The receptionist waited for me after the normal check in time, which I really appreciate. The room is super clean. The area is central and close to great restaurants and the lake. 4 stops from the train station. Really convenient to go to the station.

The price is slightly higher than expected. But the location might play a big role in the price.

What a gem! Even though it’s separate from the main building, it’s a really nice place for a very fair price. The crew, who are a family, we’re so nice and attentive! Strongly recommended!

Professional staff, friendly. My second trip to Hotel Mare was (again) very comfortable, this time my room included a huge balcony.

I think I described lot of things pretty good earlier in the survey. But I liked the place for a 2 night stay!

Stuff was very friendly, room was big and the decoration was nice. There was a big cupboard with a safe in it. Everything was modern decorated. Location was great, I could walk through the river to the university HAW.

There was unfortunately a construction and this was not clearly indicated during the booking process. Or it was written in a way that one could easily missed... I received an email prior to my stay but it was too late to re-arrange my stay on another hotel at that point. So it started to get noisy from 7am on, workers are working in front of the window. Pictures indicated balcony with a very nice view but what I received was a room blocked by the construction, no balcony or garden whatsoever. The receptionist informed me that this was clearly written in booking.com but I got the feeling that many people were complaining about the same issue and she was overwhelmed with the complains. So I just decided to settle with whatever is provided as I was there for work. There was no reception in the building, you needed to go to another building a couple of minutes by walk. The breakfast is also in that building, if you book one. Not in the Hotel Mare.

Our room was on basefloor, according reservation. Room was small with annoying canalization smell. Hotel Mare is more like appart rooms, but not hotel. They do not have their own reception and You need to use reception of hotel Miramar in anorher building on another street. Breakfast served in neiborhood hotel Miramar as well. Continental breakfast already served on table, cheese&meet plate, bread, jam on table for two persons is the same size as for single person. You will not be hungry, but you will need to share with your partner 2 slices of cucumber and 1 cherry tomato for example :) Staying here is not worth your money. If it will be 50 Eur it would be good choise.
