Hosts were great. Very welcoming and allowed us to change rooms. Loved room 15 which had a balcony and panoramic mountain views. Breakfast was good with two hot egg dishes (scrambled with cheese and over easy on a tomato slice). Each day there was a different fruit and pastry. On days when dinner is served, the menu is placed on the breakfast tables so that guests can decide whether they would like to dine. Several vegetarian options were available the night we had dinner. We enjoyed two very thin crust “pizzas” (can’t recall correct term), both of which were delicious. Enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the patio.

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our 3 weeks of travel. The rooms were a good size & the bathroom also. They also have numerous little extra amenities along with the soap they leave for you. There was a small patio. They have wonderful breakfasts and consider many country's eating habits on their menu. They have a wonderful outdoor covered seating area, but we weren't able to sit there because it was raining the 2 days we were there, but it is an excellent place to stay!

We were just disappointed in the weather, but still enjoyed our stay.

The scenery is very good and the breakfast is high quality. The owner is friendly and borrowed me a charger. You can mail the postcard in the hotel too. I love the decoration, especially the floral curtains.

It is not friendly with the traveller without a car. Only a bus which takes you to the hotel from the train station every hour. Also, the hotel is on the hillside, so it is a little bit exhausting to walk to the hotel from the bus stop.

The woners are very friendly and helpful. Very nice to Guest. The room is comfy and the bathroom is extremely new and clean. The lady woner is a great cook and the dinner is worth trying. The decorations are beautiful and the tables are arranged beautifully. The display of food is beautiful that I can't help taking a lot of pictures. I enjoyed my stay there a lot! If you travel by car, this is the best choice! If you travel by public transportation like me, pay attention to the bus table especially on weekends. In all, I had a great time there.

Alpenhotel Bergzauber beautiful, family-run hotel. With very warm, helpful and friendly owners who are passionate about running this hotel. Super clean, perfect breakfast and equally perfect dinner. The rooms are lovingly and comfortably furnished. Free Wi-Fi, free parking. 5 minutes to drive to Berchtesgaden. 10 minutes to drive to Königsee. 8 Minutes to drive to Kehlstein (Eagle Nest). I would recommend this hotel for short vacation.

After staying in several different hotels around Germany we found our favourite! The owners are extremely serviceminded, and the breakfast was amazing. The couple takes good care of their guests. The wife helped us with information regarding things to do around the area, and the husband made us some lovely breakfast bags for our journey (since we had to leave early on our departure day). Recommend strongly! 🌞

amazing scenic sunsets while eating a home made meal on the patio… a breakfast spread that’s made fresh! private porch in our room overlooking a meadow & forested area & mountain range in the background. it was my first time in Germany; and my wife’s been a few times. I’ve stayed in other mountain towns before, never with hospitality like this. super friendly and helpful customer service and above and beyond a great experience. I liked the drive up!!! but my wife didn’t. she doesn’t like driving (or riding in the passenger seat) anywhere though. so, an amazing - winding mountain road up to the house. super fun!

The grounds of the hotel and the outside courtyard were very beautiful. They served cocktails in the courtyard every night until 10:00 p.m. The breakfast was good as well, very generous!

Lots of stairs. Not much parking. Pretty remote.

This hotel never let us down at all. Friendly english speeking, fantastic view from room and well appointed. A car is a must to reach this hotel, would definitely return..

beautiful view, traditional Bavarian furniture and decor, but modern bathroom. The host couple were wonderful, kept the beer and wine going. Best breakfast.

Crowded parking, and there are lots of other buildings nearby which is a little different than the pics online. But the views are beautiful.
