Very nice location, close to Alster lake. Clean rooms, nice breakfast. Senior manager very helpful!

At first we were sent to the room located at the basement - no lift available, steep stairs, mold smell and even urine smell when we opened the window as it faced the wall and a tiny backyard. There was no kettle in the room. Plus some issues with closing the safe, needed help to reset the setup. Wi-fi was quite slow. Staff was not helpful at all, untill the senior manager came up and solved the problem, so next day we moved to another room on higher floor, just what we expected to have while choosing this hotel.

all over Hotel Alsterblick is centrally and directly at the Alster located at the same time. It‘s in a typical Hamburg vila style building, with this unique Charme, but modernized. I got an upgrade from Standard to premium room, it’s was super spacious and comfortable! There is even a nice filled minibar (extra) in the room, a Welcome free water and a tea/coffee maker. the breakfast room has direct view towards the Alster and the breakfast offers a wud e and healthy range of everything- incl soy milk, veggie options, etc.

Historic belle epoque Stadthaus beautifully renovated and fit for discerning travelers who appreciate history and authenticity. Great hotel experience too; comfortable bed, quality furnishings, great breakfast. Amazing quality for the price. Lakeside location next to the Alster with coffee on a balcony overlooking was just magical.

Might have preferred bathtub to small shower, but honestly no complaints.

Breakfast is on two levels—- meaning, that some people have to carry their breakfast items up a steep staircase. It everyone’s cup of tea. In our room the coffee machine was broken throughout our stay, which didn’t make us happy. Our room was down a few flight of stairs which we had to reach with our suitcases and bags on our own.

We received upgrade to a more spacious room overlooking Alster which was very nice! Beautiful design & style of hotel and room with comfortable bed and big bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and hotel personal extremely friendly and flexible when we needed a bit later check-out and earlier check-in. Pleasure to stay there!

Beautiful building and rooms, furniture and great staff as well as a lovely breakfast. It is but a short bus trip away from the centre and beautifully located. We had a lovely stay, thank you.

This one is really just my personal taste but I would’ve loved to have a room as pictured without a full floor rug. The room was still amazing but wooden floors would’ve been the icing on the cake. :)

Breakfast was outstanding. Many choices like eggs, several breads, cold cuts and yogurt plus the finest coffee and juice. Beautiful view from the breakfast bistro to the Alster Lake. This is the one Hotel I recommend to any traveler.

Breakfast superb, excellent variety. Accommodated my request for an early breakfast due to departure time. Access to major bus line and a variety of restaurants. Major plus’s is the walking path beside the lake

Great breakfast, excellent location and helpful staff. The breakfast has a variety of fruits, bread and ham/cheese. I had an early morning flight and the staff was kind enough to prepare me an airport goodie bag. Thanks!

The room with lake view window has street noise. If you prefer something calmer take the garden room.
