Reindl's Partenkirchener Hof

The hotel used to be a luxury in the past, you may see from the interiors and available facilities that it used to meet highest requirements. It is perfectly clean as in the rooms, as in the common areas including spa.

We had a constant feeling that as of today the level of services in the hotel does not respond to the level they should be. There were constant tiny things, such as blocked wardrobe which was not repaired within a week of our stay, or messy staff in the restaurant, or miscommunication with the reception at almost all times we asked for something. The room we had was upper class, but it had not only a blocked wardrobe (ok, can happen), but also almost snatched out of the wall reading bra, which seemed to be in this condition for a long time. So after a week there we had a strong feeling that the hotel carries on without trying to improve.

The location was exceptional. Very near the bahnhof and easy to get around Garmisch. The hotel has all these somewhat hidden luxuries which they should promote more. I didn't know about the nice garden behind the restaurant and that there was a hot pool next to the pool. The bathroom was SPECTACULAR in my room. The service people were great at the front desk - provided tourist pass and helped me book day trip to Zugspitze and Eibsee.

The bed was a bit hard and I had to shift around a lot. It was hot and no air conditioning. My first night a huge mosquito came in room and it was very challenging to get rid of him.

Staff were friendly and hotel is clean and very comfortable. Just took me a while to find our room on my own because it's like a maze inside with the new buildings they built to expand. Facilities particularly pools and saunas were great and mindful with corona measures. I also booked a massage and it was awesome! Definitely worth it. Location is quite close to the center, walking distance so also not bad if you want to have an easy stroll. We were also able to borrow bikes from the hotel and ablw to enjoy the countryside.

The food in the restaurant for dinner is limited and quite expensive. So we opted to go out instead.

location is amazing, views were superb, room was big and the view to the mountains was gorgeous. Breaksfast was very good as well. it is located very close to the river and for thos ewho like jogging/running, there is a path alongside the river that goes up to the Gorge, which is great.

was fairly hot inside the room and there was no way to make air flow better even with the window/door open. Parking was a bit confusing with cars parked in wrong spots and also it is cumbersome to have to wait them to open the door that access the garage from the building everytime. It could be an easy fix.

Room was spacious, we had a sitting room which was a nice extra space. Breakfast was really good - made to order omelets on top of what was already on the buffet. Lovely old building with some unique decor made it a really interesting place to stay. Staff were fantastic, from the front desk to the bar and the breakfast host. View from our room out the back of the hotel was amazing - mountain view.

Underground parking was tight, even with a smaller vehicle, can't imagine how it would be if all the spots were full as limited room to maneuver.

Less than 300m from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen Bahnhof, and within 10-15 minutes walking distance to Zugspitz Bahn, Garmisch and Partenkirchen centres. A very Bavarian feel with the decor, a comprehensive breakfast spread with cold cuts, cheeses, warm food and cava. The jacuzzi with pool area is great for before and after a sporty day, and the sauna with steam area is a luxurious treat. The room is spacious, cosy and opens to a lovely little garden. We made so many wonderful discoveries from this 'hideout', including a river walk to the Partnach Gorge, Olympic ski stadium, Zugspitz and Wank mountains. The staff are wonderfully warm and attentive, thank you! The Reindl restaurant on site definitely a must dining experience for a unique interpretation of Bavarian fare, with great wines.

Sad to leave

The location is awesome. If you would like to stay nearby the Garmisch-Partenkirchen Bahnhof and cogwheel train station but want to avoid the nearby station chaos and also want mountain view rooms with big balcony along with nice in-house restaurant service, then this would be the perfect choice. The staffs were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. This central is just a 10 mins walk. In short, we loved our stay. ☺️

The breakfast could have included more options suitable for vegetarians or only-chicken (no other meat) eaters.

We stayed this hotel for third time - we find it excellent place to stay in Garmisch Partenkirchen. Location, spa centet, pool, breakfast, room, common spaces - all is of high quality and we can without doubt recommend.

The hotel is very fine, but of course this comes at a premium price. Nevertheless, similar hotels in the area cost significantly more (as per our search for the periods we stayed there), so value for money looks very good.

Lovely staff and room was small but comfy. The room was at ground floor and had access to a garden which was great for our little dog and us too. Breakfast delicious. We left for an early hike one morning and missed breakfast but they had packed sandwiches for us and a coffee which was very welcome since the coffee shops in town only open much later.

Nothing, all great

Staff and management were very friendly and nice. Cleaning service is honest and supportive. Restaurant dinner package menu (HB) was interesting experience, definitely, Chef was trying to bring some unusual and tasty moments. Region itself is lovely area in front of Alps. Location is convenient and easily reachable. In general, good choice with minor disadvantages.

I prefer when simple drinks (water or local wine) already included with a la care dinner, but it's not. Can't complain, it happens quite often.
