufik). We will be back for sure.

The room was a little small

Very nice location in a quite street, pretty close to the city centre, breakfast was nice, good coffee and very professional service by the entire staff. props especially to the veeery late check-out possiblity !!! that's one of a kind - hardly seen that anywhere else. Thanks especially to Toufik and Ahmed, and also the young guy with the very good english, we didnt get to know his name.

Friendly staff. Generous and good quality breakfast. Comfortable bed and reasonably size room for two. Our room overlooked the street but was quiet at night. Excellent location for easy access to all the sight of Paris but in interesting area in its own right with Canal St Martin at end of the street. Lots of good little bistros, restaurants and boulangeries to choose from within easy walking distance. Enjoyable stay.

Shower didn't work very well, decor could do with an update and rooms could definitely be better sound-proofed from the noise of other guests. Not much else to complain of.

Bed so comfortable that it was hard to get up and go sightseeing. Bathroom with shower tub combo was large enough to comfortably dress. The area is close to both Nord and Est train stations, many metro stops and busses. There was a wide range of food choices within easy walking distance.

Elevator is very tiny It only holds two people and is tight with luggage. The tub is a great size for soaking but a little high for getting in and out safely (although they did provide a short stepping stool).
