Nice big room with an superb shower and a daily stocked free mini bar (beer and soft drinks, some chocolate and crisps).

The daily cleaning was not satisfactory. Generally the room didn't feel tidy. Also, the used coffee filter was not removed and the window was let open !! Thankfully there was no storm that afternoon. On the second day we got back at 3pm and it was not even done yet, but on the day we checked out a cleaner knocked our door before 9am and wanted do the cleaning! Also, on check out there was not enough staff at reception and the waiting time was excessive, about 20 minutes.

The hotel is very cool, with amazing views over the zoo (if you chose that room option). A great selection of eating/drinking areas. Room quite small but adequate. Nice free mini bar (note - you have to request it to be re-filled every day at reception). Hammock in window a nice feature. Amazing breakfast on the roof top terrace with the best views over he city. Neni Restaurant very good - Korean Chicken sooooo tasty! Bike hire very reasonable (10 euro a day or 5 half day) and perfect located to cycle through Tiergarten and further afield. Reception staff lovely and very helpful and friendly.

We had to move room after first night being on 9th floor (below the 10th floor bar and very loud thumping music). This was despite me being assured the noise would be no problem to us when booking in! This seems to be a regular problem as a couple from 8th floor were also moving rooms for the same problem. The drain in shower was also blocked in the first room. The "wardrobe" hanging space is not high enough so dresses drape over the floor, the fixed magnifying mirror is so high up I could only see my eyes in it (I'm 5'6"), both things not very well thought out for women! Seem to be a feature of 25 Hours hotels as same in Copenhagen - not very well thought out. Bed quite hard. Roof top bar VERY busy and quite difficult to get seating in the evening.

Where to start: We stayed for a girl trip and having the 25 hotel as our hub was perfect, specially because we needed chill time in between going out. The reception area is a great place to chillout: the hammocks to take a nap, the coffee shop area+ balcony. The breakfast is EXQUISITE, served in the beautiful Neni restaurant, don't miss it if you're a breakfast person. The rooms were great (medium urban and one jungle) , different amongst themselves but all had a small shill area, AMAZING shower, very comfy bed, a speaker and complimentary mini bar. The Jungle SPA is a great vibe: good Sauna and relaxing environment, we chilled there for an afternoon. We had dinner in Neni and also: amazing food, very quick service and amazing ambience. We did manage to go to the famous Monkey bar and were disappointed that the music was playing on an automatic playlist and no DJ was there. But over all, 10 out of 10 will recommend: it made success with all the very different guests staying in the group

Check in was a bit slow and we had requested the rooms be all together in Janualry (Stay was last weekend in June) . Since our room needs to be on a certain floor to have card access to it we couldn't even go in between each other's room which at times wasn't ideal. Would like to have an earlier access to SPA, but all these are minor things

The Design. Absolutely fabulous. Truly.

1. Definitely needed a coffee maker in the room. Need a coffee to function in the morning. Cafe in reception didn’t open til 10am so had to dress and get the lift to the restaurant for coffee and carry back down before starting our day. 2. Really needed European TV. I speak French and Spanish but my German is not good enough to watch tv with. I know Berlin is a night city but we walked out little legs off all day and fell into bed exhausted at the end of our fabulous days. TV would have helped us unwind for an hour or two before sleep.

The staff were excellent professional and helpful. Having Monkey Bar on the top was fun. The location is in a very modern and clean area and well connected via public transport. The room design was quirky and interesting as well as the hotel. The 3rd floor with the reception, work space, terrace is very nice and comfortable.

The lighting in the room at night is really bad and dim. very uncomfortable for the eyes. The Tv had very few channels and only one english channel working. The drinks and cocktails at Monkey Bar was super expensive. Average price for one cocktail is 15€.

I’ve a regular for many years and I just lovelovelove this hotel, it’s location and the vibes. It’s still magic!

There’s absolutely nothing not to like about this hotel. The only thing is that I did realize this time that I’m getting older and some things personally have changed which made some things, like the heavy doors and dark spaces a little bit of a challenge. But the concept is solid, consistent and steady for many years, which is not easy to keep up. It’s still on of my favorite places to stay, especially, when in Berlin!

The staff, feeling, athmosphere with all the plants, sustainability and eco-friendly setup! Location is great and near to the train station Zoologischer Garten with local and S-Trains and U-Bahn U9,U2. Download and use the BVG App with 24h tickets for A,B Zone (which is enough) and travel with whatever you can publically in Berlin ;).

Some "renovation" work needed for some of the facilities and it smells like sevage in the whole building/hotel, maybe there is an issue but it wasn't too bad at all! More vegan options needed.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We were lucky we found a room as we only booked 6 days before traveling following recommendation of a friend. Amazing location next to the zoo where we spent our first day there with our 18 month old son. The area is busy but relaxed at the same time with cafes and restaurants and shops in a walking distance and easy access to the metro/tube which we also used. The hotel has a great restaurant and a bar. We only visited the restaurant for lunch (and also every morning for breakfast which was delicious with several options) as our son would probably not be allowed entry to the monkey bar but the cocktails looked amazing and there was a queue outside the hotel every night to visit the bar. The view from the restaurant/bar is also great as they are located on the 10th floor and look towards the zoo. We booked the XL urban room as it was the only one available at the time of booking and it was indeed quite large and we were very comfortable. I understand that other rooms have direct views to the zoo which we didnt have but we could still catch that view from the restaurant where we had breakfast and lunch so wasnt that important at the end of the day. I had also made several online orders and the receptionists were really friendly and had kept all of my parcels and delivered them to me on arrival without any complaints which was very helpful. I really hope we can visit again one day!

Innovative, spacious big room, interesting interior design, views, comfy beds. Great bar and restaurant on the 10th floor . Environmentally conscious

Extremely casual, no help with bringing suitcases in even after asking for help, bad luck if you can’t do it yourself. Really dark lighting everywhere. Don’t go to the monkey bar after 9pm if you’re over 45. Possible to hear disco beats on 9th floor rooms

Very unique hotel with great interior design and lots of details. Loved the record player and boom box in the room and spacious shower. Friendly staff at reception, smooth check in, breakfast wasn't exceptional but good, location was great and the view from the restaurant on the top floor is stunning.

When we kindly asked for a table for lunch in the restaurant, the staff made a very weird and arrogant comment without any context "you're lucky that you're a hotel guest, so we'll give you a table", unacceptable in my opinion. The beds are built on a wooden platform and are very noisy. There is a free mini bar but it doesn't get refilled once consumed.
