It's very close to a metro station. The views are nice, there's a cute little bakery/cafe just across the street which is perfect for breakfasts. Loved the beds. Very comfy, and there's some extra space next to the mattress for little things you might wanna keep close. I liked that it felt quite safe inside (more so than other hostels I stayed in). You get a card that allows you to get in, and there's a few locked doors before you get to enter your room. Wifi is alright and working fine. There are two lockers (per person) inside the rooms (although I didn't use them; I assume you have to ask for the locks because they were not there by default, even though I saw some people did have them), and some extra lockers next to the reception desk. Those get locked with a code of your choosing, and cost €2,70 per day. Super close to Tempodrom if you're searching for a place to stay near that particular venue :-)

I wish the bed lights would work. I booked a room shared with 7 other people and it seemed like none of the beds had working lights. Had to use flashlight after 22 or early in the morning. Towel costs extra. You'll probably end up having to use the public transport (which, again, is very accessible from the location) because there's not a whole lot nearby in comparison to the rest of the city.

Friendly staff, quiet and clean rooms (we had a private room), well located close to the metro. Breakfast was good and plentiful, well worth the 10€.

Don’t know that I have anything to complain about - but if you have to rent bed linen, why not include this in the price?

The location is really good. The u-bann station nearby has three lines passing by, really convenient. Also, the bed is comfy, and the room, with a private bathroom, where i stayed is really big. And most of all, the receptionist and other staff are so nice, that really help me a lot. Don’t forget to reserve the breakfast, they offers lots of food there, worthy!

Because the bathroom in my room has no drainage hole on the floor, so if people splash the water out of the bathtub when taking shower, the floor is easily to have water puddles.

Good location, very clean, great value, nice and cozy lounge to chill, good information on events and places to visit around Berlin.

A €5 payment for bedsheets for the two nights, which weren’t mentioned whilst booking. However, not a huge complaint as it was great value for money still,

The staff was really kind and the rooms were super comfortable. Also a good location for quick access to the metro. Drinking bar was a fun place to socialize with others.

It's in a bit of a weird neighbourhood but not all that bad. The cleaning crew came way too early. They already came to clean around 9am which is really early for late sleepers. Also, you couldn't use the showers from 9:00-9:20 because of this. But it was a great hostel.

Location, environment, ambience and security feature. The staff was friendly. Ample space and variety for breakfast (cost around 10 euros)

The beds did not have any curtains so there was no privacy when sleeping. Also one bathroom for 8 people is not a good thing. They charged extra 6 euro for bed sheets, they should mention before booking is made.

I was in a room for 8 guests with a private bathroom. The employees at the counter were nice and pleasant. The room was very spacious, the mattress was comfortable and the bed did not creak. The bathroom was quite larger than I expected. There was always hot water for shower. Buying a towel costs 3 euros. The metro that passes near the hostel makes a little noise at night but it didn't bother me personally. Overall a good experience and it was worth the money!

I would love a tiny dresser that you can put your equipment and clothes on. Although my room had a private shower, the hallway on the third floor smelled bad from the bathroom on the floor. I recommend to ventilate the corridor well and to add a scent diffuser in the corridors, it will greatly improve the experience of the guests.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and warm, breakfasts always fresh and served till late morning hours. There’s also a bar at the premises offering decent variety of drinks served at reasonable price.

The showers and lightning automation was timed very shortly.

Very friendly staff who spoke English, variety of foods served for breakfast. I asked for lower bunk bed due to health and got told it's up to occupancy when I arrive, however I got a room with regular beds so either someone took my request into account or I got lucky

Excellent hospitality. Upon arrival, we were asked if we wanted a drink of any kind free of charge. Checkout was very easy and staff were eager to help with directions/ways of transportation questions we had. The hotel itself is super cool vintage/retro feel. The rooms were clean and lots of places to keep your things. Beds were comfy and pillows were large/soft. The bathrooms were very clean and close to the rooms. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was good too and cheaper if you buy the night before!

The hallways are big and tall so any noise echoes. I think we were staying with a school group who had no care for the 10pm quiet time. However, we told staff and they instantly came to enforce the rule and we had no issues afterwards.
