First impressions outside were doubtful but once we were inside and could appreciate the building and our room we were very pleased . We had dinner there and were very pleased with the selection of food, which was very quickly served , very tasty . Such a disappointment it was not more used. We needed more pillows and they were soon brought to the room.

We booked into the “Centro hotel “ but had problems finding it as the name “National “was more evident. I could not understand when on our first morning I heard the reception gentleman turn people away saying there were no vacancies yet the dining room gentleman said there were only approx 25 rooms occupied. Why were the prospective clients turned away??

Friendly staff, Good sized rooms with fridge, twin beds very comfortable, back of the hotel so limited noise, very convenient to train station and river for a run along the water in the morning.

Didn't realise there was no air-conditioning so on the few hot days we were there it was a bit uncomfortable at night but not unbearable.

Great location, close to Frankfurt main train station Don't let the exterior fool you. it's nice on the inside. Great value as well. We stayed 3 nights. The Indian restaurant next door is very good! Great front desk staff.

No air-conditioning, with windows open room cooled down at night. The average temp for our stay was 72 F.

Bed pillow n cover v.g. Kleenex n soap ok. The best is having the towel warmer/heater n was able to wash specially my socks. Location is excellent.

Elevator broken. Stairs was a hassle. Could not open window bec of the smell of chemicals fr renovating bldg next door.

English speaking staff, near the bahnhof and also the commercial center of Frankfurt. People at the front desk were also nice and honest.

While the street where it is located is not teeming with junkies and drunkards, the surrounding streets can get a bit scary at night as you can encounter again junkies and drunks. Still safe but try not to go back extremely late at night.

The hotel is a little bit old fashion but it is fine for us to stay for a couple of days. Toilet is clean and ventilation is good. Fan is provided and thus not too hot at night with the windows opened and fan switched on.

The beds are neither too hard or too soft, but obviously too old. It is a bit noisy on Saturday night outside.

The room is quite clean and the bathroom as well. The location for me was ideal as at the end of my stay I had to take a bus from the bus station, which is 5 min walking, not a problem to walk with suitcases.

The service hotel provides is really good for the price you pay.

Location is great, the hotel is old but in good condition and has everything you would need. Particularly impressed with how quiet the rooms were.

The check-in process was slow and clunky. The hotel was unable to process my card when I did the booking but then I paid with the same card when I go there ?

Located right next to train station. Room was spacious and hotel had historic (if slightly faded) charm. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The wifi signal was weak and kept dropping out. I had to give up trying to work in this room.

Large room and large bathroom with a good shower.
