I have used this hotel often and it has never failed to meet expectations. For Düsseldorf, it's my go-to hotel as it has been for over a decade. I was informed it would be modernising, but I do enjoy the loxury of the older rooms while looking forward to what the new rooms will look like.

This time, and for the first time ever, when I checked in my membership information, past stays and payment card information was not available on the computer. The attendant seemed to be a bit at sea over it and had to resort to asking me about all my card details again. After having used this hotel for decades, it was somewhat disconcerting and I hope that, next time I go there they will have sorted the IT issues. Also, the parking barrier was out of order, making it necessary to reverse up a curved driveway.

Nice hotel! Very kind & friendly staff that were very accommodating. (Especially Elena who looked up the routes for me!) Overall it was just like the pictures showed. So that's what you'll get.

My room (1017)'s shower had a little hissing noise coming from the shower hose when it was turned on. No leak just a little sound. (This was pretty much no problem at all really. Shower functioned just fine overall!)

This was the second stay in this hotel on the same road trip. I have used this hotel for decades and I have always been very satisfied. Although an older vintage, it has all the hallmarks of a business/luxury hotel, including thoughful extras like a UK outlet at the desk. I have reviewed this hotel a number of times, each and every time positively. A definite recommendation.

Very friendly, smiling and supportive staff. Good location in terms of access to public transport for the downtown part of the city. Clean, quiet, a nice place to relax and enjoy Düsseldorf

I paid for an upgrade to a higher floor 35 Euros. However the view was rather limited , a narrow part of a city landscape in between two humongous buildings. Next time I won't spend the money.

I received the excellent service I am used to at this hotel, as I always do without fail. I stay at the hotel several times per year and it never fails in its great service.

There was an issue with the doorbell from the parking lot to the basement entrance and, as I arrived late, it caused me to have to bring my luggage up to the front entrance. However, I can't fault the property for a temporary failure of its electronics.

Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel was well-located for the Messe and the Aldstat. Good selection at breakfast and the room was comfortable enough.

I would have preferred a walk-in shower, and location wise there was very little within walking distance.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, nice beds. the 24/7 shop inside the lobby, is a great step up from just the standard minibar.

The bar closed at 23:00. I was in Dusseldorf for a concert, and came back to the hotel around 23:10 I feel having the hotel bar in a busy city, closing at 23:00 is too early.

Room size was acceptable, and met the need.

The room hygiene was not acceptable as lots of previous guests' hair was spreading over the carpet, which is relatively old. Housekeeping response very poor with respect to this matter.

PL CHANGE THE MENU EVRYDAY IF SOME ONE ISTAYING FOR 5 - 6 DAYS THEN IT IS REALLY BORING TO SEE THE MENAU EACH DAY .

TELEPHONE SHOWER IS NOT A GOOD IDEA
