Nearly perfect small hotel with a nice breakfast.

Near the Hauptbahnhof which means a few unsavory people on the streets..

As a transit hotel to catch the train connection from Frankfurt, I think it is a very good choice. The room is clean. Frankfurt central station is just 10 minutes walk maximum. You can also find easily different restaurants in the perimeter. Even if it is in a train station area (that is normally very busy area), the hotel is located in a bit isolated corner so that you can't hear the noise from the streets.

As mentioned above, it is located in a central station area where the street around it is not a really ideal place to stay or walk for family with children or solo female traveler. But, otherwise you just need to be more vigilant and avoid walking around late in the night.

The hotel is good.

What I didi not like had nothing to do with the hotel itself but with neighborhood. It is middle of worsest area in Frankfurt. All night and all Saturday I saw drug dillers, drug addicted people and a lot of garbage. There was Police presence but officers did not react. I have visited many German cities and it was first time when I expierience things like that. It is a shame that Franfurt Police and city council accepts that situation.

The hotel is good value for money - it is cheap and the surroundings are a bit sketchy but the staff are all very friendly, it is very clean, and it is in a perfect location for the train station and other connections around Frankfurt. The toilets and showers were also very well maintained and cleaned. The breakfast was as expected for the price - no frills but entirely edible! The room was warm and the bed was comfortable.

I don't think the hotel can do anything about the area around Frankfurt main station. The breakfast was not the best - the eggs were very hard and the bread rolls and croissants were dry but it was edible.

The hotel appears to be recently remodeled. The room was clean and modern. The bed was fine not overly hard or soft. The check in and out staff were pleasant and helpful. It is very close to the Frankfurt Central Station and an easy walk. It was a little tricky to find the hotel. You have to pass through a hall to the inner courtyard. Once you find it is very convient.

Okay, lets face it the area around the HBF is a little seedy. As a single man walking through the area I felt safe. I don't know if I would recommend this area for families with small children. The area is served by public transportation to easily get around the city.

1. Room was spick and span. An electric kettle was provided upon request. 2. Excellent transport options available. 3.. I found the location good, but some guests beg to differ. It is an easy 7 min walking distance from Frankfurt Hbf. Numerous shops, restaurants and eateries nearby. The controversy arises as its adjacent neighborhood is a red-light area with girlie bars and sex shops. Nevertheless, the hotel is safe and its surroundings did not bother me.

1. Breakfast choice was somewhat limited. There was no hot cooked food eg omelette etc. 2. Reception is not manned 24*7 Not a deal-breaker as you can access your room any time with a card key.

Very helpful people working at the hotel, cleanness is excellent, breakfast is very good, warm, comfortable, everything works well, very close to the center, the surroundings are not so bad as some people describe in the review. We were coming back in the night and have no problems with anyone at all. There were some people outside who is better to avoid, but you can see them from a distance and walk on the other side on the street. They were not interfering with us. The central railway station is few minutes away. You can get transport everywhere very easily.

The pillow was huge! It would be better to have 2 of a smaller size.

This is a very good budget hotel, where I've stayed twice. Conveniently located near the Bahnhof, but on a quiet side street unpopulated by the somewhat sketchy types one usually sees around railway stations. The rooms are small, but extremely well designed and spotless. The breakfasts are plentiful.

The only problem was street noise on the weekends, if your room is on the street side (for which the hotel actually provides ear plugs!). Try to get a room on the back side, some of which have small balconies opening onto a quiet courtyard.

The hotel was great, imcluding breakfast.

The two street blocks around the hotel are full of people consuming all different types of drugs, including smoking crack pipes, passing out across the sidewalks, all this in broad daylight, like I have never seen it before. A lot of police around warching, but not interfering what is happening. The streets are full of trash and dirt. In the late night those addicts find their places to sleep but then the party people to and from the ttain station walk through the streets all night making a lot of noise. The hotel itself is great and a very safe place, parking is in a locked garage, but the surroundings might be challenging.to some.

The staff was helpful, attentive, and they were nice people. They let me check in even in the morning! I put the no cleaning sign on the door and I they gave me new towels, shower gel and a bottle of water when I came back. The room was bright and the bathroom was very clean! There was a variety of food on the buffet table during breakfast time and it was great!! I would say it is good value for money and it also very close to the Frankfurt main station.

However, the location - it is closed to the area where you can see the homeless people and drug addicts around. It's better to get back before it gets dark or take a taxi back. You won't feel safe to walk back when it gets dark.
