I recently had the pleasure of staying at DoubleTree by Hilton in Hannover, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness by Tobias, who made us feel incredibly welcome and special. The level of hospitality extended throughout our entire stay, leaving a lasting impression.Our housekeeper, who took care of Room 328, demonstrated professionalism and politeness in his duties. The room was impeccably maintained, ensuring a comfortable and clean environment for our stay. It was evident that attention to detail was a priority for the staff at DoubleTree by Hilton. The breakfast staff, particularly Katarzyna and Febi, were incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure that our dining experience was delightful. Their friendly and accommodating nature added an extra touch to our mornings, and we appreciated their willingness to assist with any requests we had. During lunch and dinner, we were fortunate to have Tristan as our server. His exceptional service and attentiveness truly made our meals special. His knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot on, and his friendly demeanor created a warm and inviting atmosphere. I would like to extend a big thank you to the entire team, for consistently providing outstanding customer service. Their ability to communicate effectively in English was a significant advantage for international guests like us. The hotel itself exuded elegance and charm, with a beautiful ambiance that enhanced our overall experience. The rooms were spacious, allowing us to relax and unwind in comfort after a long day of exploring Hannover. The cleanliness and attention to detail were commendable, ensuring a pleasant stay from the moment we entered our room.In conclusion, I cannot speak highly enough of our weekend stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Hannover. I like everything about this Hotel. This is one of the most comfortable, clean and luxurious hotel I have ever stayed. The breakfast was delicious. I had private Sauna and wellness, which is simply amazing. It is literally 4 minutes walk from the main train station.

I would recommend having 1 more additional staff at the reception. While I was checking out, there was only one receptionist and there was a queue to check out and check in. I wouldn’t have felt it if I was not running late.

Had a suite with balcony and it was worth it. Amazing room and wonderful Big balcony. The room was very nice with sofa and tv wich could be turned in 2 directions, towards the bed and towards the sofa/lounge area. The hotel has a perfect location for a city break. Close to trainstation and centre. Train station is allmost a city it self. The Hotel is nice, clean and very easy to find driving by car. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff very very freindly. Perfect hotel both short and longer stay.

Very nice room. Great breakfirst. Super nice, serviceminded and helpfull staff everywhere in the hotel. Really-really fantiastic roomservice. Loved the "Take your time" sign from the cleaningstaff, when we used the "Do not disturp" sign.

Missing panecakes, softboiled eggs, and bell pepper for the cheese ,at breakfirst. Noisy high volume ventilator in the bathroom. Not so effective shower-bathtup regulator. It was hard to get cold water quickly at the bathroom sink, since it had to run for a relatively long time.

Located about 10 minutes walk from the Main Railway Station which is handy to come from/to the airport. It takes about 10-12 minutes to walk to the Old Town with nice bars and restaurants. Wi-Fi worked fine without stupid registration and passwords. The iron and the board were available in the room - likewise a tea kettle.

Whilst the bed itself was good, pillows were a disaster! Water could have been free for everyone - not just for "golden/platinum" members (5 eur is a bit too much). No shoe shine/ shoe horn.

Over the course of a six-week tour of Germany this summer, during which I stayed at 11 different properties, this was one of my top-two favourite hotels. Hannover has no shortage of accommodations, but I am certain that I made the best possible choice in selecting the DoubleTree Hilton. At just 400m distance from the Hauptbahnhof, it’s in an absolutely ideal location, making it easy to catch last-minute trains. And although it’s hard to tell from online photographs, the rooms are indeed laid out, wall to wall, with cozy, chic carpeting, which is infinitely preferable to cold hardwood floors. Not only was my room spacious and comfortable, providing a real home-away-from-home feeling, but it featured a marvellous balcony — a large but private space that offered a great view. The desk was generously sized, making it easy for me to arrange my laptop, maps, and other materials. The AC worked perfectly (a must for summer travelling). And I was provided with complimentary slippers and a bathrobe for the duration of my stay — a feature that distinguishes the best hotels. The breakfast was excellent, with Nürnberg-style Bratwürstchen as well as bacon as accompaniments to the scrambled eggs. Kudos as well to the hotel for setting its breakfast start time at 6:30 throughout the week, including weekends, rather than delaying it till 7:00 on Saturdays and Sundays, as many hotels do. I especially appreciated the fact that my room faced east, so that the morning light streamed in through its panoramic windows, once I opened the blinds. Like most hotels, the DoubleTree Hilton disengages its heating system in the summer months, but the sunlight warmed up my room in the mornings as much as I wished. I originally booked a five-night stay here, which I later shortened to two for scheduling reasons, and greatly regretted the shortened stay — I would have gladly berthed here for the full five days. The next time I use Hannover as a travel hub, I will unquestionably book this hotel again.

The only negative about this excellent hotel that I can possibly think of is that I wasn’t able to check in early (though I knew in advance that this might not be possible). A 6:00 breakfast start time would be even better than 6:30. But these are very minor points. The hotel is near perfect, and, in my opinion, the best possible choice in Hannover, especially at this price point. It made this leg of my six-week journey a truly wonderful experience.

Clean, quiet and spacy room. The area around the central station is very shady but the hotel is just far enough away that you don't feel uncomfortable walking around outside.

With the sun shining directly through the windows all day long, it got super hot in there. The air condition definitely did its job, but it was a bit annoying that it had to be running all day and night in order to keep the temperature at a comfortable level.

First of all, a beautiful and pleasant hotel. The family room we stayed in was huge and well designed, very comfortable beds, we really liked it. Helpful and generous staff, standard breakfast but was excellent. The hotel is in a very good location, the city center, there is parking and in general an excellent hotel for its price. If we are in the area we will return to the same hotel. Recommend to everyone.

I didn't find anything negative

The location is very good for train travellers: within walking distance from Hannover main station. The breakfast is downright fantastic. Another big plus: the checkout was at noon - we were happy to be able to stay until then. For dinner we had roomservice ... the food arrived very promptly and tasted great. The wireless internet in the room functioned very well. There is plenty of hot water in the shower ... :)

There was some construction in the hallways when we were there, also in the parking garage, but it did not affect us much. The spa was closed, though. The hotel recently underwent a re-branding; some of its IT processes and the signage seemed still a bit off.

Great comfortable room,- spacey,- very good bed and very nice room service food.

There were some issues with selections from room service menu,- and only 1 bathrobe when it should have bern 2,- and some problems reaching guest service as they several times not pick up phone or forgot our orders. However they compensated us for this and staff then turned out professional after all.
