Everything was perfect

Breakfast was very delicious, with diverse choices of food; I very much liked the beans and vegetables and great coffee. The room was spacious, with a nice desk for work, good lighting, and a nice view of the sixth floor. I also enjoyed the fancy bathroom; the soap was superb, enough towels, very comfortable bed. The room was also quiet. The location was ideal as I could walk through the beautiful park to the conference center every morning, and the U3 train was just a few m away if I wanted to go to the city. If one has time, it is also very easy to take a walk to the city center. It takes about 40 minutes.

I have no complaints. Initially, I was surprised that there was no restaurant open in the evening, but one could get good food also in a bar, where they serve very good wine.

I love everything. The best hotel I ever stayed in my life. I'll definitely come back again.

Overall, we've enjoyed staying at Movenpick. The location is convenient to reach the other parts of the city. If you'd need to snack at night, you're able to reach the restaurants and other options. Breakfast was great. Yegane checked us in, and she was welcoming and friendly. We had a room towards the upper floors with a view of the city.

Noise isolation let us down. On one of the days, there was some sort of a party going on, and we ended up having to listen to some music we'd rather not, until midnight. The windows were closed, but there was no way to save ourselves from the music, presumably coming from the park nearby.

The hotel is beautiful and the history of how it was built was very interesting. The staff at reception and in the breakfast room was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

I tried to explain to a cleaner that she could start making up our room in 10 minutes but she didn't understand/speak neither German nor English. It would be easier for guests (and staff) if they could at least understand a bit of either language.

Interesting facilities in old water tower. Easily accessible, very close to public transport station. Only a few minutes by train into the center. The room was good, if not luxurious at least spacious and comfortable. A minus for a bathroom with bathtub and no walk-in shower, but a plus for the rubber duck. Staff was great, very professional and courteous. We forgot an item in the safe, and it was no problem to pick it up a few days later.

The room was a bit on the expensive side, although it was mid-December, i.e. Christmas market season, so a general phenomenon in the city rather than for the individual hotel.

Spectacular building; also I had a very nice view from the hotel room, overlooking parts of Hamburg towards. Room was very quiet. Location is convenient: different types of public transport nearby. The hotel itself is in a type of park, but there is a very lively neighborhood within walking distance. Plenty of choice for breakfast.

Seating in breakfast room is not very spacious. Although the inside of the building has a very unusual, modern architecture, there is a clear focus on using the elevators instead of the stairs, even if it just two floors to overcome, and although one sometimes has to wait for the elevator.

The personal and the breakfast were AMAZING! Also, we traveled with our small dog, and the park outside the hotel is a "leash free" dog area! Traveling with the S-Bahn was also super easy and the entire stay was just incredible. The breakfast is 100% the highlight!

I was a little surprised by our arrival that the hotel is online as "wheelchair friendly" and that to get into the hotel, you have to use a ramp style escalator. Normally this isn't an issue, but with luggage it made it a little more difficult. The staff was icredibly friendly and accomodating though and allowed us to use the service elevator.

Excellent Breakfast, wonderful view. Staff friendly & helpful. Great location. 2 minutes to station, 5 minutes to Sternviertel which has great bars & restaurants.

One of the escalators not working so after 24 hour flight had to push my suitcase up ramp. Our 15 floor room was great but no air circulation until we requested to have 2 windows opened slightly. Handles removed so unable to do it by self.

Pretty good stay. Had a lot of trouble moving our reservation around and they kept blaming booking.com and then booking.com was blaming them. A very nice manager ended up fixing things but it felt like a lot of nonsense and finger pointing for awhile
