We didn't opt for the breakfast. The room had coffee and tea making facilities which was a bonus. The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Location was very good, we were there mainly for the old town sightseeing which was about 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Our room and the rooms to each side of us did clearly said no smoking but one of the rooms had a small balcony outside and the couple who were there were clearly smokers as we could hear them out there (even at 2am in the morning) and the smell of their smoke was filtering into our room even though the windows were closed.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at the Hotel Brenner. We were up on the 3rd floor so had to go up stairs from the lift on the 2nd floor, but the spacious room, with its view and balcony, was worth it. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were extremely pleasant and couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is well-placed: it has private parking about 100m away, is close to shops and restaurants and an easy walk of 600 - 800m to the river Rhein.

Nothing really - apart from a lift up to the 3rd floor!

Large room, good bathroom facilities, and the best part was quiet air-conditioning, well appreciated during this warm autumn. Also, as a ground floor room, having steel shutters at night was appreciated. Breakfast area was very nice, and a good variety at breakfast. Close to rail station and only 10 mins from the main shopping area. Definitely worth paying a bit extra for a better room.

The bath towel was a bit small, but not unusual for hotels in Germany.

Fantastic hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. We had a room with a balcony and the room and bathroom was huge! It was more like a suite. The cleanliness in the room was to a very high standard. The room was spotless, room had good Air conditioning also. Parking was reserved for our arrival at a good price considering your in a city centre. The area the hotel is in is nice and you are a short walk to the old town and around 20 min walk to the Deutsche Eck. We highly recommend this hotel and would most certainly stay again. 10/10

Room was very clean and comfortable, air conditioning worked wonderful, hotel staff was very informative and friendly. Hotel provide luggage storage before check-in and after check out at no charge. Luggage left prior to check-in was left in our room upon arrival. Less then 10 minute walk from main station and about 15 min walk to main attractions along the water. Kolbenz should be enjoyed for a few days.

Nothing, hotel was perfect for 1 or 2 days stay

The breakfast was excellent. Wonderful fruit salad, not too cold. Nice bread and conserve and scrambled eggs and tomatoes. We had a very warm welcome and cheerful service. Greeted cheerfully by all staff. Attractive light breakfast room.

Really, it was excellent very clean and comfortable we liked the choice of snacks and drinks in the room. Simple but useful. We had the water but if I had been tired thr chocolate would have been a great idea. We liked it very much. Prima.

The hotel does have an elevator, so the reviewer who complained about "no elevator" was either mistaken or the elevator has been added. Admittedly it is quite a small elevator, still it was adequate for my needs. The property's greatest strength was the reception staff, who were very friendly and helpful. They made me feel very welcome.

The room didn't have heavy curtains on the windows, just sheers. In the evening, with the lights on, it didn't feel entirely private.

Located near Koblenz old town, it was a great place to be able to find so many different ways to approach the centre.There are many buildings worthy of extra time spent and the walks either up the Rhine or the Mosel are a delight.If shopping and eating are your thing then you will be happy with the choices.Cruising is Ok too.

I do not know of anything that I did not like.

Upon arrival the owner made you feel very welcomed and appreciated. Our room faced out to the local street front, but not noisy. The bed was one of those European split queen bed arrangements which they converted to two twin beds while we were in the room. Great service. Parking in front of the hotel to off load and load your luggage at arrival was excellent. A elevator was available to take you large cases to the upper floors. A nice relaxing garden area available out back to have a drink and relax. The breakfast choices were very good and Ila was charming and guest focused during our stay. Good personality with a sense of humor. The parking was just a short block down the street on the left and in a secured area. The manager offered to take our car and park it for us. We declined because it was so close by. Would recommend this hotel. The scenery along the Rhine walking to the Eck point was location was ideal with restaurants and food vendors along the way. Stop for a beer and enjoy the boats and people passing by. Relaxing!

The walk to the Eck was a pretty good distance from the hotel. Unfortunately we didn't get to stand at the point of tghe convergence of the two rivers because they had a rock group booked who occupied the whole Eck point for their live performance that evening. Access was not permitted unless you had a concert ticket. None were available since the concert was sold out.

The room was bright and cool on a hot day. Breakfast was ok, if slightly expensive.

There were coffee making facilities in the room, but no coffee. The weather was hot, but we had no fridge. Sadly, on checkout the price we were asked to pay was well in excess of the figure quoted when we booked. I showed the receptionist my confirmation email and there followed a long “discussion” and much tapping on a calculator. Gradually the price came down, but even so we paid a few euro’s extra just to get out of the door. The parking is also less than ideal. Overall we were not happy with this hotel.
