The stay at SO/Berlin Das Stue was wonderful. The staff behavior was on the highest level you could expect. Especially the porter at the front door was super nice to us and friendly. We were offered to have the car parked right when we arrived which was nice. The attention to detail in this hotel is at the highest level. Our room was good size, very nicely designed and with a large balcony overlooking the city. The pool is beautiful and was almost empty everytime we went there. The sauna is smaller, but beautiful. The breakfast at this hotel is truly amazing and great value if you prepay the breakfast. You can get as many servings as you want. The restaurant during the day or evening is also very good. The gym is smaller, but well equiped with modern machines including Peloton bike. The location is a bit off the busy street, but very calm next to the park. You can get to Ku'damm in about 10 minutes walking, which is nice. Or, the hotel provides bikes you can rent.

If you would be in a rush in the morning, come early to the breakfast. It is not the fastest, because it is not a bufet, so you need to order and wait a bit to have the dishes prepared. But for a holiday it is not a big deal at all! We enjoyed our time having breakfast.

Super fun hotel with lots of character. Our room overlooked the zoo if you looked sideways and we could hear the lions roaring. The hotel has a private entrance to the zoo which is really fun to use after buying your tickets online. The hotel felt like it was in the country (bordering the Tiergarten), but you can walk to Kurfurstendam. And it was a short walk to public transportation. Nice breakfast. Lovely modern room with great bed. Helpful staff. Relaxing pool (could even do short laps). Nice restaurant behind hotel on lake. We loved it!

The staff both front and back of house were particularly affable and friendly providing excellently attentive service with a smile with an effort to remember your name! The hotel decor was extremely easy on the eye with great attention to the design detail experience and true comfort. The hotel is located next to the Tiergarten which provided a central yet peaceful break from the usual, hectic character of Berlin, it was in short an oasis, a haven, a sanctuary.

Amazingly friendly and professional staff from start to finish. We had a very luxurious and spacious room which was just like the photos on the website. We had not stayed here for over a year and a half but were welcomed back as friends and were made to feel completely at home.

It feels expensive for what it is.

High end boutique hotel in quiet green street, nice neighbourhood. Nice interior and large, very comfortable rooms. Generous breakfast served by the table by nice staff. Overall good service, nice staff.

Food was only ok, for such a nice hotel it felt a little “cheap” with small details such as that the orange juice was not fresh (ie concentrate) or the “guacamole” was from a tube… The room service menu was also very limited. We had the burger for lunch one day and it was so so. Also a detail but the fact that the shower was “a plastic cubicle” also did not quite feel to standard of the rest of the hotel. No big complaints, but just those small details missing from it feeling as a “real” high end hotel.

- Breakfast took extremely long and was just average, the staff looked overwhelmed and undertrained - Room design was modern and sleek but had little to do with the beautiful more classical design of the entrance. The room just felt sterile - The description stated they had electric vehicle charging but it is just a cable extension pulled through a window from an office. They failed to charge our car in more than 3 days.

Funky furnishings and uniforms. Excellent, knowledgeable staff. Always prepared to help with advice or assistance. Great breakfast.

Room was a little smaller than expected but cleverly designed. TV would have benefited from a Netflix app

Issues with the bathroom and the TV. Breakfast was just OK for the price., personelle behavior was a bit awkward in certain situations (welcome, breakfast)

The room service were very kind to arrange for us to get dinner shortly after the restaurant was closed. We get nice menu from the BBQ and the food was great. The pool and sauna in the Spa were very cozy and nice.
