Great location if you are traveling by train or via Frankfurt Airport (airport reachable via train, takes about 10 minutes). 5 min walking distance from Frankfurt main station (exit South). Close to lots of small shops and restaurants, plenty of international food choices. I also walked to ZEIL (shopping area) and came back with a cab. I felt very safe in this hotel as a woman traveling alone, despite the reputation of the area. Room was modern, convenient, spotless clean with a new bathroom and comfy bed. I loved that minibar, breakfast and toiletries were included and staff were friendly folks. Keep a few coins ready to pay the tourist tax at checkout. Much better value for money than the expensive airport hotels, and one actually gets a glimpse of the city. Recommendation!

April 2024

Stayed at the Hotel Europa for 3 nights in early April. We dropped off our bags on route to car hire return and when we got back to the hotel they had sent up our bags to our room. It is a family run hotel with very nice staff. Check in was very quick and Sunni gave all information given as to wifi and breakfast times etc. We were on the 7th floor and the room was large ( No.72 )with two TVs and a double and single bed, room controlled air con and a well lit and ventilated bathroom with a walk in shower with plenty of towels, hair dryer and good extractor fan. Hot water flowed within a few seconds of turning the taps. the room had 4 fully opening triple glazed windows which cut out the street noises very well. The mini bar fridge was quite at night and stocked with water and other mineral drinks free of charge. The room was very clean and made up every day. The breakfast was very good with fresh bread and croissants ,fruits and cold meats. you can have eggs cooked to order boiled, scrambled ,fried.. They have a selection of teas, coffee and juice. The hotel has a tram stop at the hotel for access to the rest of the city and the main train station is a 4 minute walk away. There is a small bar coffee room at reception area

Parking was limited but most hotels nearby were the same

I have to say this place really underrated!! The location is perfect: simply less than 5 mins walk from the main station. And the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The size of the room was okay but good enough for a solo traveler. The shower is AMAZING!!! Strong hot water!!! WIFI works just perfectly and they even have complimentary water and drinks in the fridge. Not to mention the pretty decent breakfast they offer. I'd certainly stay here again if I were to visit Frankfurt next time!!! Highly recommended!!!

Nothing this time!!! If I am being picky, maybe it would be better if there in one extra light for the table area, but overall it didn't bother me at all.

I stayed in Hotel Europa Life for 3 nights. The hotel is 7 minutes walking distance to the Hauptbahnhof, and if it wasn't for my luggage I would have walked to the hotel instead of getting a Taxi. It is located on the Baseler Str, and it's right across the S- Bahn, which it can't get any better. The Main River is also 7-10 minutes walking distance away from the hotel. the Zeil Strasse is also nearby, some 20 minutes walking distance. The room I stayed in had a queen bed which was so comfortable. The bedding was fresh and clean. I wish the pillows were a little bigger but no concern that it needed to be brought up to the hotel staff. The room was a great size with a sofa in it, and the bathroom was excellent as well. A little fridge came in handy, and so did the coffee machine. The breakfast was included in the price, and I can only say, PERFECTION. There was a variety of everything and anything in there. The ladies were super friendly and the tried their BEST to accommodate any little request I had. Excellent customer service. The ladies' names are Nina, Vjeka and Anita!!! Also, the customer service desk/check-in and check-out processes were smooth, quick and headache free. I will give a special shoutout to Malhar who served me the very first night. Also, per request I received Iron and the ironing board within minutes. I would definitely stay at this hotel in a heartbeat. Thank you, NINA, VJEKA, ANITA, and MALHAR!!!

Bigger pillows.

Location was very, very central with great accessibility - close to the main train station, tram stations, as well as amenities such as supermarkets, bars, and some local eateries. Reception was friendly, and the breakfast provision was also a nice surprise. Nearby museums and the Main river are very walkable. My room had a good view out of the window and straight into the windows of the opposite apartment, including a very handsome man who chose to walk around naked in his apartment without closing the blinds, and other fascinating anthropological sights of the neighbouring hotel.

