Holiday Inn Express Frankfurt Messe, an IHG Hotel

The breakfest was good (fresh and clean) The room was very clean but a little small without Refrigerator the bed for the childeren was not good because it was a sofa that was changing to the bed. There was an employee that could talk Persian and it was very good for us

Room is very small for 4 persons, but if you use the room only in the evening to sleep is fine. Hotel must change old sofa beds with heavy iron on a side because someone who sleeps lively during the night can hurt himself. The mattress is comfortable, very comfortable on the queen bed as well but if you have 2 children 5 and 7 years old who can fall off the sofa bed during the night, in that case this sofa is not recommended. In our case, I slept on that sofa, and my husband and two small children on the queen bed. The bathroom is excellent, clean, there are enough towels, there is no refrigerator in the room (we needed one). Also, parking costs 18 euros per night - which is a lot, otherwise you have to park anywhere in front of the hotel, and if you have a full car overnight like we did, then you run the risk of someone breaking into your car and taking everything. I don't know how safe the neighborhood is. The breakfast is excellent, not just the usual continental as it says on Booking, much more than that, the breakfast is excellent. It is certainly an accommodation for every recommendation. As well you will be charged extra 2 euros per day (daily tax) - this is not mentioned on Booking - so it costs us extra 8 euros for one day. There is an air-condition in room, but the window cannot be open widely, only on kip.

This hotel was exceptional value for how nice it was. Rooms were modern, but on the smaller side. They made very good use of space when constructing the building. We were a family of four and we stayed in a room with a pull out/sofa bed. It was tight at times but it worked very well as we were not in the room that much. We stayed a full week and had no problems. Breakfast was good and everyone was very friendly. Bar had decent pizza and food at night and a good selection of beer. Can walk to the train station from this location as well.

Rooms could have been bigger but we didn't expect a huge room at this price point.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very kind. My German isn't very good and even though they do speak English, they let me try and work on my German skills. The room was a good size and clean. The location in proximity to the train station is ok. Easy bus ride of a few stops.

They had us park across the street in a gravel lot that was under construction. We could see an actual hotel lot out our window so idk why we had to park across the street. I didn't find the bed comfortable but my husband did. Just personal preference. The area seemed a bit sketchy at night but we never felt unsafe.

Location. The booking was made on the basis of it being near Frankfurt am Main Hauptbahnhof mainline railway station. It is certainly not near. It was fortunate that the weather was good and I did not have too much luggage. In any other circumstance the 30 minute walk would have been difficult. The food menu at the hotel is very limited: just pizza and chilli con carne. it is quite far from any restaurants / takeaways / shopping centers, very inconvenient.

While going for a short trip in Frankfurt we've stayed at Holiday Inn. We went with our whole family (in-laws included) and 5 kids. We were really well received by the receptionist who was quite friendly and patient with us. Everyone at the reception gave us a warm welcome. They helped us with all the questions and doubts we've had about the hotel and the city. The room was clean and comfy. For the price we've paid we've considered the room quite luxurious compared to other hotels we've stayed at in the past for the same price or even more expensive. The flexibility of having 10 people in 3 rooms also helped us a lot. Many hotels don't accept big families like that. The breakfast was amazing too. So many options and yet the quality of the food was great. The checkout time (12:00) gave us no stress or rush, we could enjoy every hour until the end. We are really thankful for the whole experience and we won't forget it.

For a short stay it was really good value for money, the rooms are clean with comfy beds and enough amenities in the toilets for the whole family. We were graciously provided with a baby cot as well. The breakfast is excellent compared to similar priced hotels in Frankfurt and staff are very active during breakfast hours to clear up used tables and refill the consumed stuff.

We very warmly welcomed by a friendly receptionist, room was well prepared and clean. Breakfast was a nice bonus, we could choose from different options. Staff at the breakfast was very friendly, too. Everything what you need from a stopover hotel.

We could not adjust the temperature and it was rather warm for sleeping in the room. Unfortunately, we (family with small children) got a corner room right above the place where people went to smoke, so we could not really cool down the room by opening the window. And corner room also meant to see right into the neighbours room (and it was an uncomfortable fact).

The staff is very friendly as always. Nice breakfast. Room very clean and tidy. The place is perfect if you are traveling with a dog, because there's a very nice park just around the corner facing the river. The location is also good, walking distance to the center.

The room was quite hot (24 degrees celsius) and no setting of the AC controll seemed to have any effect on it. There could be more vegan/vegetarian options in the breakfast menu. The rooms are rather small.

The hotel in general is very convenient - big rooms, nice facilities, and a wonderful breakfast.

I can’t think of a genuine thing that is extremely disturbing in this hotel. The only thing that I would like to mention just for the hotel to be aware of it in case they would like to improve it. The sink was a bit irritating as it splashed water all over the place. Other than that I was quite happy with the experience.
