During my recent stay at Staycity Aparthotel in Heidelberg, an unexpected challenge threatened to mar my experience. However, thanks to the exceptional efforts of Nurlan, what could have been a disappointment turned into a truly exceptional stay. Upon arrival, I was disappointed by the room allocation and the discomfort of small, mobile beds. My concerns were swiftly addressed by Nurlan, who exhibited an exceptional commitment to guest satisfaction. Despite the hotel's full occupancy and the unavailability of my preferred room type, Nurlan took it upon himself to find a solution. Nurlan's dedication to ensuring a positive experience was evident as he arranged a spacious 2-bedroom apartment for the remainder of my stay. This gesture went above and beyond, exceeding my expectations and turning my stay into a delightful one. The impact of Nurlan's exceptional service cannot be overstated. His attentive assistance and genuine commitment to resolving my concerns transformed my initial disappointment into genuine delight. New and modern hotel with nice decoration with very clean rooms, professional and cooperative staff and reasonable prices. Rich breakfast buffet with different options. fully equipped kitchenette with all facilities in the room (such as microwave oven and dishwasher), Easy access to all parts of the city and touristic attractions by public transport; 1min walk to the nearest bus station (Montpellierbrücke) and about 10 min walk to Heidelberg Hbf. Different types of restaurants near the hotel.

There is no everyday cleaning of the rooms; I stayed for two nights so this was not a major problem for me.

We had a fantastic 3 days in a 1 bedroom apartment. it was spotlessly clean and had everything you could wish for. It has plenty of on-site parking spaces. Although it was 15 euros each night, we thought it was worth it to know the car was secure , there is a little beer garden to relax in after along day and drinks are at a reasonable price, the staff are lovely and friendly, the hotel is quite a walk from the old town but if you get the number 22 tram across the road it takes you straight into the centre.

There is nothing to dislike.

Renovated modern apartment or quite new. Good parking and possible to drive in before check in. We were only one nigh there and the bus station which takes you to the Altstad is in front of hotel, which was good.

It is not that we dont like, but the window handle was kind of blocked, we couldnt lock the window. Good sound insulation of windows, but it opened during the night a few mm and we were oriented toward street with lot of ttaffic. It could be fixed, but we arrived late from the city and didnt noticed that on time. We were tired and that didn't bother us. Everything else was excelent.

The room was very spacious and new. We got a room with 2 twin beds, but they were sized bigger than a twin we are familiar with in the US. So that was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was a short walk to the main train station - where you could catch buses and trams to all over Heidelburg and there is a tourist info outside the main station for help. Great hotel outside of the main historic part of the city. We stayed here because family was here for an extended stay. But we had an easy time getting in to see the sights of Heidelburg and enjoy the historic city.

I did not have breakfast at the hotel. The ambience in the hotel was fantastic and welcoming. The room was very cozy and had everything I needed for the week. The kitchenette was super useful. The hotel is super clean too. I had a great time here. The location is quite convenient. It's at a 10 mins walk to the main station and there are several public transport connections nearby as well. The staff was very supportive and the front desk was available 24x7. Overall I had a great stay here.

I liked everything

The hotel was exactly what we expected from the listing and more. It's modern, it has all the facilities one could want, the breakfast was extraordinary and above all else, we were at peace. The main quality of the hotel that stood out to us, were the exceptionally kind and helpful staff members. Our train had a delay, but they were still there to check us in and they even gave us a room upgrade. From there they made sure we had everything we wanted. Special thanks goes out to Andrea who, coincidentally, was the one to greet and help us the entire weekend.

Everything, they gave us a free upgrade to brand new aparthotel then I requested them for luggage storage as the check in time was 3 PM but I reached @ 1PM the lady at the counter just checked whether my room was ready and she gave me the room key straight away again without any cost.. and please don't feel I am appreciating them just because of freebies, will describe all the good parts in detail 1. the hotel was actually well located(600m from train station and 1.5 km from tourist attractions) 2. Brand new construction (very clean) 3. Well equipped kitchen 4. Best was staff(a genuinely helpful one) Will love to stay again and will definitely try staycity hotel in other cities too

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The Staff was very gentle and the room really nice and clean. Beds were comfortable and the shower was very good. The toilet was separeted from the bathroom, which I find great, but unfortunately the aspirator wasn't really working properly as well as the hairdryer in the bathroom, but the staff helped us fixing them. I will choose (and recommend) this Aparthotel again when I'll go back to Heidelberg

In the close surrounding area there is really nothing else but a gym, anyway you can reach the city center by tram or bus in really just 5-10 minutes.

Only a ten min walk from the train station. My room was clearly brand new so everything was “fresh”. Big room for just a double and it’s always a tick from me if the room comes way with an iron / board already. Big lobby / lounge area which came in handy for my limbo period of 2 hours between checking out and my train time. The main town is only one tram ride away (about 15 mins) - I never paid in either direction, I just got on as everyone else seemed to be doing the same!

The air-con didn’t really do much, so I had to open the window to keep things cool, (this seems to be normal for Germany though, I’ve stated in 4 hotels here so far and every single one had the same issue).
