Location was excellent, with a Rhine boat stop right outside the door. Staff were very polite and friendly. We were allowed to leave our car slightly over the official time so that we could take the cable car to the Ehrenbreitstein fortress before continuing our journey south. Quality of room was first class: we got a mini-suite with a balcony view over the river. Furnishings are of excellent quality. Amazing value for money!

We discussed a better black-out in the bathroom (we like near-total darkness to sleep and the bedroom shutters provide this) and the manager said they would look into it in the winter. But this is a really niggling complaint. We'd be back in a flash.

The location was great, just a short walk from the train station. I was lucky enough to get an east-facing river view room and waking up every morning to the sun shining in the window was like a dream. The sunny breakfast room added to the great start to the day. Everyone was super nice to me. I loved every second of my stay, thank you!

The beds were far too soft for me, but that's just my preference as I prefer hard mattresses. I'm sure this will be a positive for others :)

The communication before during and after arrival was excellent! The gentleman at the front desk and in the restaurant was informative and kind. It is located on the cycle path which made it easy to find. It was raining and we were allowed an early check in. The bike garage was accessible with our room key so we could come and go as needed. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. I can't say enough about this great hotel. Thank you!

Location was great! Loved having breakfast and drinks on the terrace. The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean.

We were disappointed that the kitchen was closed 2 days of our stay, and there weren’t many other options in the area, or they were closed also. It would be nice if local restaurants alternated days closed to avoid this.

this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in, in Koblenz. Friendly staff, nice warm and modern room, the hotel is very very clean, comfortable beds. fridge in room was nice to have. lovely view of the Rhine from my room and from the breakfast room. breakfast was very good every morning and the area very clean and staff very nice. I can’t wait to stay here again

Great location 100m from the Rhine River. Most of the Hotel and restaurant overlooks the river which was superb for barge watching and relaxing with a good bottle of wine. Paved walkway all along past the hotel to the tourist point where the Mosel meets the Rhine. Cable car ride just before it is a must. Hot breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of window seating. Bedroom was large and bed very comfortable. Jeff at the front desk was very helpful.

Balcony overseeing the Rhine was a real treat, and the shade/window system was great for maximizing views and privacy. It's the closest you can get to both the water and the train station.

It was a bit oddly self promotional and didn't really meet the high expectations of itself 😆. It's truly a fairly regular hotel with regular breakfast.

A most enjoyable stay at the Hotel Kleiner Riesen! Great view to the Rhein River across the road. Within walking distance to everything you may be interested in doing. Parking for a car was good. Breakfast was excellent and room was very spacious. The bathroom was very large - great shower. Dinner (light) at night in the restaurant and the interaction with the staff added to a most enjoyable stay. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was amazing and we like that the room was quite and had air-conditioning. There as nice view from the wind of the Rhine and over the city.

At check in the attendant let another customer interrupt my check in process and they waited on them before me. I voiced that I thought this was strange, but was not treated the best. Also, at breakfast we were giving a table that was inside and we preferred being outside. We asked for a change and we got it, but this seem to be frowned upon.

Lovely hotel alongside the river Rhine and only a short ten minute walk from the train station. It was great to have a balcony in my room overlooking the river. The dining room also had a a view of the river - I could’ve sat staring at it for hours. The staff were very helpful. I liked the shower gel dispenser in the bathroom (more environmentally friendly than miniature toiletries). All in all, this hotel was great value and I would stay there again

The bathroom door was a bit squeaky and could have done with some lubricant