My bedding arrangement turned out to be two single beds instead of one double bed - though the bed itself is pretty comfortable so not too many complaints. Some lights also weren't working. Breakfast selections were on the low end of the standard - could be improved with one or two hot dishes.

- Location is great: tram 16 operates from the station directly in front of the hotel, and the main train station is but a stone's throw away. Although the immediate vicinity around the main train station does not feel the safest, the side/street on which the hotel is located feels safe enough (definitely considerably safer than the other side of the main train station) - Staff are very polite, helpful, friendly & professional :) - There is a lift that services every floor, so we don't have to lug our heavy suitcase up the flights of stairs :) - Toilet in the room is very clean, water pressure for showering is absolutely perfect, hot water works great, and we really like the automatic sensor-activated tap :) - Beds & pillows are quite comfortable and smell clean :) - Breakfast is a simple affair but more than sufficient: on the buffet during our stay, there is an assortment of bread, cold cuts & cheese, the usual butter, jam, nutella, müsli, cereal, milk, juice, cakes, hard boiled eggs, and hot beverages. Plus, it is included in the room rate, which is not at all common in Frankfurt :) - Best surprise for us is that the beverages (bottled water, coke/sprite, beer) in the room minibar are complimentary & restocked each day :D

- Room is definitely on the small side, so moving around one another, the furniture & our bis suitcase is not the most fun. Yet in spite of its size, it certainly has everything one needs. - Floor in the room felt a little sticky as though it were never wet mopped, so do bring a pair of house slippers (these are not provided). - Airflow is not the best: our air conditioning unit seems to be locked onto the "heat" function and we can't get it to change to "cool", and opening the large windows brings relief, though leaving them open during the night is not the most conducive for sleep due to the noise from the street (our windows look out towards the back of the building, not the front where the main street is).

Great Location near the Frankfurt Hbf. Great value for the location. The included breakfast is superb with a mix of cold cuts, bread, muesli, yogurt, and fruit. Coffee and tea were also provided. Laundromat is a couple blocks away. Tram stop is right out front making it easy to reach Römerberg or the Städel Museum.

Neighborhood is a bit run down, or at least had quite a few folks loitering or sleeping overnight on the sidewalks. Safety didn't seem to be an issue.

Highly professional and friendly staff, we were made very welcome and unexpectedly offered complementary breakfast when checking in and waiting for our room. First impressions of the hotel were good, attractively decorated with lots of little touches throughout which given it a personality. Service was exceptional, what would be expected in a much more expensive hotel. We can't praise it highly enough! Room was small but very well finished and designed, en-suite well organised and felt freshly decorated. Breakfast was excellent, good selection and nicely presented, eggs cooked to order, staff friendly and attentive. Hotel is extremely convenient to both coach and railway stations. Highly highly recommended!

Nothing at all about the hotel - our expectations were greatly exceeded. While the location in the station area is very convenient, as with any city this is not the most attractive part of town, however we didn't feel unsafe.

perfect location, literally around the corner of the coach station and a few steps from Central railway station - we had a pretty quiet room facing to the backside - room came with a pre-filled (and free!) minibar with 3 beers and water - tram stop in front of the door - eating options and supermarket close by - very friendly and attentive staff - breakfast options were great and the variety of tea they had was impressive - we could leave our luggage after check-out for the rest of the day

just a thing to be aware of, the bathroom was quite transparent as from the room you could see inside the bathroom

Best location in Frankfurt, near to Main station and bus stand. Also, well connected to trams if you want to explore city. The hospitality of the staff exceeded our expectations, making this one of the best stays we've ever experienced. We chose a double room, which was small but clean and sufficient for our needs. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with complimentary drinks—a thoughtful touch. The gentleman at the reception, likely in his late 50s, provided excellent guidance on nearby attractions and ensured that our stay was both comfortable and homely. This level of warmth and care was especially appreciated, given that such hospitality can sometimes be lacking in other parts of Europe.

Nothing much as everything was just right as per our expectations.
