We stayed just 2 nights at this hotel. It was lovely. We arrived hours too early, but the reception staff offered to look after our gear whilst we went off to explore (we arrived on the motorbike in 36 degree heat!). Great free parking in the underground carpark for the motorbike with lots of space so we could tuck out of the way, and secure too - we chained up to the railings. The reception explained how the little ferry worked - you have to go on that! The only boat I know that goes sideways, due to the strong current. We bought a cheap batch of 10 crossings and used nearly all. The food was good in the hotel, both evening and breakfast. There was lots of space in the bar area to sit inside or out. The room was clean and we loved the little window in the bathroom. Fab vue out over the river to the old city from our enormous window. Overall, a great hotel. It was once a grand place, but is still lovely.

Our room was big and comfy with a river view. Staff and service was excellent.

There was one issue with a waiter who seem to take a dislike to us. We could not get served with a drink in the evening so I approached the bar only to be told to, SIT DOWN!! The same thing happened on the second evening, real issue getting served, same waiter. On the third evening I thought I would approach him on route from the bar where he just totally blanked me. I decided to talk to a senior member of staff, couldn't have been more helpful, just like nearly all the staff. I was offered a free drink and an apology. Unfortunately the waiter approached me after and made hand jestures, I felt a bit intimidated so left and went to my room, we left the next day.

Fabulous location on the banks of the Rhine looking over to the main centre of Koblenz. It is a taxi ride into the main restaurant/bar area but worth it due to the spectacular views & how good the hotel was! As motorcyclists the parking was right out front and felt very secure. Hotel staff were amazing, they all spoke English but appreciated that we tried to speak some German albeit a bit broken. The price was incredible too, for the quality of the hotel it was amazing value. Genuinely can’t recommend highly enough.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Hotel was easy to find and park at, although we were lucky to arrive early and get a space with unrestricted height near the front door. If we'd arrived later we'd have struggled to park with a car and roofbox at 2.2m. Hotel is nice and has great views of the city across the river to the old town. Room was basic but well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and hotel staff were happy for us to have the dog with us in the dining-room.

We ventured over to the old town area using the free ferry which crosses from just in front of the hotel, however, what we didn't realise was that the ferry stops at 6.30 in the evening, so we had to take a taxi back after dinner. Worth bearing in mind if you plan to eat out in town while there. The hotel staff were really helpful in calling a cab for us, as we didn't have a local number and couldn't see a taxi rank where we were.

We booked a room with a balcony and we were so glad we did! The view from the balcony was spectacular! (Photos below).The furnishing in the room are old fashioned but in good order. We had a massive bath/jacuzzi in our room with was amazing! Bathroom and Room were a great size. Plenty of parking in the underground garage. Swimming pool nice and relaxing and clean. Very relaxing area beside the Rhine with plenty of paths for walking or cycling. During the day there is a ferry crossing the Rhine to Koblenz.

Service at the bar was very slow, hotel a bit tired in places

Fantastic location. Close to old town. Really very beautiful river view. Excellent dinner. Friendly employees. Fast check in. Parking place in front of the hotel. Very tasty breakfast. Huge windows in the restauarant and breakfast room are a joy!

Matrasses in plastic made us sweat a lot. Room was smaller then showed on the pics. Miscommunication between reception and restaurant about kitchen closing time, 21.00 or 21.30. We arrived later then planned. Luckily in the end we could have dinner. Bad wifi in the room.

The cocktails were super tasty, breakfast amazing as well. The beds were comfy, the view was good and the staff was nice! The location was good, and nice that you could rent electrical scooters from the entrance of the hotel.

The water from the showers was not flushing away that good, the water in the pool was quite cold, we would say a bit too cold. And the last thing was that in our room, we could hear the complete conversation of our neighbours, but, the hotel provides earplugs which makes it better!

Exceptional location, our room had view to the river, it was great! Room was confortable and clean.

The sun at the restaurant terrace at dinner time was too annoying, there were no tables in the shadow, and inside it was hot with no fan or airconditioning. Nevertheless the food was great, the service was perfect and the view is fantastic...

The room was perfect over looking the river Rhine, a good size and well equipped, with large TV and desk the bathroom had a lovely walking in shower, it was missing a bidet and the basin waste plug was broken.

On arrival at breakfast there was no table available and the staff had to rush round looking for a table and chairs, we had to wait for the Orange juice to be replenished there was no bacon and poor selection of Bread rolls.

Upon checking in our room was upgraded for free which was a pleasant surprise. The view from the room was straight onto the Rhine. Facilities were perfect, stocked mini-fridge, two large smart-tv's, sizable living room, electronic shutters and airconditioning. Overall it was splendid!

While the outdated look of the room was okay at best. The bathroom didn't age well and looked quite hideous.
