The staff is very friendly, the location is amazing, close to anything you really need .

The menu is only in german, and it will be quite nice if they have some subtitles added to it . The staff there can explain but takes a bit of time and you don't really want to hold them forever 🤣

Beautiful views, peaceful surroundings. Spacious, quiet resort with relaxing atmosphere. Very clean everywhere. Very good breakfasts and restaurant. In our opinion a very good place for a longer stay ... but The hotel is not for everyone, it has its own rules (no minibar and fridge in the room, no TV, minimalist furnishings) and a specific character (lots of wood, focus on nature, slow travelling) but if you know these rules and you like such character then the hotel will be great for you.

The stay was very enjoyable, the comments below are minor and do not affect our overall impression and satisfaction with the stay, rather, it is to point out what can still be improved. 1. There was not enough space in the bathroom to put our cosmetics. 2. The loungers on the balcony are not very comfortable, you have to put a blanket and the situation is better, but they themselves are not perfect. 3. The ice cream in the outdoor bar was very poorly frozen (maybe we were unlucky) and therefore not very tasty.

Beautiful modern hotel with nice rooms, great breakfast and sauna. We were traveling as family with two kids. Restaurant has huge variety of food served during breakfast for allergic people as ourselves.

We were unlucky with weather a bit - it was raining almost all time during our visit. Hence we were not able to enjoy full experience of the hotel - beer garden was not working, outside tables were wet, swimming pool was quite cold to stay longer, etc. During a good weather these things would add even more enjoyment. Bar has no snacks. No kettle, fridge and cutlery in the room.

The hotel has a Scandinavian vibe and the view facing mountain was awesome. It has alot of potential to do better than other resorts because of the design and views. However we would expect better amenities ie mini fridge, kettle which were missing.

I can’t really count on the staff to deliver a nice birthday surprise. Had arranged for a birthday cake in advance for my partner but it came without any candles nor special greetings. Neither the hotel could provide candles nor could they advise how we can get it from nearby stores. Given this was planned ahead I expected more preparation from them. They also delivered the cake like it was off the rack, no well wishes and all. I wonder how they plan for events and celebrations- they should really look into this.

Every aspect of the entire hotel! We could see the Eagle's Nest from our balcony! The view was incredible. The room was warm, but they gave us two BRAND NEW water cooling fans, which cooled our room nicely. The kids loved their loft. We enjoyed the privacy below. The bathroom was spacious and clean with wonderful amenities like robes, plenty of towels, Q-tips, shampoo, lotions, etc. Breakfast was 5 star, truly. Omelets made to order, fruits, breads, coffees, juices, etc. The grounds were breath-taking. The pool and sauna were clean and enjoyable. The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and helpful. The hotel was spotless, like new! It did just open in Nov 2021.

We were disappointed that the outdoor biergarten did run out of most of the food on their menu around 730pm. We did order the burgers and fries they had left, and they were absolutely delicious. Just would have preferred more of a selection that early in the evening. Or the option to order from the indoor menu, but eat outdoors in the casual biergarten area.

It was one of best places that we ever stayed at and the breakfast was magnificent. With a completely amazing mountain view, there were even plates, spoons, forks and knifes for us to borrow. Best of all, all the staffs were very friendly and everything was sparkling clean. Everthing was spectacular even though the price was not that high. This was just trully one of the best places that we ever stayed at.

There was no one to help us carry the luguages and our house is far away from the lobby but there is only one dislike and in total everything was amazing.

I can't say enough good about this place. It's new, modern, and has attention to detail. The lotions and soaps are made on property and are really, really nice. We wanted to buy some. They aren't for sale yet to the general public.. but soon they will be! The breakfast is super good…breads, omelette station (the girl there makes the BEST ones...and is super friendly), tea station, coffee, eggs, yogurt, meats, cheeses, and the list goes on and on. Rooms are comfortable and with an awesome shower. The only negative is sometimes it gets warm in the room with no AC. We opened the door and it seemed fine though. Great views and awesome setting. Love it and want to come

The layout of the entire property was excellent for families. the children’s park near the picnic area allowed kids to play and parents to relax. the rooms with bunk beds for families were so appreciated and a rare find in Europe. the food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner. the bar and bar staff were top notch. the provided robes and towels were a wonderful touch.

the rooms have beautiful views but not much shading so the light comes into the room early. the pool area needs more seating. lounge and tables would be great.

Everything was perfect, far beyond my expectations, strongly recommend whoever travel to King’s lake stay here at least a nite. Friendly staffs are not only at reception, but everywhere, at restaurant, at room for cleaning. Though I was traveling alone, they didn’t let me feel like being alone, started from greeting, small talk at restaurant, they even concerned my staying and traveling experiences in Germany. Cozy room, comfort bed and amazing view from room, fulfills with wooden smell in room, fresh air in balcony. Moreover, they really put effort on maintaining green, friendly environment, I haven’t seen anything plastic except the trash bags, almost all used by paper/ wood…etc.

Unfortunately, bus runs every hour, if you would like to go to lakes or other sightseeing point, you might need to transit at train stn, probably spend lots of times on traffic if you are too relax to check the time schedule. Hotel itself, the only thing to complain is that I wanted to tip who served me at restaurant, but for some reason they didn’t charge me at the end, I felt myself impolite and sorry to him!

* Next to a main road, although set back sufficiently so that road noise is not an issue * Quite a bit away from everything (nothing in walking distance) * Soundproofing of rooms leaves much to be desired—it almost feels as if they forgot about this issue! * Poor room amenities (no water cooker, no coffee maker no TV) - although, with the poor soundproofing, the lack of a TV was a blessing * Overpriced restaurant * Nice movement/Yoga room & outdoor pool but no gym.
