We booked for the view and the location and weren't disappointed. The room was on the small side but it is a small hotel where everyone wants a river view so more than adequate for a short stay. Nice balcony overlooking the river. We didn't use the hotel for anything other than an overnight stay so can't comment on other facilities. There are plenty of places to eat and drink a short distance from the hotel. Short walk to the river cruises and to the cable car.

The first hotel I have ever encountered where you paid extra for tea/coffee facilities in your room. We had read reviews and were aware of this so paid the extra 8.40 euro. Got a kettle, mugs and replenished coffee/tea etc. It would have been nice to have this included for the price paid. Some reviews have mentioned the noise of the trains which run on the track across the river. Yes there are a lot of long freight trains but they just rumble by slowly, I suppose they might keep you awake if you had the patio door open in the hot weather.

Location! It’s right on the spot of all the city’s top attractions. Steps away from Deutsche Eck, the seilbahn terminal and the old town. Perfect. I also commend the clean room, although it was small, but it’s very clean, especially the bathroom.

The fact that the elevator is placed in-between floor made you have to carry your luggage through a few stair steps. Not too much trouble, but people should be aware of this. The trick is to stop the elevator on higher floor so you can drag your luggage down the stair.

A great hotel in a fantastic location. Hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. Our rooms/balcony were right on the Rhine River. A couple of Restaurants, recommended by the hotel, also on the river front were also fantastic. We didn't have the breakfast, however it looked very good. The Hotel was within easy walking distance to bars and restaurants in Koblenz, the Cable Car to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, the Moselle River. The Basilika Sankt Kastor is well worth a visit.

Friendly and helpful (and multi-lingual!) owners and staff. Good size family room with proper beds for the children. Delicious and generous breakfast buffet. Staff very ready to help with our food allergies, although something might have got a little lost in translation.

Stayed during the Easter holiday weekend, so the cost of the stay was a little high, perhaps. Re. food allergies at breakfast time: staff very helpful, but because we spoke almost no German (sad to say) it would have been easier to navigate written allergy signs or a chart.

I just fell in love with the location and the Hotel . It was so much better than I expected. I would say the Hotel photo does not do it justice its wonderful. The location is super.because there are so many places to visit almost on the doorstep. I found it so convenient because I could return to the Hotel for a rest or just to drop off shopping. The Altstadt is a few hundred yards away. The beautiful River Rhine Boat trips are directly outside the Hotel. Superb location on the Rhine. The cable Car is also about 30 feet away from the Hotel. Staying here you will be spoilt for choice because there are so many great places to go each day. I loved it so much that when I arrived I knew I had to extend my 3 night stay to 4 nights I just hate to leave. I am travelling through Germany from Ireland & I dont expect any other place I visit will live up to Koblenz and great location of Hotel Morjan.

It's very hard to find things I didnt like. I guess the train that travels through the night can be a bit loud but I am a light sleeper so it may not bother most people. One day I counted 35 train carriages so it goes on for a while. Only other thing was the room did not have tea & coffee making facilities. The minibar did compensate though.

The hotel is nicely located in the center of Koblenz, close to the Deutches Eck, making everything located in walking distance. The hotel itself is simple but clean. The staff at the reception was very friendly, however the staff during breakfast was a bit moody.

There are only 10 parking spaces available for a relative large hotel, so be prepared that you have to park your car in a close-by (5 min. walk) parking garage. This adds up to 20 euro per day! Unfortunately the room had two separate beds with also separate bed covers which made sleeping together less comfortable.

A stunning location in the ‘German Corner’ of the rivers Rhine and Moselle. A beautiful balcony view of the Rhein and Fortress. Several very good restaurants close by, and due to the awesome weather a lovely continental breakfast outside on the terrace. Parking was tight but the staff got us a nice, safe spot for the motorcycle.

Nothing, a very pleasant and relaxing stay.

Super river front location within walking distance of all the Old Town facilities. Breakfast was like a treasure hunt searching for all those hidden goodies. Our room was on the fourth floor with good views of the river Rhine. The lift is a little strange, stopping at intermediate floors, so one flight of stairs will always have to be used.

The cable car and short boat trips were not operating. Maybe the season could be extended by warmer winter weather.

The best surprise about the  hotel is that we entered from the back entrance because of our car walked through the hotel and realized we were on the waterfront! Beautiful hotel with a great staff, who are very accommodating and a wonderful breakfast with a beautiful river view.

Limited parking however, the staff was great, showing us where to park overnight on the street in a safe area

Everything. Really nice, quaint hotel. Has all the facilities and a well stocked, inexpensive mini-bar!! (Wunder-mini-bar!??) ;-) staff are super, both friendly and helpful! great that it is next to the river and very close to both the Deutsche Ecke and Seilbahn to get to the fortress! highly advise booking a river view room!!

the room key is an actual key and one day at the office I misplaced and was panicking like crazy. but other than that, nothing else.
