A great location and a nice and spacious room

Recently, we stayed at a hotel where we were welcomed in the kindest way. This however, was NOT the case at Radisson Blu Hotel where the receptionist was downright unfriendly, unpleasant and unhelpful. We had checked in online, but had to suffer through a lenghty process with this person - who could not find the reservation. Such a pity for an otherwise great hotel Additionally, we did not get a room with a bathtub - as described on Booking.com.

Hotel : First, the hotel is really exceptional with all the facilities, luxurious rooms , tasty breakfast. In addition, the hotel is in the heart of hamburg and very near to train and bus stations. The Hotel is also next to a park, one of Hamburg's attractions. Vacation : I planned for vacation to Hamburg with family and searched for multiple hotels. I must say that Radisson is the perfect fit for families who plan for a vacation to Hamburg especially with kids. The hostel is exceptional with a restaurant, room delivery and even a refrigerator with drinks in the room. Parking : I drove by car to Hamburg and parked in the hotel ( make sure you park in contigent parking places where you get a ticket, if you park in congress center, the parking cost will be high). S- Bahn, U-bahn, buses are very very near and I used public transport to explore Hamburg. Its better instead of driving to tourist attractions and paying high parking fee. Overall, if you are looking for best and exceptional place to stay in Hamburg. Highly recommended.

It's one of the best place to stay if going to a convention at the CCH. The hotel has a direct connection to the CCH as well. The staff was amazing and helpful, the room was really nice, the only weird thing for me was, that the window blinds for the bathroom window was outside the bathroom, but beside that everything was as you would expect from such a hotel. Really close to Dammtor station, where you could get on both the S-Bahn and long distance trains as well.

For some reason, we couldn't connect to the Chromecast on the tv in the room, but beside that, there was nothing wrong with the hotel.

Fantastically nice restaurant staff!

The bathroom smelled rather strongly of public toilets and showed some signs of mould.

The location is great next to parks you can walk in and also next to a train station so you can get anywhere in the city with ease. The hotel itself is really nice and the breakfast buffet was the best i have had at a hotel yet.

I booked the premium room with panorama view and somehow expected to look into more than one direction like i expected a corner room somehow where you can see in 3 directions and the room was smaller than expected and had no bathtub. Which again was not a problem but for 260 euros you kinda expect a little more i guess? Than again hotel in germany tend to have smaller rooms i found out.

The hotel is in an excellent location and right next to the beautiful Planten und Blumen Park! City attractions are a short walk, bike or scooter ride away! A train station is right next to the hotel without being loud or intrusive - perfect to get to further parts of the city like Stadtpark. The room was comfortable and the size decent! We stayed on the 24th floor with gave us a glorious view! The gym is small but well equipped to help burn off the Fische Brötchen and curry wurst you’re bound to munch on all day. The room service is quick and efficient.

The staff weren’t always friendly or helpful. Other than that it was a great place to stay and I’d highly recommend it to first time and return travellers.

*Location was great, just next to Dammtor station. Easy to go anywhere in Hamburg by subway. It is also 10-15 mins walking distance away from Altstadt. *Stunning view of the city and the lake from the rooms. *Rooms are large and clean enough.

*Something was wrong with our room card. Each time we try to enter our room, we had to go to the reception and renew the card for some reason. *The room they gave us at check-in was occupied by someone else. We went down to the reception and asked for another room. That was a serious mistake. We could have found ourselves in an awkward situation with the other guests in the room, but we were lucky that they werent in the room…

The hotel is located next to to the congress centre which was very easy access as I was attending a conference there. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have a spectacular view of Hamburg. Room service was exceptional and food was delicious. The hotel is conveniently located and only 30 minute by S-bahn to the Hamburg airport. Plenty of restaurants and shops are within walking distance and Damtor park is right next to the hotel for run or a leisurely walk.

I'm probably nitpicking but the breakfast options were relatively limited compared to other business hotel I have stayed in Europe.

The location was superb, right next to Dammtor Station but more importantly right next to Hamburg’s stunning Planten un Blomen gardens. We had a very high room, which offered a great view of the city. The room had a very comfortable bed and whilst the rooms is showing its age a little (it had a shower over a bath) we liked the rather cool Scandinavian-style decor. Breakfast offered a good range of foods and though it was very busy, the staff moved people through efficiently.

One working coffee machine was inadequate at breakfast. Whilst the rooftop bar was super, especially in an evening, we thought the ground floor restaurant was poor value. There was just one unloved vegetarian selection (why can’t supposed trained chefs not prepare interesting vegetarian food?) and drinks were hugely overpriced.
