Great location, central to many shopping, sight seeing, and dining options. The staff were very friendly and helpful when asked for information. The bed was comfortable and the TV allowed us to connect through chromecast, which was nice to have available. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Berlin.

Sometimes the duvet cover was too small to cover the inner part which didn't look nice. The same issue for the pillows where the pillow cases didnt match the size of the pillows, making them a bit ugly to look at and sometimes uncomfortable to use. The shower also constantly leaked out water but it wasn't unmanageable. Overall these are small issues, but still noticeable.

Modern hotel with good size rooms and in a good location. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and pleasant.

The hotel seemed to be at the budget end for staffing in numbers and professionalism. On our last night our room card would not work and I went to reception to enquire why not. The person on duty asked when we were checking out - I had paid in advance for 3 nights - then reactivated the card and handed it back without a word. I asked what the problem had been and he curtly explained that 2 night s had been entered not 3. An apology and a more detailed explanation would have been appropriate. Perhaps some extra training would help.

Loved the property, the rooftop, the friendliness of the staff and most of all, the comfortable room. i had street view on the 3rd floor and it was super quiet.

The shower has glass all around so if you are shy, that may not be for everyone lol. Also, the water ran out of the shower enclave due to bad design. Not terrible but still had to use up towels to dry the floor . Last, the cleaning crew start really early with hallway vacuuming so if you are a late sleeper, that is a little disturbing.

Location was quite good from walking distance to several U-bahns. Nice rooms, you get the basic stuff that you need for a pleasant stay. Quite a new hotel, so everything was still in good condition. You can change cleaning for free drinks at the bar which was nice addition if you don't need new towel every day.

Our room was on the first floor on top of the bar, next to elevator and the streets. Not the quietest but not as bad as we first though. Street noise was not nice. Even though we had all we needed the room seemed .. a little empty for some reason I can't put my finger on.

Big, bright, new room — nice and quiet. Very helpful front desk staff and cleaning staff! I asked for a kettle to make tea and got one right away. Everything was well-organized and easy. I love the neighbourhood, with the new Gleisdreieck Park and old Kreuzberg hill, and the lovely Bergmannstrasse area nearby. Good wifi, great design, all very nice!

There’s nothing I didn’t like! I would remark that my room had a cool glass shower stall right in the middle of the room. That was great for me as an individual and would work for a couple, but would not work if people wanted privacy in the shower.

Besides the upbeat chick style concept, the staff were very friendly, the location is just one step out from my usual preferences but this was only positive as did see an extended bit of Berlin with this stay. Room was priced well under any comparable and any budget hotel at the time, saving me loads of Euros. Hotel styling, customer service, check-in process, breakfast, location, design of the room, design of well everything. Top notch! 5 stars delivered at a budget. Yes, a stone throw further away from the more established brands, yet still less 2km walking distance from the likes of Checkpoint Charlie and another 1-2 for the rest of the main attractions.

Arriving by car, the street in front of the hotel is not ideal. But hey, that's no blame of the Ginn hotel and easily solved by parking on any of the side streets.

Overall a very clean, quiet and well-maintained hotel, staff is very friendly, it's in a pretty central part of the city, and there's a cool bio supermarket right in the building, and a very good Asian restaurant.

- The air conditioning, as stated in many reviews previously, is working, but not very well. I was unlucky to visit in a very hot week and the temperature wouldn't go below 22-23. For some people this may be ok, but I need a cooler room to sleep in. - The train stations are about 8-10 minutes walk away, wasn't a big problem for me though.

Amazingly comfortable and fresh new hotel with simple, but cozy and pretty functional rooms. Quick and easy self check-in / out. Very (!!!) welcoming, polite and helpful staff. Located in a quiet, pleasant and green district (though a bit distant from the public transport).

Transparent shower cabin facing the entrance door (awkward when housekeeping enters and see you in the shower). Mini-bar would be nice to have in the room (however you can get drinks and basic snacks in the vending machine at reception).

All of the staff we interacted with were very polite and helpful. I’m not sure if it’s a German thing but they all made us feel like valued. The room had a nice view and felt very clean. Also, if you Want the best sleep of your life this is the hotel for you.

Constructive criticism I would give are just a few small things: make a list of good restaurants, cafes and bars in the area to make it easy for your visitors. Add more water and other things to the mini bar. Facilities like a gym would also improve the quality of stay.

the bar area at reception and on the terrace to the front of the hotel has a great atmosphere. Staff at bar and reception were very pleasant and helpful. The complimentary tea/coffee & flavoured water station in reception was very appreciated. The top floor patio terrace area was great for meeting up and chilling out. The rooms were well furnished - sound proofed from street noise and top quality hard and soft furnishings. bed was very comfortable
