It is a little further out of the city, but with a train and metro station close by. You can easily get to the center. There is also a shopping center and a Lidl market close to the hotel. Quiet and well-kept place.

The room does not have a fan and as we were staying on days when the temperature reached 29 degrees, it was a little difficult to sleep. We left the window open to cool off and that's why mosquitoes entered the room. Another negative point was that on the day of my check-out, the reception was empty. Check-out started at 6:30am and we knocked on the door at 7:25am, without success. We called the number and no one answered. I went down to the kitchen area and found a female employee who didn't speak English. We left her the key, not sure that the check-out was done.

The reception was very kind and helpful. On the day I arrived, I had a change in my schedule and they allowed me to check in 3 hours earlier which was amazing as I was exhausted. Normally they don't have any kitchen cutlery or kettle in the rooms but when I asked for my medication they gave me a kettle to keep in the room. The hotel is quiet and I felt safe as a solo traveler. The room was clean and new as well.

The neighborhood is quite close to the center and the hotel is very close to the metro stop but it's not the most excellent neighborhood in Cologne. The bed could be more comfortable.

Staff & owner in particular were incredibly welcoming and friendly, owner spoke flawless English which helped with my complete lack of German. Single room was very spacious for one person, wonderfully sized shower. Location was close to plenty of amenities, and close to public transport links.

Street outside the hotel could get quite noisy at night and early morning, however this wasn't a major issue with windows closed. Only one (albeit large) pillow didn't quite meet my own needs.

It’s very good. The staff was helpful, patiently answering my questions and circled the places on the map. The location is good where it is easy to find the transportations to the places you want to go. The room is clean and the show is good. It is enough for travelers to stay a few days.

The hotel is very well located - just 10 min by train from the airport and 20 min by scooter to the Cologne cathedral. Really good value for money. I arrived after midnight and was able to check in with no issues.

I was arriving late at the airport and Hotel Arena is easily reachable on the S-Bahn. The staff kindly waited up and were very helpful the next day when I need to do some extra work. Excellent help and service.

I liked the Hotel location. It's nearby to all shops and tram stations. Staffs spoke English and very helpful. Rooms were clean.

Heater was not working but it got repaired immediately

The location of the hotel is quite nice, however, the area is not the nicest one in the city. The furniture was good in the room, the beds were comfy.

The shower was a little dirty, the PVC floor in the room was sticky and also not the cleanest.

Perfect value for money - neat clean rooms and friendly staff. The hotel is easily and quickly reachable from the city centre and the airport.

We got only one key for 3 people.

Location is great right next to the subway station near Koelnmesse and Lanxess Arena. Very clean rooms and great customer service!

It was rather cold in the room. Outside temp was 15C
