Amaizing breakfast, wonderfull view and the pool is very special. The roads were clear of snow during December and we felt safe driving there. We enjoyed every moment!!! Excellent value for money.

Need to check the charges carefully. There were mistakes and wrong charges also in the restarant and in reception. 20 ero parking is not included in price.

Nice location in the Bavarian alps decent size room for the basic level fridge useful good sized beds balcony with chairs excellent breakfast facilities which served till 12.00 week days or 1300 on Sundays amazing ! good spa facilities which we used Good underground parking

Taking the full amount of the total cost for 3 nights (some € 900 ) 8-9 months or so before our actual stay ie the previous year was ridiculous in the extreme. i can understand taking a deposit perfectly acceptable but the entire amount and then no cancellation or flexibility either! Very unimpressed with what the 3 restaurants menus had to offer so much so we decided to eat out Should introduce some time scales/allocations for adults ONLY sessions in the swimming pool there was only one child in the whole facility which was constantly wining loudly this made our experience short and not much fun We both suffered with the lack of air con in the room seems to me for a 5 star hotel that should not be the case we ended up with the balcony door open

The staff is very friendly. The activity consierges are ready to help. The room and the entire hotel is very comfortable. Our room was large. The bar in evenings is a nice place to sit, with live music and a library. Very good choice of teas and The surrounding nature is fantastic, especially the walking tour around the hotel (1 hour) The view from the hotel is spectacular.

I had the most incredible stay at Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden, and let me tell you, I stayed in the panoramic room 255, where I woke up every morning to the most breathtaking panoramic view of the majestic Alps right outside my window. The room was spotless! The housekeeping team was so meticulous, they left no stone unturned in ensuring my stay was flawless. The bed was very comfortable! They even had this clever two-cover approach, which was perfect for those of us who have partners that like to "borrow" all the covers! But let's talk about the pool – oh, the pool! Set against the stunning backdrop of the Bavarian Alps, The pool seamlessly transitioned from indoor to outdoor with its automatic glass feature thing, adding an extra touch of magic. And guess what? The pool area was meticulously maintained, so you could just relax and soak up the breathtaking surroundings. And did I mention the gym? It was open 24/7. Though it leaned more towards beginner and cardio exercises, they had all the equipment you needed. The sauna and relaxation zone was a naked zone! It's the culture here, So i was told, as a middle ground, you can wrap your towel around. Now, let me tell you about the outstanding service I received from the staff at Kempinski. From the moment I walked in, they treated me like a VIP. The reception, bar, and staff members were so warm and attentive, they made me feel like royalty! They went above and beyond to anticipate my needs and provided personalized recommendations that took my stay to the next level. I can't thank them enough for their genuine passion for hospitality and for making me feel like a truly valued guest. The Activities team is top-notch and is the most useful and unique thing about this hotel!

They just kept changing my towels every morning! well, its expected of a place like this.

Everything!!!!! This was our second time to stay here, and just like before, it was amazing. The entire experience was outstanding, with nothing being too much for any of the staff to help us with. In particular, Victor, at the reception, was excellent. We needed some help with a few things, and he went above and beyond to help us out. He is a really excellent staff member as are all the staff. I was even able to get a last-minute massage in the spa, and again, it was excellent. Tatiana was an outstanding therapist, one of the best I have had so far. The food was fantastic, from breakfast, lunch, and dinner, everything was pure perfection. In particular, dinner in the restaurant on our last night. The staff were brilliant, so attentive, even providing us with specially requested deserts not on the menu. This is by far the best hotel we have stayed in, and we will most definitely be returning soon. Not to forget the location of the hotel, nowhere like it !!

Nothing, loved it all

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The rooms with the view have a stunning view over to Berchtesgaden. Rooms are spacious, well-equipped and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is probably the best going. Main restaurant is fantastic and snacks from the bar are very good. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly. The pool (indoor and outdoor) are lovely and the spa (no extra charge unlike some places we have visited) is very spacious, very clean and really well-equipped. Often some fantastic old and classic cars in the underground car park. Overall my wife’s favourite hotel - this was our third stay and we hope to visit again next year.

During our stay, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday special. They treated us to a chef's special menu, which was a delightful surprise and a testament to their commitment to personalized service. The hotel's location provided easy access to various outdoor activities, such as hiking and exploring the charming local towns. The concierge team played a crucial role in helping us plan our daily excursions, offering expert advice and seamless transportation arrangements. What truly set Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden apart, however, was the exceptional service provided by the warm and attentive staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine hospitality, and every interaction throughout our stay demonstrated their dedication to creating a memorable experience for their guests.

Our shower head was broken but they fixed it in no time.

Location is unbelievable. Facilities are great. Staff very friendly and helpful. My partner and I got engaged during our stay and received some complementary drinks and small cake.

Some minor incidents/miscommunications. Bar staff spilled our drinks at the Kamin Bar (on and around our table) which wasn't cleaned for at least 20 minutes after so we moved tables. Also a couple of orders at breakfast and at the Kamin Bar came wrong, but no big deal and were corrected. Only other minor mention is the pillows in the bedroom were not great.

This is the one and only unbelievable experience. Unforgettable view from outdoor pool to Eagle's Nest, trees, mountains, and snow, and very kind helpful staff all around. This hotel is a definition what a 5* hotel should be. The way the staff treats guests is inimitable.. Great breakfast, and oh those welcome drink shots! Rooms are quiet, and have a shower and a bathtub too, nice designed. I loved the glas view from the bathtub. Everything is super clean. Room service is fast, and offers good food. Thank you to the callboy who realised i left my phone in the car and brought it up to our room. This also prooved to me, that everybody carws for our wellbeing. I definitely recommend this hotel to everybody looking for a 5* experience. HERVORRAGEND! Danke schön an Alle im Hotel Kempinski Berchtesgaden! You guys rock!

Wonderful and well kept property, amazing spa area and staff. Great location to explore the area.

I was slightly disappointed with the dinner at the hotel restaurant, the price vs value for me was a bit wrong. I went for the seasonal offer and to be honest the evening before I had similar dish in a local place, where the food was tasting better and cost half a price what I spent here. It’s actually a pity, as the staff and the breakfast at the same place was outstanding. I ate there only one night, there are many places a short drive away in the towns around.
